Welcome to Corbetts - "An American Place." Located in the historic Von Allman dairy farm home, this grand old house dates back 150 years and has been lovingly restored to its original splendor. A full-service, fine dining establishment, Corbett's proudly serves progressive New American Cuisine paired with an award-winning wine list. At Corbett's, our goal is simple - to transform our patrons to a higher level of culinary experience. To indulge our diners, multiple comfort amenities exist. We invite you to explore our many venues, including an interactive Chef's Tasting Room, private rooms accommodating 8-24 guests, elegant front porch dining, and the wine cellar - a solid limestone and brick basement for noshing and wine tasting. "My husband and I ate at Corbett's to celebrate our anniversary and Father's Day. The price fixe menu offered a starter, entree, and dessert for $35 per person. The food was unique, delicious, and beautifully presented. For the entree, I remember having a beef tenderloin with mashed potatoes and asparagus and my husband having salmon with vegetables. The sauce on both dishes really made the entrees. Servers also carried around baskets of four different types of bread to offer to patrons. The setting was clean, bright, and relaxing. Excellent choice for holding a rehearsal dinner. All in all, we were very pleased with this restaurant and hope to eat here again."

"Corbett's is a wonderful place for a special occasion - we have celebrated two anniversaries here. Food was wonderful. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Our server accommodated my wife's needs as she recently had major jaw surgery. He suggested softer foods and readily assisted with a couple of substitutions on their 5 course prix fixe menu. A beautiful evening that capped off our anniversary celebration."

"Overall the restaurant is a classic example of right sized portions of food and excellent skills of cooking versus presentation. They do both very well. The Quail was done perfectly as well as the Lamb my wife had. The wine pairings were very good as well as the overall service level. They were very professional and knowledgeable about the menu. Pricing is what I would expect, and runs a bit on the higher side of the Louisville restaurants. With that said this is more of a traditional restaurant and not a hipster hangout, which makes it great for having a nice dinner and not trying to look kool."

"We were a group of six and several of us had the swordfish that was presented on the menu as blackened; our server had no qualms about agreeing to change that to simply grilled for all of us, and it was excellent. Because the bar was a bit noisy, we were moved with no hesitation to a very quiet area where we could watch the kitchen prepare the meals on the closed circuit tv. Corbett's is one of our favorites!"

"We celebrated our anniversary there. Everything was perfect. The food was creative and delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the service impeccable. Each plate was a work of art. Every food item is made fresh, including ice creams and sorbets, and they process their outstanding meats. I would highly recommend this converted old house for any special occasion. "My husband and I always look forward to going to Corbett's. The food is always the best, we talk about our meals for days. Service is excellent. We were down in the wine skellar, my husband's favorite place to be in the restaurant because it's quieter and cozy! And as always the chocolate bourbon ice cream for dessert is to die for. Highly recommend Corbett's to everyone!"

"Overall, everything was good but I can't say it was excellent. I had the Creekstone filet, some wine, desert, and coffee. The bill for two was around $125, so it's very expensive. I enjoyed the adventure of trying this new restaurant but I wasn't blown away by the food or experience."

"Food was very good, service was excellent, but we were sat in the basement at a small 2 person table that shared a bench wedged between 2 other tables. You could not have a private conversation because you were too close to your neighbors and you continually heard people walking loudly overhead. This was the first time we've sat in the basement and I will always request upstairs seating in the future... without it we would not go back."

"Excellent handling of our reservation before and during our visit, including a personal phone call to ensure we were aware of the pre-set menu since we had made reservations online. Quite a treat for Valentine's Day with a 5-course tasting menu. Every morsel was delicous. Service was a tad slow to start, but I think several parties arrived simultaneously. From then on service was friendly, informative, and prompt, including a special request of after dinner drinks served immediately following our desserts. Specialty Manhattan was well-made and a real treat prior to dinner. Nice surprise to find a Sancerre on the wine list and to be personally served by the sommelier."
