"Service was not at the level expected for this price point. Felt rushed to place order for both drinks and food. OK at Denny's to get rapid fire questions, but expect more leasurely pace here. Then never received followup from waitress after food came until through. Food was very good."

"Red Tracton's is a bit pricey, but well worth the money. The food here is always excellent and the portions are very generous. The service is friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. Recently I was there with friends for a Friday lunch and had the lobster club sandwich. It was served open face with cheese, bacon, tomato, and a large amount of lobster salad loaded with big chunks of lobster. Outstanding. The salad with green goddess dressing is always a taste treat."

"Their steaks are ALWAYS outstanding! We had a table tucked into a corner which was perfect because we could talk without screaming. We were surprised at how VERY busy the restaurant was given that even though it was Saturday night, we were there before 7PM -- and, it isn't racing season or spring break. Oh, when you go be sure to order the onion rings for the table -- yummy, yummy!"

"somewhat overrated in my view; provenance not so good; price is as high or higher than other better steakhouses; generally seems to be in need of redecoration and a stronger management presence."

"They remodeled and I did not like it. I liked it better before with the old style booths and old world feel atmosphere. That's what I was going for and I was disappointed to find out that it was no longer there. They tried to make it hip and chic and I say "Why fix something that isn't broke.""

"Red Tracton's is a throwback, old-fashioned steak & seafood house. The bar was lively before dinner and had a great piano player that started after dinner (at 9, I think). The food was excellent and the service we received from Randy was perfect. It was a great dining experience."

"Our party of six chose this restaurant because it offered a sit-down dinner as opposed to buffet, and because one member of our party was very elderly, this was important to us. The entrees were good if not remarkable. However, the desserts, which consisted on vanilla ice cream and bread pudding were a major disappointment. Regular diners were given a much more palatable choice of various cakes and other items, so it is not as if nothing else was available. We would have preferred to pay a few dollars more and had an actual dessert selection. Because the ice cream was so uninteresting, the waitress arrived with a bottle of syrup from the kitchen and poured it on the ice cream at our table. A disappointment overall."

"Just an old fashioned meat and potato house on the highest order. Portion are huge. Quality is as good as any. Service is perfect. They pour a mean drink. Prime rib is best south of LA. We dine here often and always ask each other why we bother to dine elsewhere."

"The place was slow and still the service was poor. I was looking forward to trying this restaurant since I read so many good things about it in magazines. We were seating promptly however we sat there for 20 minutes before water service. Then bread and finally over thirty minutes later a drink order and then after that our menus. I had to tap my glass to let someone know I wanted another drink. Finally we heard the specials and placed our order. Our waitress seemed to be move attentive to the tab,e next to us instead of bring our menus. Se didn't clear the table until we said something. It was not a nice experience. I felt like my black friend and I were treated differently than the other six tables. We're we're the second to last to spina"

"I had expected a little more from the restaurant. Steak was just average and waitress poured a full glass of wine on the seat and thus sprayed onto my coat and purse so wasn't too happy with that. Expensive meal for what we got."

"Couldn't have had a better meal. The prime rib was enormous and tender and flavorful and my petite filet was outstanding. They have the biggest potatoes I have ever seen!:)"

"Prime-Rib delicious. This is pricey. I was ok about the money we spent on the meat but, the desert was 12.00 each. Very pricey. The had us on the patio instead of the inside so was not happy with that. Waitress work the whole floor on Valentine's day. I liked it but would not go back. I would go next door to the fish house."

"This is the place those in the know go for dinning. Old school in every wat. Steak as good as any steak house in town. Real side dishes, not samples. Baked potatoes fit for a king. Seriously, all the other steak houses are mostly hype. This place walks softly and carries a big stick. Their prime rib has to be the finest in town. The wait staff certainly is."
