"After we ordered our food, it took very long to get it (35 minutes). When we asked our waiter, he went and checked. He came back and said it would still be a little while because there were many tickets in front of us. When I told him that all those people came in way after us, he said it doesn't matter, it goes by when the tickets go in. After a few more minutes, talked with the manager. When he get involved, our food was brought out right away. We were going to a concert so we didn't have the time to send it back to be heated up. The waiter never checked on us after he brought us our food until he brought us our check. He kept filling everyone else water, ect, but not ours. The manager was very nice and gave us dessert on him."

"Bruce was our server, and he was fantastic. Great recommendations, great food. The bone marrow appitizer was outstanding., The smoked salmon pate was excellent. Great shrimp cocktail and blue point oysters. Nice wine list-we will definately return to this restaurant! There was a minute or two of confusion. The Open Table lists it as the JBar, as well as on the B.O.B. website, but the door to the restaurant says "Judson's Steak House.""

"Went for a romantic evening for our anniversary. The restaurant was almost totally empty when we got there except one large table of coworkers. When I asked to be seated away from that table, the hostess acted as if I was asking for her to work a miracle. It was comical since the place was empty. Not a great start for an anniversary dinner. It will not be my first choice for a special occasion anymore."

"This was our first visit to J Bar. The overall experience was very good and will definetely return. Our server (Nathaniel) was polite, attentive and very knowledgeable regarding the menu. I was looking for a good steak, but usually do not prefer smoked foods. However, our server gave us the specifics on the Smoked Filet and it sounded great. Both of us ordered the Smoked Filet and it turned out to be a very good choice. The steaks were cooked perfectly and had a great flavor including the lite smoked flavor."
