"My bf and I came here for our anniversary and it was wonderful! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. When we arrived, we got seated at a table that was decorated with heart confetti and a card. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and offered great recommendations. My bf and I both enjoyed our steaks and the lobster mac & cheese we shared for a side. We were completely satisfied with our meals and did not think we had room for dessert, but our waiter surprised us with two amazing desserts that we ended up devouring. It was a wonderful surprise. He then took a picture for us and came back a few minutes later with it printed out for us to take home. I am so glad we chose to come here for our special, memorable night!"

"Let me start by saying we always enjoy The Capital Grill! On this night, our regular wait person was off and the manager, Heather, chose another wait person for this evening's dining experience. An excellent choice; Carmen was a great substitute and did an outstanding job. Our food was superb! Their crab louie starter salad, a special that night, was fantastic! Our steaks were cooked perfectly and you can never go wrong with their creamed corn and truffle fries. It was a special night for us and The Capital Grill did us right!! Thanks Heather and your team!"

"We have been to the Capital Grill four times in the last year and enjoyed every minute there. The service and food were out of this world. The Mothers day brunch was grand and the desserts were so good we were tempted to steal the tray and risk arrest just to have some when we got home......but we didn't. We can not say enough about our service at the Grill on Mothers day! The staff made our stay the best possible by being near and by asking us if we needed anything, as well as engaging and continually helping us at our table every time. We were very impressed with the service in the past. We will return."

"I very much enjoyed my visit here. Great food selections, excellent service but is a little more expensive than I might ordinarily spend so would consider it a great option for a special occasion. It is very convenient to the local theaters downtown and worth considering tacking on dinner to a show. Nice selection between steaks and seafood. Sides are large enough to share so use that to your advantage. If you order wine by the bottle they had a nice selection to chose from. I would definitely go back!"

"Capital Grille is a very special restaurant, and wonderful place to go before the theater, however, very pricey. We both had the medallions of filet mignon with mushrooms and onions and a light, very flavorfull sauce. Absolutely delicious, and melted in our mouths. The mashed potatoes were so creamy and delicious too. Oh, we split the wedge salad, and the dressing was very good and not too bleu cheesy. A meal to remember, that's for sure."

But we both chose the scallops from their $16 "Plates" menu and were completely satisfied. "The food was good. The service was very, very slow. We sat down at 6:45 and didn't finish dinner until 9:45. It took and hour to get salads and another hour after that for the steaks to arrive. We took our desserts to go. I will not return to the Capital Grille."

"Capitol grill is a classic steak house. Great presentation and service underline the experience. My steak was cooked to perfection. The kind of a place you can have a big city dinner experience. However I would entertain one caveat in this comment concerning quality. During restaurant week when any person extends an experience in fine dining a restaurant should give the diner the complete experience. Rather than ask the diner to complete their own experience. I enjoy the opportunity to challenge my own ideas by how the chef would complete the meal. The Capitol grill will be a great night out for those seeking a perfectly cooked steak, you will not be disappointed."

"I always enjoy this place. It may be a chain, but you'd never know it from the personalized service and outstanding food. The wine list is extremely fairly priced at both low and high ends. There are some excellent choices for $30 a bottle or so, and the $100 bottles are also reasonable compared to some other area restaurants."

"Being that this was my second visit to the restaurant I was still greatly impressed with the service; however there was a very high standard set for the food and service upon my first visit, and this time the food slightly lacked. I'd gone for lunch around 12:00pm the first time, and this last time 1:00pm. My food was slightly cold,and I found my creme brulee a bit cold and yet burnt, but I did find that the restaurant had settled down and wasn't quite as busy as the first time and I enjoyed that.
Still the service was amazing, the food tasted great even at it's cold state, and the room is filled with a very relaxing vibe."

"I've gone to the Capital Grille twice now and I consistently enjoyed myself immensely. The food absolutely melts in your mouth and I like how they have the tables well spaced apart. The wine menu is extensive however I'm a tea drinker so I can't quite comment on wines that they offer. Service is certainly one of the best experiences I've had. From valet, hosts, bus people, and wait staff. I greatly enjoy dining here and I continue to do so."

"We had a pre-show dinner at Capital Grille during Restaurant Week. The food was great. The waiter was very helpful. He made a great wine recommendation. When he overheard my sister talking about wine labels and wishing she knew how to remove them he offered to try and get the label off our bottle. Later one of the managers came back with the label and had taped it on a card for us. When trying to decide between three dessert options our waiter gave us some of each so we didn't have to decide."
