"Went to Tellers the first time last year - wish I had tried it much sooner! Just spent my 33rd wedding anniversary there during restaurant week and had a fantastic meal. They served three courses, we had the wine pairings (after a great cocktail and the terrific fries and breads), and everything was first-rate for a great fixed price. Serving was meticulous, the place is not real loud or dark, never feel rushed (courses come out timed very well - get to finish a course before the next comes, unlike lots of places, and the food was cooked to perfection and nice and hot). Tellers is my new favorite. And the music was pretty awesome! Not your everyday generic background noise. Overall, a great place to go."

"My wife and I went to the Tuesday night wine dinner where all of your courses are paired with a glass of wine. The vineyard featured that night was Bedell Cellars from Cutchogue Long Island. One of Long Islands best wine makers. My wife and I were engaged there and it was beautiful. Anyway the food here at Tellers is amazing. No doubt the best steakhouse on long island. Service was out of this world. Luis was our server and he was phenomenal. We've had Luis before and we will no doubt request him every time we go. It was a terrific night!"

"Pleasantly greeted. Opentable notes read. Service was good. Food was great. As we left we received a nice birthday gift card to return to the restaurant. During dessert we were also given a candle for the birth of our son. It's also the little things that matter.

"Tellers has, of late, disappointed. Restaurant week upgrade was deceptive in that the online menu was different than that offered at the restaurant, and they added a tack-on price for the common meal of a petit filet. When questioned on the price issue, the waiter stated that the online menu didn't have any price extras, just the menu. Untrue, since the tuna tartare listed an upgrade price of $5 online. Teller's food is generally good, whether it is served hot or semi-hot. The short rib choice, with one rib, would have sent a hardy eater home underfed. Filling the meager plate with mashed potatoes to disguise the obvious "shortness" of the meal certainly doesn't warrant the cost of eating at Teller's. Save your money."

"We were pleasantly surprised to find it was restaurant week. There were 5 three course pris fixe meal specials for $40.
We (our party of four) tried three of them, all were delicious. My son had the ribeye and could not finish it. The grilled asparagus as well as the au gratin potatoes were to die for. The creme brulee' won our vote for the best dessert Reservations a must. We called on Friday for a prime Sunday 700pm."

"While the food was oustanding, we felt the service was lacking for the amount you are paying at Teller's. We didn't get one of the apps we ordered, and when we told the server this he still never brought it out, we got the wrong sides, our wine and beer glasses were left empty without the waiter asking if we wanted refills, and we just felt neglected. Even after getting our meal we never saw our waiter again until he asked if we wanted dessert. However, my steak was cooked perfectly, the sides (once we got the correct ones) were delicious and the atmosphere was nice. We went with a gift certificate, and to be perfectly honest I would hesitate to go back without one. I wouldn't want to pay my own money to be treated like."

"Delicious night out for my wife and I at typical prices for a higher end steakhouse. The filet and skirt steaks that we ordered were delicious and the large portioned sides were equally good (we had the sauteed spinach and sweet potato brulee -- although the sweet potato brulee did not need as much of the marshmallow topping as they included -- it was sweet enough on its own). The staff was friendly and our waiter in particular was extremely helpful and personable. All in all, a great experience."

"I gotta say the service was great once we were seated. Had an 8:45 reservation. Didn't get seated until 9:35. The food was ok. I expected much better for the prices. My wife's filet was good. My $65 ribeye was just ok. Scalloped potatoes were dry. Spinach and sprouts were very good. Dessert crem brûlée was cold and also a little dry. But again the table service was excellent. The bar staff was very nice also."

"THE HAMBURGER & THE SALMON WERE NOT DONE AS REQUESTED. THE SALMON HAD TO BE SENT BACK. I ATE THE HAMBURGER, BECAUSE IT WAS MARGINALLY OK. MY EXPERIENCE AT TELLERS IS THAT THE CHEFS CAN NOT SEEM TO ACCEDE TO OUR "DONENESS" REQUESTS ACCURATELY!!!"

"Our party of 5 enjoyed their steaks and we would go back for that reason alone. Otherwise appetizers and sides were ordinary. Service was not very attentive; brought wrong cocktail and tried to convince us to accept it. We also felt rushed even though we had an 8:30 reservation and the dining room was not full."

"Was in on a Sunday evening and the place was packed. Food was delicious! Waiter was very friendly and did a great job. Had a small issue with left over take home food, but management took care of it right away!"

"It's been about 11 years since we've been to Teller's and the food is just as good as we remember, if not better. Although it's a steakhouse, there is something on the menu for everyone. I had many non-meat options and everything was impeccably presented as well as cooked to perfection. The extensive wine list was impressive and we very much enjoyed our selection. I highly recommend Teller's, as I think it's way more than a special occasion type of restaurant. My only issue was the acoustics in the restaurant and the proximity of the tables to one another on the main floor. It's not as intimate and quiet as I would have liked for our anniversary dinner, as we were forced to talk above the noise, but nevertheless we're going back."

"Tellers is a great American Steak House and is one of our all time favorite Steak Houses. The food is alway fantastic, I had the NY Strip and it was cooked Med. Rare to perfection and my Wife had the Filet again cooked Med. Rare to perfection. The side dishes of sauted spinich and the augratin potatoes were both scrumptious. We also started off with the Duck Fat Fries, Outstanding is all I can say. The service, above and beyond. Our waiter Javier mentioned that they ran out of Merlot which my wife ordered. What happened next is outstanding. He went to the establishment next store and brought my wife her glass of Merlot. I can't say enough about that. Noise level was moderate, but not to loud to have a nice conversation. I recommend Tellers"
