"We have dined at this and several other Melting Pot Restaurants, but I must say I was disappointed this time. We made a reservation for our family of four for Mother's Day, and the restaurant was understandably busy that night. However, being busy does not explain all of the issues. The food and wine were delicious, but the wait between courses was unacceptably long. Our waitress seemed harried and kept splashing the fondue pot while preparing our cheese fondue, and then she would disappear for long periods of time without checking in on us. When we finally received our bill - after spending three hours at dinner - it was incorrect and we had to send it back three times before it was finally corrected."

"Took my husband here for his birthday and had a wonderful time. Food was amazing - we love fondue and all of our courses were phenomenal. I used a 5 year gift card and it was still worth the full value :) The staff was great - just the right amount of "attentive" and made us feel like we were their only customers!"

"Amazing food, everything was so fresh from start to finish and the presentation was very nice as well. To a certain extent it's kid friendly but probably none younger that 10 or 11 years old. It has a very romantic atmosphere, the music is soft and relaxing, and the booths are secluded enough so that you believe you are in your own world with your significant other or even your friends. The only thing I could complain about, and it's a trivial complaint, is the pricing for the entree is a little confusing. We ordered one for the both of us (intending to share) and recieved two and had to pay for both. Other than that....absolutely perfect!"

"I really liked this location. It's in a nice shopping center fairly close to the Stony Point Fashion Park. There was plenty of parking and a bunch of small little shops around it, gelto etc. The inside was clean and fairly large. It's set up with some smaller little rooms off hallways that tend to make it more intimate and cave-like. It reminded me of a hotel I stayed at in Mykonos, Greece built into the side of a mountain because it was so dark.
The food was good, the service was great, I made a reservation a few weeks in advance and they were prepared when we arrived. The manager came to speak with us and ask about our experience and our server was friendly.
Only complaint - so dark that it's hard to see your food."

"We had a great time. Went there for my dad's birthday. It's really more of an experience than a dinner, since there are so many courses and we were there for three hours :) The only complaint is that the booths were really tight (and we are not heavy people), so we ended up sitting at a table with chairs in a more open room. There were other people there and a little noisy, so it wasn't at "private", but was fun never the less :)"

"My husband and I both truly enjoyed our overall experience at the Melting Pot. The food was so delicious and the setting was very romantic as we were celebrating our anniversary. I have heard people say they wouldn't pay that much for a dinner if they had to cook their own meal but for us, that was part of the whole experience that we really enjoyed. The only downfall for us was the drive there, a 40 minute drive from our house, but in the end, well worth it for our celebration!"

"I was happy with the service and food. Unfortunately, my husband and I were seated right across from a very loud family who rudely spoke on their cellphones and ruined the atmosphere. My husband and I never go out on dates because of our schedules and we were hoping for a romantic evening. However, we left feeling angry due to the noise and poor ambiance."

"i requested a quiet table away from traffic in the reservation. We were seated on a main aisle with constant traffic. I asked to be reseated and was accommodated. However, one of the two swinging doors from the kitchen to the dining area was apparently in need of lubrication as every time someone opened this door, which seemed to be several times per minute, it made a loud creaking/squeaking noise. I felt like I was eating in a haunted house attraction. It totally ruined the dining experience."

"We celebrated our anniversary at The Melting Pot. When we first sat down about three kids were at a table with their mom (I believe) and were giggling A LOT. I came to the Melting Pot because it is a romantic adult restaurant. We asked to move, but it was only a few feet away so we could still hear them. The waitress told us they were on dessert and were leaving shortly. Fortunately, they did and we enjoyed the evening together. I LOVE the appetizer, salad and dessert portion of the meal, so I was a little disappointed when I saw the salad portion was smaller than usual. We still had a good time as always and loved everything. We definitely we go back again!"

"Love the place and Bruno is our man!!! We always ask for him and he always delivers the best service. He knows what we drink, what we like in wine, etc.
Weenjoy going there, having a bottle of wine, cheese fondue and a salad. The meals are awesome but it's sometimes too much to eat (good value) so we just enjoy a salad...

"For three persons the meal seemed "chaotic". The sirloin did not taste well; I believe it was not a very good cut or quality. The price for the four courses was high if one considers the small amounts of high cost food given to customers. I would not go there again."

"It was a unique dining experience but for the price the food was simple and sub-par. A 5 star meal could be had for the same price, this was simply something different and hands-on. I would not discourage others from going but would suggest a fine dining experience elsewhere over a fondue meal. We ordered the valantines special at $55 a person which included a bottle of wine."
