"We don't make it to Miami near our anniversary all of the time, but we did again this year and I had to book a table at Azul. As always, the staff was friendly and accomodating and the food was great. I have a few major food alergies so the staff brought me some glutten free bread and helped me choose an appetizer and entree. We had a great time."

"By far the greatest customer I have ever seen. My girlfriend and I were greeted by every single employee we crossed. Our waiter, Juan, was incredible. Really took his time with us and always had a smile on his face. The food was amazing! The view was great! Had a really nice time! Was afraid because it was my first time there and really wanted to surprise my girlfriend. This place exceeded all my expectations!"

"Nice place. Gets away with very high pricing due to its location. Brent, our waiter, was helpful advising on choices and enthusiastic.He paid attention to details like the pacing of the meal. Julian was friendly, sincere, and attentive. Both were excellent. The appetizers were mixed - the Truffle Steak and Eggs was a nice blend of beef tartar, shrooms, and a quail egg. The cauliflower soup was bland and the accompanying mousse and roe just did little for me. Main courses were strong - the trout(suggested by Brent)was delicious with wonderful sauce,a large filet of tender fish, and perfectly carmelized pearl onions. The bacon lardons were a bit tough and didn't add much but no big deal. All in all - nice albeit expensive meal."

"What a wonderful evening! The decor is sophisticated, calm and relaxing, with perfect lighting. The view of Miami as the sun set and the evening lights came up was spectacular from a table at the window. Our waiter Brent was totally on point with his recommendations and we each changed our minds to his favorites and were treated into a food coma (the good kind). Brent befriended us as three friends casually chaperoning Ultra attendees and walked us through places to visit in the area-- incredibly helpful, informative and fun. A beautiful dessert selection appeared out of the blue to celebrate our girls weekend out. We could not have ordered a more perfect first night in Miami!"

"This was my first time at Azul, and I was left nothing short of impressed. From the moment we walked in to the instant we left, service was exceptional. My name was mentioned at all times, and my special requests were made possible to the smallest details. The waiter was knowledgable of the menu and made great wine pairing recommendations. The seafood cold platter appetizer is a MUST have (even with the $120 MK Price tag).
I am a VERY picky eater, and one thing that's for sure is I will be back. Prepare your wallets, but be ready to indulge!"

"When we attend an upscale restaurant like Azul we don't expect to be rushed through like a fast food restaurant but that is how we felt. Waiter was at our table to take our order before we even ordered wine. When the house desert was brought we still had more than a quarter bottle of wine left - which we poured ourselves because our waiter evidently forgot about it. Couple more points, we waited at the valet stand for five minutes with no service because, the valet is really at the entrance to the hotel, not where the Azul Valet sign is. The sommelier tried to push some wine on us and then tried to talk us out of our request. The food was generally good but there are so many better choices in Miami, don't bother."

"This is a fine destination with some very good food moments, however, the meal was quite uneven and I'd need to see a menu change before I returned. The service was sketchy at times but the waitstaff and our main waiter were very cordial and accommodating, if not always checking at the right interval. As noted, I'll wait for a menu change (didn't like many of the selections even before ordering) and see if Azul returns to its original form that all the hype of late suggests has happened (but I did not experience this)."

"My wife and I went for Valentines Day. We had high expectations given the reviews I read. We were very disappointed. The food was "good", nothing special in my opinion and very over-priced for the quality and preparation.The server was more interested in talking about his boyfriend then providing service that you would expect for $600. To top it off the valet parked our car illegally resulting in a boot being placed on it and delaying us until 1am. Not even an apology from the restaurant after taking my phone number down."
