"My wife and I dined at Cut while celebrating my wife's 30th birthday. The food and service were excellent! I had the American Wagyu ribeye, and it was easily one of the best steaks I have ever had. My wife had the Organic Poussin, and it was phenomenal as well. The service was top notch! We can't wait to go back!"

"It was a great restaurant to host a very special dinner party. Very pricey, not a place to go to if you're not expecting to pay a pretty penny.
Service was outstanding!! Always a fresh napkin waiting when you return. Drinks always filled.
Steaks were good (both prime and wagyu), lamb chops and pork was done to perfection, wagyu sashimi gets an A++! Sides very pricey for the amount per dish. No baked potato (need to add that to the menu for the guys!!)
Atmosphere was perfect.
I would return for a very special occasion only."

"After having dined at Ramsey's place at Paris (thumbs down), I now was able to have an excellent steak at perfect temperature that I could actually chew, although chewing was not entirely necessary, the steak was so tender. Although I ordered my steak saignant, and the temperature was very much on the money, the steak arrived with a lovely brown, crusty finish. I chose the "tasting," which consisted of three different steaks -- nice for comparison. The restaurant was large, with high ceilings, yet each table still had an intimate feel. Portions were not ridiculously large nor too small. Apparently Wolfgang Puck is better at staffing his restaurants. The Ramsey place at Paris was a turnoff. Sort of a IHOP of steakhouses."

"We received a really great service. They took a good time to explain the wine list and assist in selection of wine. Servers were very attentive, accommodating & restpectful. They knew I did not eat onions, and took great care of making sure my selection does not include it. The food was great. Starting from the salad and appetizers and ending with steaks and sides. Steaks were cooked exactly as we asked. This is the steak house not only in name, but in steak preparation technics and quality of meat as well. There were 3 of us and we ordered filet mignons made from different beef. We could actually taste the difference!
The only down side was a high price, but food, service & our dining experience definitely worth it! I highly recommend it!"

"I went for the steak and very quickly realized that the apps and bread are the best part of the meal. Six of us ordered steaks and all six came out over cooked. Ordered medium rare and came out medium well. We had tickets to a show and could t wait for it to be refired. Wine list was amazing and the little cheese rolls are amazing, just make sure that they know how you want your steak and make them cook it again if not right. Very loud inside but a good atmosphere. Very comfortable chairs and tables and a very nice wit staff. Presentation was amazing."

"I have eaten at a lot of top end steak houses but the Japanese Wagyu beef steaks at CUT are by far the best I have ever had. They are certainly more expensive than the USDA Prime or American Wagyu, but definitely worth the difference. Our server was also one of the best servers I have had at any restaurant. His encyclopedic knowledge of the entire menu and the wine list were impressive but his approach was very friendly and relaxed so we felt right at home. Make it a point to stop here while in Vegas!"

"Truly the best steak we've every eaten. The American wagyu was magnificently tender and the Nebraska corn fed ribeye had amazing flavor. We also had the asparagus appetizer which was fantastic. The two sides, polenta and potatoes (note that 2 could easily share 1 side), were good though the potatoes were unevenly cooked. This was the only downfall in execution. Service was impeccable. For steak lovers this is a must-splurge next time you're in Vegas."

"Had the worst steak I have ever ordered at a restaurant, that is not hyperbole. It was bland and tasteless and everyone at the my table agreed. The restaurant manager did make amends and comped the steak, but I will not be returning. The sides were ok, but nothing was memorable. With so many other options in Las Vegas for great steaks, stay away from Cut."

"I took my father to CUT as a special event. I have been to this restaurant before, and the experience is more about the service than the food. The staff puts on quite a show, parading meat selections to each table, multiple servers taking care of every conceivable need.
The food itself is exquisite, as well it should be for the price. My cocktail had too much lime juice in it, but otherwise I was once again very happy with my experience."

"Phew! Only three nights in Vegas. We were so looking forward to having three extravagant dinners, thank goodness after two bombs, CUT was exceptional! The service impeccable, friendly yet top notch professionalism. Was a shame we were rather 'under the weather'. My guess was the food the previous night was so off putting it put us in a dining downer. However, the sirloin steaks we had were perfection! The pureed potatoes, memorable! "The service was not bad, there were 2 waiters attending our table.
The single reason I rated this restaurant as being poor is because of the STEAK. I ordered my steak medium rare...it came out medium. It was a $90 steak...and I am being completely honest in saying that it was one of the toughest steak I have eaten. I have grilled my own ribeyes from a podunk grocery store that were more tender. Maybe I got a bad cut/cow?
This steak had tendonous fibers running throughout the entire cut that were of the kind you chew on and literally fatigue your jaw on until you give up. It was even HARD TO CUT WITH THE KNIFE.
Do yourself a favor and go to Carnavino, get the Ribeye. It's the most amazing steak I have ever eaten in my life."

"Let me start by saying four people - $700. Bottle of wine, cocktails, 3 appetizers, 4 sides, 4 steaks, 1 dessert. We did not hold back.
SERVICE:
I would say our service was among the top I have ever experienced. We had the lead server Bobby with Ivan and Joseph helping out. They were incredibly attentive, polite, and fun. The service alone would bring me back.
PRICE:
The only thing holding back CUT from five stars was the price of the appetizers and sides. The filet? Totally worth the price, the Mac & Cheese? Not so much. Don't get me wrong, everything was wonderful. It's just hard to justify spending $19 on a very small appetizer salad. I'm ok with spending $46 or more on a piece of beautiful meat."

"The service was outstanding for our celebration evening with ten of us! Every thing was done well by the service team - very professional, friendly, helpful, and attentive. We had a great time, wine and food were great, but service was the difference maker. Appetizers were outstanding - tuna tartare was the best I have ever had."

"We had high expectations but was extremely disappointed. The cut of the steaks were not up to the price we paid. The steaks were not tender or juicy. The sides were on the small side and only ok. We were told that the steaks are cooked in a certain way to assure juiciness and correct temperature and that takes minimally 30 minutes. The time we waited far exceeded the time we were told without any update by our server. We cannot rate the deserts as we were so disappointed with our meal we just wanted to leave."

"CUT is outstanding, but be ready to drop some serious coin for dinner. We were ready for that going in so no problems on our end, but it could catch someone off guard. The steaks are first class along with the side dishes - the polenta was our favorite. One of the best wine lists I have seen as well."

"Food was excellent from the salads (wedge) to the steaks (Illinois Prime) and sides (mac and cheese & broccoli). Atmosphere was a less special but sometimes that is what you get in Vegas with restaurants right off casino. Didn't like the upselling to wagyu beef and seafood appetizer...tried several times. Appreciated the complimentary desert for our anniversary."

"I am a local and have eaten at The CUT three times now. The steaks at The CUT are as fine as any restaurant on the strip or probably anywhere else, and we have tried almost all of the fine steakhouses in Las Vegas. We ordered the American Wagyu Filet Mignon and the American Wagyu Ribeye, as well as the macaroni and cheese. To finish we had the banana cream pie which was outstanding."

"Awesome experience. I have never written a review on a place before but I felt the need for this place. "The food and service were good overall. I must admit we were somewhat disappointed in the steaks as a whole. They were not very moist or as flavorful as we expected. Perhaps that is more depictive of aged beef. The sides which are all ala carte were average and surprisingly not as exciting as one would expect for the price range of them as well as the entrees. I would probably dine there again but I do want to stress that it was not exactly what our group as a whole anticipated. I have dined at Puck restaurants before and have always found them to be more of a name then a great dining experience."
