The Main Dining Room features a stunning view of the bay from every table. For those who prefer al fresco dining our Inside Out Room is the perfect place for a romantic dinner or get together among friends next to the cozy fireplace. A custom-built wood fired grill and a large wood burning oven serve as the focal points of Kuleto's design for the restaurant.

"Epic Roasthouse treated my girlfriend + guests, like royalty this past Sunday afternoon. The ambiance is always warm, the energy in the various spaces is always alive with celebration and good feelings in the air. The half shell oysters as appetizers was a huge hit with everyone!! Many of us had beef brisket which absolutely excellent!! Everyone is courteous, highly professional, charming and all about customer service What could be better?
Everytime my girlfriend and I come to the City, we can't help but stop at the Epic roasthouse. We strongly recommend this wonderful restaurant to our friends and relatives. Kudos - this place is a major hit!!"

"I picked to go here for my 2nd anniversary and I couldn't be more happy with my decision. We had a great table overlooking the bay bridge. The staff is so attentive and really cater to your eeds I don't think I have ever had service like I did here and they were so nice. The truffle whipped mashed potatoes are to die for! I would definitely come back for our next anniversary."

"Went early to enjoy a drink in their upstairs Bar area. Found a wonderful outside table for two on their terrace over-looking the SF Bay. UNFORTUNATELY, no one came to take our order. Bartender didn't want to take the order directly, said he's send someone right away. Never showed. We left the Bar, the table on the terrace & the view. Disappointing. Informed front staff.
Dinner notable for their steaks. A fantastic Prime Rib roast. Good wine selection but (expectedly) too bad the prices are so inflated. Always seemed to me that more reasonable wine prices would encourage more choices and greater movement of merchandise. Helps reputation of restaurant as well, at least among those who enjoy wine, to know a restaurant encourages choices."

"Went here for our wedding anniversary this past weekend. Requested a spot with great view and was very happy with where we were sat. They immediately acknowledged our anniversary which was a surprise! Food and view and service was incredible but what we love most of all was the free glasses of champagne the manager brought out to us. Would definitely recommend Epic Roasthouse!"

"The service wasn't good at all. My friend's burger was under cooked and there was no real apology and nothing, not even a drink, was comped, that's just bad business. The food was good (except the under cooked burger), especially the mac and cheese."

"Overall, the food was very delicious and the ambiance was great. But one thing that dissapointed me was the service. When I called into change my reservation, the lady that answered was completely rude. When we got to table, our male middle eastern waiter was EXTREMELY rude. He asked us what we wanted to drink, and as we were looking at the menu to choose, he just walked away! When he came back he said that you guys weren't ready so I left- are you ready now? So rude! Also, he did not refill our waters until everyone at the tables were gone, and mind you that we had 10 in our group. Service is horrible, but the manager was really nice."

"The food was good and the service was polite and efficient (but not all that friendly). My biggest complaint was the fact that the Mother's Day brunch was a $50/per person fixed price meal for three small dishes (not including beverages). The ultimate check including beverages netted a $185 for brunch for two. Way overpriced for a daytime meal. I think my biggest concern is that (despite holding reservations for three weeks after being required to put down a credit card) I was unaware of the special menu (different from the one on the website) and it's price until I walked in the door. I am absolutely willing to pay for a great meal, but this one left me feeling taken advantage of (the value for money equation fell short of equitable)."

"The food here was AMAZING. The only complaint I have about the entire experience is the noise. The table my husband and I were seated had a great view for one but not the other. The table we sat at was set long ways (a table for 2) and because of the noise in the restaurant we couldn't here each other talking...so we didn't. It would have been nice to have been seated in a more quiet nuetrally delightful location. But the service and the food was TERRIFIC!!!!"

"Service was exceptional slow 20+ minutes for a drink order and it didn't improve. I ordered the petit filet medium rare; it was medium well done-- just a small spot of pale pink in the very center. "Really enjoyed our first visit and will go again. My son who attended and works for a TV chef enjoyed his food. Once we were all seated the waters were refilled frequently, however we did notice a little slowness on the servers checking in. It seemed there were only two servers for the outdoor area. Otherwise, amazing location and we loved it. staff was very friendly. Nice touch was when our waiter put a little bowl of water out for puppy at next table; it was 80 degrees out."

"We went there and asked via open table to sit with a certain server. The manager was very nice (he is the one that sat us) and let us know that that certain server would be with us shortly.
About 5 minutes later (when I know the greet time is 90 seconds - I was a server for 10 years) comes a server that is definitely not requested server. Come to find out, he was cut/phased out and was no longer taking tables. Well Mr. Manager, thanks for NOT telling us that. This other server was very pushy in having us order right away. He seemed bothered with our questions. Our food was dropped and he didn't come to check on us, only after we were done eating to see if I wanted another drink...Not what a good server is.

"Pleasant hostess, indifferent waitress. we ordered the $20 champagne special which advertises a bottle of sparkling wine and fruit juice. First we got glasses. Ten minutes later juice. And another wait for the waitress to pour some wine in our glasses. she never left the bottle and barely came back before we left. she did ask if we wanted more juice? Food was beautifully presented but not good. The enchilada was more like a dried up burrito, not an enchilada at all. The tiny gem salad was the core of a head of romaine. With blue cheese vinaigrette. the view is stunning. Go for a drink and skip eating here. Very disapointing."

"My husband and I were in San Fran for work as well as our 1 year anniversary. We dined at Epic for the anniversary and couldn't be happier. Food was amazing, service impeccable and the view fabulous. We decided to have a post dinner drink @ the bar and were surprised by our waiter who found us to bring a complimentary dessert with "happy anniversary" scrolled across the plate- he picked up on the special occassion when we first sat down. This place was worth every penny! Will be back next time we are out west!"

"From the moment you walk in the door, you're greeted with friendly faces and very attentive service. The view from inside the restaurant is amazing but outside, it's breathtaking! We sat at an intimate table along the waterfront outside and took in the view while we drank our cocktails. Their sommelier is very helpful and not pushy. We ordered the scallops and the rib eye with sides of Mac and cheese and roasted potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection and their rib eye is out of this world good. Our server was attentive throughout dinner but went MIA once we asked for the check - we didn't complain much as it allowed us more time to admire the bay bridge lights. Overall a great experience and we'll be back for our next special night."

"Had an amazing night at the epic roast house! The staff were friendly and helpful from e moment we arrived. We were given a great table with amazing views of the bay bridge all lit up. Our waiter was friendly, informative and was ready to help with any queries we had. The food was amazing, I'd highly recommend the starter of bacon, spinach and poached duck egg. All in all a great night at the roast house."

"After having been there for brunch, lunch and dinner, I can definitely say their food and their view is their calling card. If you are into meat cooked / uncooked every which way, EPIC knows how to do it and they go above and beyond to serve you THE best meat that is out there. Definitely pricey so not you everyday "go-to" restaurant, but good for business meals or a once-in-while splurge. The views of the Bay Bridge are phenomenal and you could spend hours staring out. On the downside, it can get very noisy to the point where you cannot hear anyone and vice versa. The staff were good and on time and polite but seemed to lack a certain warmth...but maybe since its more of a "suit-and-tie" place, that what works."

"Our entire situation was not a good one. The restaurant is so very noisy we couldn't even talk to each other at a normal level. The food, except for the spinach salad, was mediocre at best.We felt very rushed by the wait staff (which was okay because we couldn't wait to get out of the din!)
