"We planned for mine and my boyfriend's families to meet on Mother's Day. Our party of 12 (9 adults & 3 kids-age 3-6) arrived on time for our 8pm resv'n. Our Serv'r brought our cheese course and mixed up the ingredients for 2 of the cheeses. When we asked him about it, he brushed it off. The meal progressed. When we finished our salad course, the cooking broth came. Then we waited over 40 mins for our meats to come. In addition, the kid's meals were incorrect and were sent back. It took another 20 mins to be corrected. The server never reviewed cook times for entrees. Our meal went until nearly Midnight, so some of the kids never got to have the choc. dipping fun we promised because they fell alseep in their mother's lap..ON MOTHER'S DAY!"

"The service at the melting pot was excellent. The cheese and chocolate coarse were very good. However, the main fondue coarse left something to be desired. I almost feel like its a two person max for pot space. If we got more than 3 fondue items in the pot, they didn't cook evenly. Also, the ravioli fell off the fork every time. Our server was excellent, and the atmosphere was great."

"Was loking forward to my Daughters 16th birthday and 1st time to the Melting Pot. The food was HORRIBLE. Who likes boiled meat? The cheese tasted like beer, which was the only taste. ALL the food had no taste! BUT,I must say the desert was VERY good. TOTALLY disapointed. I also told them it was her birthday....And nothing!"

"Our experience was wonderful. The service was great, along with our server Jake, who made our experience very pleasant. The food was also very good. We enjoyed the extra care we received such as a candle on our dessert for our anniversary, and an extra complimentary dessert for the occasion. Just a bit pricey, but completely worth it. All in all, we had a truly Fantastic experience at the melting pot, and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. We thank the melting pot for making our anniversary such a pleasant night. :)"

"I have personally been to the Melting Pot several times in Myrtle Beach and now in Atlantic City. I love everything about your dining experience although I have to suggest that if you are in a party of 4 or more, 2 cooking pots are a must. Unfortunately that would involve reconstruction to the tables but having 4 or more skewers in the pot is just way too crowded."

"In general, gong to the Melting Pot (DE) is a wonderful experience. Yet we did not like the Melting Pot in AC. Our table (for 2) was too small and in a bad location (like an afterthought tucked into a service hallway). It was hard to reach the food and the pot, perhaps in part because the seats were a bit too low. The service, while prompt, was poor. The waiter (kid) read descriptions of choices to us like he was being forced to do so. His descriptions of the decisions we might make were way too fast, without any passion, and generally not helpful. He did not seem to know how to act as a professional waiter in this regard. His "going through the motions" approach continued through parts of the service."

"Seems way over priced for what you actually get. We had a great time, but a few potatoes, cauliflower and bread to dip in a very beer tasting cheese dip made from what looked like grocery store bagged shredded cheese could use so ingenuity in the dipping selection area. The entrée part could also use a re-evaluation providing only 3 pieces of chicken, 2 filet, three pork and a very small lobster tail for 51 dollars plus 8 dollars for the cooking method, I could have gone somewhere else and gotten a much more satisfying meal, quantity and quality wise. Also our oil was never hot enough to cook their 'tempura' batter, so we wasted a few precious pieces of meat and a few non-inspiring dippers of potatoes, broccoli and mushrooms."

"On Wednesday, March 27th, my sister and I went to The Melting Pot restaurant in Atlantic City to celebrate my sister's birthday. We were seated in a private booth, which was awesome. Our waiter, Jocksan, was amazing! He was very pleasant and well-knowledgeable of the Melting Pot menu. We ordered the four course meal specials. The cheese fondue - Wisconsin Trio, the salads - California / House Salad, the main course - Steak Lover's with court bouillon, and the chocolate fondue - The Flaming Turtle was absolutely delicious. Jocksan really went above and beyond to make my sister's birthday celebration special. I highly recommend this Melting Pot location. Next time I'm in A.C., I will definitely make reservations to eat here again."

"My husband and I had a very romantic dinner at the Melting Pot. We told them when we made our reservation that it was a couples night out and they accommodated us with a private room with its own door. The setting was very romantic, the drinks were yummy and the food was delicious! I highly recommend an evening here for a romantic night out."
