"My wife and I came in on Sunday, and we couldn't understand how such a delicious restaurant could be empty. She had the braised pork, I had the crusted steak, and it was delicious. Also had a nice chat with the owner? about his son being recruited by OU.
Wonderful experience, one we'll remember for a long time.

"We attended Mother's Day Brunch at Minginon. It was by reservation only, so there was no crowds to contend with at the entrance and no waiting around for your table to be ready. The restaurant's website advised of a two hour period for brunch which appeared to be too much for some small children. The wait staff was excellent and very prompt. It was a three course meal, prix fixe & all three items were ordered at the start. I had the bibb salad, eggs benedicts and steak with potato hash, and completed the meal with the cinnamorn creme brulee for desert. All three of my offerings were excellent. My dining companions had similar high opinions of their meals. Overall, an excellent experiences."

"Food, service, and ambiance combine to make this a great place to eat, drink, and relax. Comfortable bar, and a relaxing interior, as well as a GREAT patio for Texas evenings. Excellent salads. Steaks are great, but be sure to try the seafood dishes and the pork shank. Service is very smooth. One of our favorite places to eat. It also has great spaces for group dinners."

"my husband and i celebrated our anniversary brunch there with several friends and had a lovely time... they made one of their private dining areas available to us and the food was excellent and the ambiance perfect !!! mignon is one of our favorite spots... brunch was excellent and everyone had a good time :)"

"Patio overlooked a little water feature. The service was very attentive and friendly. Crab cake was large and not oily like so many are. Wild boar was tender. The arugula&fig salad was awesome. One of the best salads I've had. The mozz&tomato was ok. The filet oscar and the prime rib were cooked to our specs. The filet was medium-well, but still very juicy. The ribeye was med-rare, well marbled and seasoned perfectly. The lobster mac&cheese was ok but not worth the price. The bread pudding & creme brulee were dissappointing. Martinis were very good. I recommend this restaurant but you may want to skip dessert and head over to Breadwinners next door for coffee and cake instead. It was a wonderful meal. Don't expect it to be cheap though."

"Terrible experience!! We had to send back our wine order TWICE. We ordered by the glass, and it evident the bottles used had been opened for a while; thus presenting a sour taste and a way-past-its-time taste. Worse yet, the waiter appeared "bothered" that it happened. Wouldn't it had been better, and more customer friendly, if he had opened a new bottle (as he said he did at the bar) at the table as is done at many places? He started being a bit argumentative, but when he realized that I happen to have a higher than average knowledge of wine (I'm in the business) he backed off. His service was snooty and intermittent afterwards."

"Phenomenal food, excellent service, pleasant atmosphere. As another reviewer stated, I don't understand why this restaurant isn't packed every night - the food is to die for! Appetizers and salads were delicious. Entrees: I ordered Filet Deux, my husband ordered a bone-in filet - all cooked to perfection! Desserts: creme brule and apple strudel - delicious!! Thanks to Dustin, our server, and Nick, the restaurant owner, for a delightful evening. Can't wait to go back!"

"We were both very pleased with Mignon, and have already recommended it to friends. Very good service and the food was excellent. My wife and I shared the Chacon (pork shanks) and were more than satisfied. We especially liked the bacon - wrapped figs that came with the dish. It's a bit out of the way from our house, but definitely worth the trip."

"Went here for Valentine's day dinner was very disappointed. I had the steak (forgot which cut) which was hard and dry. I ordered Medium heat and it definitely was close to well done judging by firmness and lack of juice. It was pretty dark so I couldn't see the color. The giant scallops were pretty good but the asparagus that came with that dish weren't. Go somewhere else if you want to get what you paid for."

"My date and I sat down for dinner and we look over the wine list. Right off the bat I was disturbed as I chose a wine off their list which said $6/glass. I received my bill and they charged me $25. We both decided to oeder the Filet Mignon which we both ordered medium cook. Thinking the place is called Mignon, that was the wise choice. My steak came back rare and my dates steak was medium/well. She decided to eat hers the way she received her steak. I had to send my steak back, which it took me some time to hunt a manager down. They brought me a charred steak and the same steak which I had cut half way through. Not wwhat I expected after spending $40 for a steak. The manager never came back around to see if I was happy."

"I guess we chose a bad day to visit Mignon.It was Valentine's Day Weekend,the place was packed and so we were seated in the far (very far) right wing, or as my wife and I called, "the self serve room". They had a closed menu for the weekend and that is quite understandable, however our waitress did not show much interest in explaining the dishes WE showed interest for, nor was she patient when she took our order. They didn't have the wine my wife ordered and her suggestions on chosing a different wine were very limited. It took years for the apetizers to arrive and because by then we were very hungry, we cleaned our plates almost immediately. The main dish took more years to arrive than the apetizers, not to mention the check."

"We enjoyed dinner on the Saturday after Valentines when the restaurant was busy. My husband had the ribeye and I had the halibut - both were great. We sat comfortably on the patio even on a cold evening because the overhead heaters and enclosure kept it warm. This let us look out over the water feature. We'll definitely go back."

"The food was very good, and the decor and ambiance were very nice. Our waiter, however, brought the wrong bottle of wine. Service was slow and there was too much time between appetizer, salad, and main entree. When the entrees finally came, the waiter had ordered the wrong entree for me. I went ahead and ate it, because I did not want to wait any longer. The waiter did not offer any discount or any reparation for the major mistake. Another complaint: every dish had something sweet in it. The sauce on the foie gras was sweet, the sauce on the filet was sweet, the dressing on the salad was sweet."
