Tucked away in a flower-filled neighborhood, this gem is nestled on a bluff high above a tranquil lagoon. We began our evening relaxing to jazz in the lively lounge. "This was a special dinner for 6 friends to celebrate a birthday. We arrived at 7.30 and left at 10.15. Absolutely ridiculous for 3 courses! I am a sophisticated diner but the experience at Vivace was less than stellar. The food was fine but not outstanding."

"Vivace's Sunday Brunch is lovely. They serve a buffet of appetizers: fish, vegetables, salamis, cheeses etc., and a dessert buffet (fabulous, save room). The entree is served family style, so everyone can have a taste. The wine list was excellent also. We never felt rushed and the room is very pleasant with a lovely fireplace. Can't wait to go back again."

"Great ambiance, nice view of the ocean from the hotel.Food was very good--cooked very nicely, interesting/creative preparations. The outcome was not our favorite for any of the dishes, however. One was very heavy, one felt like two dishes in one, and the dessert was just ok.Would try again because everything was so nice there, but wish we could have "hit" on some of our dishes"

"I know Valentine's Day isn't when you can expect to see a restaurant at its best, but we had an especially terrible experience. To be brief, we were seated in a drab hallway outside the main dining room, despite having made reservations months and months in advance and having requested a loveseat in the main dining room. Also, the service was incredibly slow. We didn't receive our wine pairing for two of the five courses until after we had finished the food for that course! The only positive element was that the food was delicious as always."
