"We have been here before and my wife loved it so I brought her back for our 1yr wedding anniversary. We had a fabulous time again! I made a special request for a dozen roses which my wife loved and we were both surprised to have a happy anniversary card signed by the staff on the table with the flowers. Adrian was our waiter and he did a great job taking care of us. He also gave us a bonus plate with chocolate strawberries and cake with a candle in it for our 1yr. We were both very happy with the service we received and we will definitely be coming back!! Thank you so much for helping us have a special evening.

"Our server was Blake. He was very good at serving, however the service was very slow. Apparently he had to prepare each entree. It would take him forever to come back to our table after taking each of our orders. Our meal took 2.5 hours. Way longer than it should have. My husband had to leave dinner to feed the meter. This was our first time to eat at the Midtown location. We have been to other locations in the US. We were both anxious during the meal due to the slow service. It was difficult to enjoy because we thought our server forgot about us and we had to rush through dessert because our meter was expiring."

"This was our first time at The Melting Pot and we were not disappointed. After being welcomed at the door and quickly shown to our booth, Jeff (our waiter) explained everything to us and we had a wonderful meal. Jeff was very attentive and really went great lengths to make sure we were happy with our meal. The service was great; the meal and wine were really wonderful and the ambience was very nice."

"My husband and I had a wonderful experience. We went for my birthday and the waitress quickly gave me a greeting card signed by the staff which was nice. She also brought a candle in our chocolate fondue plate. The dinner was fun and different. We enjoyed the flavors and variety. We also enjoyed cooking our own meats. "The food was terrific, but this will be my first and last time ever coming again. A 3-course meal turned into a four hour stay. It took entirely too long between courses for the next portion to come out. If a couple is out on a date, they may enjoy the extreme lag time between courses, but for me it ruined the great food."

"It was our first time at the melting pot and we told our server Blake this. He did not give us any explanation about the menu or how anything worked at the melting pot. He didnt have any enthusiasim and seemed like he reallydudnt want to be there. we also were splitting our alchol and check tenders bc we were paying some of it on corporate cards and he said that was going to be a problem. We were frustrated and confused so we asked the manager for a new server. He was very apologetic and concerned he immediatley switched our server to Jessica! She was awesome!! She was extremely thorough patient and had a great attitude. Thankfully Jessica turned the situation around."

"Victoria was our waitress and she was awesome made the experience awesome. Food was definitely great as always. (But, we do cook it.) Location wasn't that easy to get to and Ambiance was OK. it definitely could have used a paint job on the inside. Not sure what they were going for... "First time visiting this place and I am overwhelmed with how awesome the experience was. I decided to take my girl here for our anniversary and she and I loved it. The food experience was like no other I have ever experienced. Food, service and ambiance was outstanding. I would definatly recommend this place to everyone that I know. They also gave us a little anniversary card, even though it was probably premade the gesture was awsome and will never be forgotten."

"We absolutely love the Melting Pot. We have been to one other location and both were amazing. I would definitely recommend them to anybody. They do offer menu option for kids, however I would personally not bring the younger children to this restaurant. I am a firm believer in trying all 4 courses, and have never been let down, only a little sleepy after eating so much that we actually boxed up the rest of our chocolate fondue and brought it home. The staff is pays great attention to guest and the food is worth every cent!"

"We had a wonderful meal. We made reservations and our table was ready for us the moment we walked through the door. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the local entertainment. Even thought the restaurant was very busy we were not made to feel rushed at all. The food was very high quality and fresh and we felt that the pricing was very fair for the amount and quality of food."

"It was quite noisy and not really a good calm date place. My date and I couldn't quite understand what we were getting into. The prices are high and you have to cook the food yourself. We both left hungry because the portions were incredibly tiny despite getting the four-course menu. The only thing we didn't have to fix ourselves was the salad. They brought the wine out and left it. The bucket didn't even have ice. We had to pour our own glasses. It was like a was having to pay them to work for our own dinner."

"Wasn't really that excited about the food.. It was our first time here, and they forgot to give us silverware, so we were forced to eat the cheese using our hands with the bread until someone came over to help. Cheese was okay; it was cold. Nothing to rave about. We were really really disappointed by the entrees. We couldn't believe we had paid 40 dollars for 10 little pieces of flavorless meat we had to cook ourselves. It took forever to cook everything, and it was extremely disorganized. I do have to say the dessert was to die for! We loved our turtle chocolate (and we aren't really dessert people!). We then realized that when we ate our cheese, the stove had turned off, for our chocolate was super hot. Overall, it wasn't the best choice."

"This was my 3rd visit to the Melting Pot. 2nd visit to the midtown location. My biggest issue (based on the last visit) was the price of the meal for the options I was given and the service was subpar. The menu was limited to 2 options (becuase of the Valentine holiday); However we were not dining on Valentines day. It felt "cattle callish" as if I were being forced to choose from a limited menu as if to make things easier on the Melting Pot kitchen. Lets not forget what keeps Melting Pot in business (me, the paying customer). The service was OK. We had to ask the manager for assistance more than once.
I will continue to recommend Melting Pot Mid Town, but with a caveat on what to REALLY expect during their visit."
