The Bay House Restaurant is Naples’ hidden gem. Located directly on the Cocohatchee River, the restaurant offers spectacular waterfront dining and unparalleled views of the Cocohatchee wildlife preserve. Come and enjoy our newly remodeled Tierney's Tavern and Claw Bar. Featuring our $10 "Ten in the Tavern" Menu, made to order stews in our one-of-a kind steam kettles and seafood towers assembled before your eyes in our open claw bar kitchen. The Bay House prides itself on its intimate, old Florida charm. The cuisine ranges from gracious, southern-influenced dishes to seafood entrees to neighborhood bistro-style fare. "This elegant, sophisticated but friendly low-country seafood place is many things to many people, all of whom come for the low country menu and fresh seafood. Great location overlooking the Cocohatchee River just a quarter mile from the Gulf. Service is excellent, and I am addicted to the Coastal Pan Roast. We were amazed at the big crowd there on a Tuesday evening, but we all know where to get a fabulous meal."

"We've been going to the The Bay House restaurant for 20+ years. However, we moved from Naples to Bonita Springs 3 years ago and so hadn't been back to the restaurant for the last couple of years. To our surprise, the new owners have added a front deck by the river, reformatted the old private circular dining room which seated 10-12 patrons into a great open raw bar with an open feel and increased seating. And, they added outdoor dining in the back of the restaurant. Wow! It's even better than we remembered it!
The service levels were outstanding. The drinks were tasty. The Blue Crab Bisque was especially good! And, I highly recommend the Crescent City Beignets for desert. One order makes an excellent desert for 4 people to share."

"This is a home converted to restaurant on the river a bit off the beaten path. The menu choices were original, Service was attentive. The prices were not low, but not excessively high. My wife and her friend really enjoyed the desert also."

"We couldn't have had a more wonderful meal. The lobster and crab pot pie was one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. Everyone in our party of four enjoyed thier seafood dishes. The two-tiered appetizer that we shared with oysters, lobster, shrimp, crab, crawfish, and spreads was amazing. We did save a bit of room to share a dessert, and strongly recommend the brown butter gooey cake. It was a dinner to remember. The view is stunning, a quiet protected area of the river."

"The Bay House is my restaurant of choice for special occasions. I bring all my out of town guests to this wonderful restaurant and when they return it is the first place they want to go. We are always welcomed with a smile. The food is fantastic, the service very good and the view very peaceful. I always ask for a window table when I make my reservation and have never been disappointed.

The Tasting Menu, which includes appetizer, entree and dessert, is a good choice for those who prefer a smaller portion. The quality is still superb. The view of the Cocohatchee River is lovely. "Sorry to say they let me down again. I made this reservation in February because we had special friends visiting this week. I specified a certain table number and was told yes we had the table - verbally and in writing. We arrived ten minutes early and was told our table was NOT AVAILABLE because they had just seated someone else there. This is simply not right -- and shows how little respect they have for their repeat year round clients."

"Went to The Bay House for my wife's birthday wife 2 other couples. Valet parking, hostess, and wait staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. They even let us leave our rental car in their parking lot over night while we rented a limo that took us home. We sat on the patio outdoors and had a nice view of the bay. Great food!"

"The food was excellent as was the ambiance. The only glitch was our waiter was a little scarce when we needed him. Fortunately the other person on his team kept an eye on us. She took our order and made sure the food came out as requested. Overall, this is a fabulous restaurant. We will be back for sure."

"This is always a great venue. This time we went early on Sunday night (5PM), had a great view of the afternoon light across the mangroves and inlet, watching kayakers paddling by at the end of the day. To say the atmosphere is fantastic is an under-statement. Very romantic but open as well. The bar scene is very upscale with a great group playing a mix of latin jazz complete with a pan flute and a very authentic sound. The bar is separated from the dining room so you don't get the impression there is a lot of activity on top of you. The crowd is 50's and up for the most part, and sophisticated. The food is great with some fun originals. This place is the the gem of Naples. Don't miss it!"

"We had excellent food, as always but the service left a lot to be desired. We sat at our table for nearly 15 minutes before seeing a server and I had to snag her from the next table to ask if she was assigned to ours -- in fact, one of us was just about to head for the hostess to find out why we were not being served. Waiting for the bill was also an adventure. Everything else was lovely and the acoustics, for conversation, were especially good."

"This was our second time in 3 weeks. We ate outside this time. I wouldn't recommend that. It was very buggy until dark. Service both times was slow. I think the waiters have too many tables. The food was excellent. We are in Naples year-round so we are going to try again during the summer to see if the service improves."

"Our second visit to the Bay House, this time as a group of 6, three generations to cater for. Nice table by the window and it was still light so my Grand Daughters were entranced by the wildlife outside the window.
Children's menu was good and they enjoyed the food.
The adults also had a good time, all meals were enjoyed and service was professional and friendly.

"Normally a great restaurant and has been a favorite for several years but, not up to par this time. Two in party ordered NY Strip steak, 1 med-rare, 1 med-well. They were mixed up at time of serving and guests were not aware until cutting into each steak. Waitress became very defensive. After swapping steaks between guests, the steaks also turned out to be much below the quality of meat expected in a fine dining establishment. Very dry and extremely tough. No offer was made by the wait staff and the manager was not informed of the problem. I certainly hope that this was an isolated incident because this is routinely a very fine restaurant and staff has always before been very professional."
