Review 2 for Soleil Mediterranean Grille & Wine Bar
Overall Rating

"The food was ok. The appetizer on the 5280 menu included the bruschetta and it came out burned which was disappointing. Seemed like everything that was cooked was bit overdone. My friend had the chicken, she said it was tough, overcooked. I had the steak, it was cooked medium which was good but there was not a lot of flavor to the meat...could have used more seasoning. Outdoor patio is nice with the heaters even on a cooler night. Only challenge there is when one or two guests get warm and the heaters are turned down (the wait staff was nice enough to ask all the diners on the patio if she could turn the heater down) and then when a few of us were putting our coats on, she did adjust it."

Review 3 for Soleil Mediterranean Grille & Wine Bar
Overall Rating
(Outstanding)
"After just one visit, Soleil Med Grille and Wine Bar has quickly risen to the top 10% of my favorite restaurants list in Denver! The food was super, the service was top-notch. Sitting outside under the heat lamps was quite comfortable. The garlic appetizer was out of this world. Dessert, too, was very good. I will return and bring guests who are visiting Denver. It's the type of place I want my non-Colorado friends to think of when they think of my hometown."

"This was a nice little joint for dinner. Everything was delicious, less the paella. The paella was really a seafood risotto, which is fine, but not what we were expecting."

"We sat beneath the covered patio. There was nothing to see, but plastic all around us. They could have taken the time to make it have a warmer feel. I won't go back to this place.
Thanks,"

Review 10 for Soleil Mediterranean Grille & Wine Bar
Overall Rating
(Very Good)
"Had a variety of tapas, all were exceptional, especially the dolmas. For our entree, we decided to split a paella, which was a bit too small for sharing. It was tasty, but not done in a Spanish style. It lacked the crisped rice and tons of protein of an authentic paella and instead of saffron and other herbs, this version has a hotter pepper flavor. Soleil gave a choice for a birthday dessert, which they graciously comped. Chose a volcano cake that was bubbly hot in a little ramikin and topped with a dab of berry sauce and a candle. The smooth texture and intense chocolate was a delicious end to the meal. The wait staff has to be commended for walking up and down the steep flight of steps to the dining room."

Review 11 for Soleil Mediterranean Grille & Wine Bar
Overall Rating
(Very Good)
"I chose Soleil based on other reviews and was not disappointed. The tapas selection was varied and all of the ones we tried were very good. The main courses were also very good as well. The service is not super speedy, but the slower pace of prompting for decisions and delivery encourages a more laid back and leisurely dining experience. I did not find noise to be an issue and as another reviewer wrote the music in the background was very in keeping with the theme of the restaurant. (think flamenco version of "Hotel California"). I recommend the patio seating on all but the coldest nights. It is heated and the smaller size keeps the noise down and the atmosphere more intimate. We will definitely return."
