"Very nice hotel restaurant with outdoor bar and tables as well as quiet indoor seeting. The menu was interesting but easy to find many good choices and the food very good. We had the prix fix three course dinner which was excellent and a good value."

"We were delighted with our entire experience. When we arrived at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort we were immediately greeted by the friendly, welcoming valet who provided directions on where we could find the entrance to BluEmber. After we walked through the beautiful lobby and went out to the pool area we discovered there is combination of water and fire features. There was a nice crowd - some enjoying cocktails and appetizers, others eating dinner. The entertainment was fabulous and not overwhelmingly loud. We were greeted warmly when we checked in with the maitre d' and in minutes were seated outside (by our request) in the delightful autumn evening under the stars. The service was very good with just enough attention, but not overbearing."
Special Features: vibrant bar scene, good for groups, great for outdoor dining

"Had the seabass which was excellent but the meal was missing a side- like garlic mashed potatoes would have been perfect. If you're a "no carber" than you'll be completely thrilled."

"This was an unexpected find. BluEmber is upscale casual with an extremely relaxed atmosphere. There were more children than I expected but there was no problem. There is not seating close to the live music but you can hear and it is not too loud. It would have been nice to be able to dance to the live jazz. I will definitely go again."
Special Features: vibrant bar scene, fit for foodies, great for brunch, kid-friendly, neighborhood gem, notable wine list, romantic, special occasion, great for lunch, hot spot
