"The grill does not have an extensive menu, they were out of fish the day we went which if you are going to a place with the name of a river in it you think they would have a couple of fish on the menu. The menu seemed a little bit of a random collection of food items that made me wonder how they made it to the menu. Overall not super impressed with the food, but the atmosphere was good."

"The service was very good and our waiter was friendly and on top of things. Dinner was a duck breast entree with tamale and nopalitos in a citrus/roasted pumpkin seed sauce. The restaurant wasn't as noisy as some can be, but neither was it a quiet, intimate dining experience. They do have a nice bar and a good wine list. When in Jackson, we'd definitely plan on going again."

"Everything was perfect from the bread that we started with to the dessert and coffee that we ended our meal with. We started with the truffle fries, Greek Mezze and the Wild Salmon Rilllette. I had the Cedar Plank Salmon, my hubby had the Halibut and our friend had the Duck Two Ways. I had several glass of the Riesling, and we ended with Columbian French Pressed coffee and the Tiramisu cheesecake and Dried Cherry Brown Butter Cake. Excellent service, really good food and ambience. Will definitely go there again!"

"We were extremely disappointed in the preparation of the food. The pork chops tasted like they were intended for a flavor free meal in space. Tamale confit duck was a poor 2nd way to serve duck.....there are so many other delicious possibilities for a wonderful game. The Eskimo pie was spectacular ."

"The Snake River Grill continues to not only meet but exceed our expectations. The elegant atmosphere is the perfect background for a girls night, a romantic evening or dinner with clients. The friendly, attentive and knowledgeable service staff allow you, as a diner, to relax and unwind. The only problem I've ever had there is deciding what delicious menu item I want for dinner. "Wow. SRG is a fabulous restaurant. I loved the smoked salmon appetizer and the Caesar salad was the BEST I think I have ever tasted. The rib eye steak was outstanding. The only weak part of the meal was the mushy potato risotto. It tasted too strongly of raw garlic and was a poor choice to pair with one of the tastiest steaks I have had in a long time. I look forward to eating there the next time I am in Jackson."

"We've been here before and we were happy to find that things have remained great!! "I wasn't exactly thrilled with my dining experience this week. I had been to this restaurant the year prior and it was excellent, but this time it was somewhat disappointing. The food was good, but the service, from our particular server, was distracting and unusual. The support people, however, were on top of everything. But, our server was not helpful and was very cold. I understand servers here try to stay out of the way to not interfere with the experience, but this guy ran from the table before we could ever ask a question about anything. Food and drink service was also very slow. While I was hoping this dinner was going to end our vacation on a high note, I left wishing I went somewhere else."

"I have previously eaten at the Snake River Grill, but it had been over a year. This time was just as nice if not better. Our waiter was knowledgable and professional. The food was wonderful-especially the dates for an appetizer and butterscotch pudding with sea salt for dessert. The pork melted in your mouth. I would recommend this dining experience."

"Second time in two years we have dined here. Maybe it's me but the meat always seems to be over cooked. Last time it was Elk Tenderloin, this trip was Crispy Pork Shank. Potato pancake app was mediocre. When told it takes 15 minutes to prepare I didn't expect it to come to the table lukewarm. Service was good, he was right on top of things, very good wine recommendation."

"The Snake River Grill is a "not to be missed" Jackson Hole experience. SRG is the anchor among my top 3-4 restaurants in a town loaded with nice places to eat. The ambiance is rustic but elegant. The service is consistently good. The menu offers a variety of starters, small plates, and entrees. The wine list is extensive."

"We went here because everyone said it is the best in town. Te menu is exciting and the Peking Duck was air dried to perfection.
The chocolate soufflé was also exquisite, hard to accomplish at altitude. The restaurant is beautiful and rustic as well. Hard to et in so make your reservations early.
On the steak side, I was a bit underwhelmed, and the ribeye was a little thin and overcooked. Whether you're in Dallas or New York, their medium is more like a medium well here.
Prices, it's Jackson Hole so everything is on the high side unless you want to eat at McDonalds. Service was decent but not great. We were welcomed for our 20th anniversary, but unlike most restaurants, desert wasn't gratis.

"Food was great and server was friendly to our group especially when we used multiple credit cards. Server could have smiled more but everyone has a bad day. Make sure upon a reservation for 6 or more that SRG doesn't seat you in a corner booth...not much room. Ask for a long table. This said...the food was fabulous and have the Chocolate Souflette."

"I have been many times over the years but the last 3 or 4 times the food and service has been sub par at best - a shame because for many years it was a guaranteed winning evening. Maybe they took their fine reputation for granted and just stopped trying as hard? There are now too many other great restaurants in Jackson to justify spending an evening eating average / below average food with average / below average service at above average prices."

"Snake River Grill is our favorite restaurant in Jackson Hole. We go every year during our week stay. Once again it was a wonderful meal. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere great. Our only disappointment this year was our service. Even though we were fairly early and the restaurant was not yet busy, our waiter was inattentive and didn't seen to care. This was our first experience with less than perfect service. In all we still had an excellent experience and look forward to our next visit."
