Named in homage to the town of Glen Rock and the building in which it is located, RoCCA is the Italian translation of ‘rock fortress.’ Opened in July 2004, RoCCA features an innovative Italian menu and a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for both intimate dining and parties.

"The food at Rocca is always good. Salads are enough to share. We shared the seafood salad, which was very good. I had the Tuna for an entree and enjoyed it. My wife had the salmon, also good. we were placed next to a large graduation party table but they accommodated our request to be moved to the other room."

"We had a very enjoyable Mother's Day dinner. Rocca did an excellent job foodwise and servicewise. Have always avoided dinner on Mother's Day because of the crowds, but Rocca did a fine job of juggling everything perfectly. They offered a special Mother's Day menu which likely helped them keep things in control. Have been there on other occasions and have always had a nice experience."

"I have been to Rocca's many times and have always enjoyed the food. This time the food as usual was first rate but the service was OK but not exceptional. We were seated at a small table in a side room which was fine but during our dinner the people at the table next to us were asked to switch tables so a larger party could be seated in that space. During the setup of the other table a couple of items standing in a corner were knocked down and finally our ice bucket with our opened bottle of wine was also knocked over. I did not appreciate the commotion or the loss of some of our wine that spilled out on the floor. I think a little more care should have been taken to insure that we were not disturbed by the moving of the tables."

"Excellent lunch. Service was friendly, fast and attentive. Acoustics are not very good it's a bit noisy. Food was excellent. Plenty of parking. Excellent choices were pre-fix tuna, 1/2 sandwich with soup and chicken. Prices are reasonable. I'd like to see a few more entrée choices. Like that it's a BYOB. Recommend for new diners."

"This was a second visit to RoCCA. The first visit the evening was so-so, average food, wait staff doing their job but not outstanding. We were there with a group of eight at that time but during the week.Food preparation OK but not notable. This was several months ago.
This evening was an entirely different experience. Food excellent.Choices varied with a "specials" selection by the day of the week. Seafood done properly with good accompaniments. Chicken tender and flavorful. Wait staff solicitous but not overly so. This was a a mid-week dinner with three people. The dining room had people at all tables but not packed.
This restaurant deserves a repeat - a very nice dining experience!"

"I found the restaurant on Open Table and read the reviews. My wife and I tried it 2 weeks ago and were pleased with our dinner. My wife had a beet salad for app and a sirloin steak for her dinner. The beet salad was kind of uninteresting and wasn't finished by us. The sirloin was cooked as asked and was quite tasty. I had the fried calamari, which was very good and completely consumed, and I had the braised short ribs. The short ribs were tasty and I finished my meal, but probably not something I would order again. We shared a chocolate lava type cake for dessert that was just okay. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and will probably dine there again. The waitress was pleasant and informative about our choices. Cost was a tad steep."

"Once again Rocca did not disappoint – the food, the service. My wife and I were there with two other couples and we had a great time. My wife had the Gorgonzola Gnocchi and the flavors were out of this world. My roasted chicken with cheddar risotto was fantastic. The only thing that I would change is the Arugula and fried Fontina appetizer. I would have preferred smaller pieces of the cheese instead of one big hunk of Fontina – and I’m a big fan of fontina cheese."

"Usually service and the menu at Rocca is excellent. However, the chef decided to increase prices as it was Valentines day and deviate from the usual menu..Filet Mignon was small and not the best quality cut. The deserts were sub-par and inedible. Service person barely had a pulse as she was guaranteed 20 % due to the holiday.
Over all, look else where if you want to celebrate Valentines Day."

"A small birthday gathering of 6 adults on a weeknight. The waitress was attentive & friendly, but seemed very nervous. As everyone else says, the rosemary focaccia is spectacular. We had family size cold antipasta and calamari, both of which were excellent, but as the waitress had warned us, the calamari was far too large. The dinners were Mezzaluna - simple and very good; Chicken Parm - excellent; Papardelle Bolognese - very good; a Sole special - good, but it was not explained that baby clams were in the dish; Pesto Hangar Steak - Cooked to medium as requested, tasty but extremely tough; Pork Shoulder Ravioli - flavors were wonderful, but the pasta was slightly undercooked. Profiterols with vanilla ice cream were excellent for dessert."

"We found this place by chance tonight and were soo happy we did! The food was amazing! We loved everything we ordered. This will now be one of our go-to spots for dinner. "This was my third dinner at RoCCA's and I continue to be impressed. We sat in the smaller room and it has a delightful ambiance, cozy and more intimate than the larger dining area. Our server Carl was superb. My boyfriend ordered the mussels appetizer for the third time, raving that they are the best he has ever had! I ordered the scallops for the third time as once I discover something really good I tend to stick with it. RoCCA's is a gem right in the heart of Glen Rock."

"We've wanted to try Rocca for a while now and we are so glad we finally did. I knew the minute they came around with crostini topped with a whipped sweet potatoe before we even ordered, we were in for a treat! It was so simple, but delish! The mussel appetizer was truly outstanding. I would go back for them alone, but the rare tuna over noodles and the fried artichokes w/olives we had were also amazing appetizers. We were a party of four, and everyone of us cleared our plates. We had goatcheese gnocchi, hangar steak, scallops and the grouper. I can't say which was the best dish because they really were all top notch. This is definitely a restaurant worth trying. We were in the side room which I did like, but it was a bit noisy."

"Great food as always! I love how the menu changes and its not the same every time you walk in. The waitress was very helpful with suggestions, I had the pan roasted chicken that was delicious and my fiance had a homemade pasta with the bolognese sauce. Love it every time we go."

"Did not at all like having to have the wine delivered from local liquor store. I like modest portions but these were extremely modest. Service was very diisappointing too."
