"My family had a nice lunch here. The special fish (swordfish) was very fresh and side items were good. The pasta with smoked chicken was quite good. However, the Angus burger was just so-so... Pinnacle features many menu items that fit into a Mediterranean diet, which is nice. There is also a gluten-free menu."

"I visited the Pinnacle Restaurant with my wife as part of her birthday weekend in the Temecula wine country. The culmination of which was this fabulous restaurant which overlooks the entire wine country and numerous other local wineries. The food (which has just undergone a transformation only a couple days earlier, which added new food options) was to die for. We started with the Mussels in a garlic broth which was excellent. I then had the baked lobster and shrimp with spinach and artichoke hearts, whereas my wife had the diver scallops. Both dishes were absolutely amazing, completely fresh ingredients and awesome flavor. We then finished our meal by splitting the lemon and strawberry creme brulee, which was out of this world."

"Felt to much like a wedding location, felt too much like a wide open room with tables just relocated after a wedding had taken place.. The location for the extra plates and dishes, with the large curtain should have been closed, so as to not see them.
The wine tasking room and outdoor patio was enjoyable."

"My husband, his sister and I all went to lunch. The menu is boring, especially given the prices and surrounding competition. I had a salad which was was just OK, not much of a step up for the Wendy's drive through. My husband sent his food back 2 times and they did not even offer to discount it. He asked for no tomato, they took it back and pulled the tomato out and sent it back to the table. He could have done that himself. A place that charges $16 plus for a sandwich should remake it the 1st time. Kids were running around the restaurant screaming. The restaurant was only a quarter full, and it was so loud I could not hear the person next to me speak."

"Just a "good" experience. No wow's, nothing special. IMO the dining room relies too heavily on the view for ambiance as it is lacking in inspiration.. The decor is dated and the wide open floor plan gets very noisy. Our party ordered 3 different sandwiches for lunch with fries/coleslaw as sides. No complaints but nothing to write home about either.
I do appreciate that this restaurant takes reservations. Also, the menu is "safe" so it most likely appeals to a broad range of guests (versus a more "foodie" crowd)."

"Seven of us were out wine tasting and stopped here for lunch because the reviews on line were so good. THEY WERE RIGHT! We all had something different and everything was delicious. Ladies it is a good idea to split the sandwiches if your not really that hungry. They were beautiful and tasted great along with the salmon dish, soup, and someone had a salad. Next time we will come for dinner."

"They have a specialty menu selection each month where the same food is prepared a different way each week, interesting indeed. lamb was this months selection and it was delicious. The service is knowledgeable and very friendly. The wines at Falkner arnt bad at all [I liked the Amante] As with most wineries in the Temecula Valley they are trying their best to please but one cannot expect those elite wines in the $150.00 per bottle class and thats a good thing for my wallet. I have tried a number of resterants along Rancho Ca. Rd. and i put Falkner on top of my list."

Review 10 for Pinnacle Restaurant - Falkner Winery
"Floor to ceiling glass wall provides a spectacular view of vineyards and mountains. The feeling was relaxed with live jazz guitar playing in the background. Nice backdrop to spend a romantic afternoon. My wife and I were not rushed and spent a couple of hours in great conversation over a wonderful meal. We plan to return for brunch or dinner soon."

"We have been to Faulkner for both Mother's Day Brunch and Easter brunch and were very happy both times. The food is excellent and the service was great! The buffet is one of the best and we love the crab claws, shrimp, and oysters! The live music is lovely and the view is spectacular!"

"Previous visits were excellent. However, Easter brunch was very disappointing. I expected gourmet touches on the food, but found ordinary preparation, nothing special. Food was plentiful but there was nothing but that usually found on other brunches."

Review 19 for Pinnacle Restaurant - Falkner Winery
"This was my second time to the Pinnacle for lunch. My food was marginal at best -- steak on salad was overcooked (I requested medium rare) and dressing on salad was the worst I have had in years.
Service was not good. We had to ask for the waiter several times. She was not helpful and we made a bad choice in wine because the waiter did not or could not talk about the wines."

"Our server, Tina, was fantastic. This was the second time I'd been and when (not if, when) I go a third, I'll specifically request her. The food was wonderful, salads were incredibly fresh, bread & oil was warm & yummy, and the lobster mac & cheese was to die for. Highly recommend!"

"The Penical Restaurant is a perfect way to spend an afternoon. The view is magnificent! The food is delicious and the presentation is amazing. The service is flawless. The noise level is "ENERGETIC" if the restaurant is full. However, the noise did not divert our attention."

Review 26 for Pinnacle Restaurant - Falkner Winery
"We loved the Valentine's Day special at the Pinnacle. The service was great. Our waitress served the shrimp entree before the beef entree as we requested. We shared both entrees, which turned the 3 course special into a 4 course meal. The view of the valley from our table was spectacular, with the vineyards and hills wearing their spring green colors and the golden eagles soaring over the fields. It was truly a memorable experience."

Review 29 for Pinnacle Restaurant - Falkner Winery
"I like to keep things short and sweet, government efficiency (no that's not an oxymoron).
- Food was excellent. - Service from the waitress was a bit slow due to the weekend rush and an unexpectedly large party she had to serve, but she was respectful and apologetic. - Wine was great (it's at Falkner, duh) - Environment was a bit noisy, but that had to be from the large crowd of "questionable" people who were celebrating a birthday. Large and young crowd, cursing, smoking on the balcony which was coming inside the restaurant; management had to ask them to leave the area with their activity. It was not an issue for me but I can see how they were making others around me uneasy."

Review 32 for Pinnacle Restaurant - Falkner Winery
"I've eaten lunch at Pinnacle several times, and was excited to share it with some relatives. We were seated right away, but after receiving the appetizer we ordered, we had an uncomfortably long wait to get our food. The general consensus was that nothing was extraordinarily goood. The strawberry salad literally had 3 slices of strawberry in it, the hamburger was pretty blah, the ancho chicken wrap was ok, without much zest to it, and the slaw that came with it was inedible according to both people at the table that had it on their plates. I love this restaurant for their view and their friendliness, and in the past have been very pleased with what I've had, but all 6 people at our table come away witih disappointment."
