"It was our anniversary and we wanted steak and to try something new. We had a wonderful time - the food was wonderful and the ambiance was just right for an anniversary dinner. Our server was just right as well...she was knowledgeable, personable and had a good sense of humor. We had fun!"

"Was expecting a great meal and service. The service was just so, so. Our waiter was very laid back, not enthusiastic at all and barely acknowledged that this was an anniversary dinner. My steak was very good as was my wife's. The brochally was under cooked and the bread was not even warm. I asked for butter for my veggie and they brought me pads of butter rather than melted. I know little things but Porterhouse is not en inexpensive place to eat so my expectations were higher than what we actually recieved.............plus no beer on tap.......only bottled beers..........just a rub of mine.......Very disappointed in the overall experience"

"We were at the Porterhouse for the first time on a Thursday night. There were not many customers there at 6:00 but even though our salads came out in a timely fashion the meal was very slow to come. The waitress came over to us 2 times and said she was sorry we were waiting (we had not complained) . The food was good but one person's sirloin was tough. Would not go back for the steak again but would for the walleye which was very good."

"I have been wanting to go to Porterhouse Steak and Seafood for a long time. The location was about 20 minutes away from Twin Cities but it was a quiete drive. We loved the place, great for a quiet romantic dinner. We tried the steaks. They were priced very competitive. We loved the service. I will go back and recommend to friends. The quality of the steak was good but not the best that I have tried in Twin Cities. Considering the price I will give it 5 stars out of 5."

"Nice place. Went there for anniversary - food was good, quiet atmosphere, no kids running around, lighting was just right. Not incredibly romantic but pretty good. Steaks were good and when not done exactly right they quickly fixed the problem. I enjoyed the experience. I'm not sure we'll become regulars but it is a good place to go once in a while."

"We have been able to enjoy this great restaurant for a couple of years now. We have celebrated Birthdays and Anniversaries here.
Mandy was our waitress, She is beautiful young women that treated us like family (in a good way). She had everything covered and always ready with a super smile. There were 6 of us, that get together only a couple times a year, so we stayed for 3 hours.
This is a great restaurant with wonderful service and delicious food.
We are looking forward to our next visit."

"Our food this time was not as good as the last 3 times we were there. The french onion soup was not very hot (maybe like lukewarm). However it is still the best french onion we have had anywhere. Also the tenderness of the filet mignon was a little off."

"We had a reservation at 7 pm on Saturday night and was seated right away. We were celebrating a birthday and they made the experience very memorable. The food and service was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. We will definately return to the Porter House again."

"I thought everything was very good. I ordered a steak and my boyfriend ordered salmon. I don't think the waitress heard how I wanted my steak done, as it wasn't done to my taste, but I still ate it and it was pretty good. The waitress was very kind. The manager was walking around and asked us how everything was. I think this is a great place to go to for a romantic special occasion."

"We were largely disappointed. We both felt the steaks we ordered were average at best and the walleye my wife ordered with her steak had no flavor at all. It was a nice restaurant with good atmosphere but not worth the money in our opinion. We are by no means food snobs, we might go out to an expensive restaurant like this once a year which makes having an average meal that much more disappointing.
The service was good, as was the bread, salads, and sides that came with the meal."

"We arrived and they said they did not have our reservation. I told them that I had gotten a reservation confirmation from Open Table. Within a few minutes they were able to find our reservation and seated us promptly. The manager apologized and sent out a free appetizer to our table. They handled the situation very professionally. Would highly recommend Porterhouse Steak and Seafood."

"We were there at 4:00, very nice and quiet at that time, good way for my husband and I to relax and talk. It was very nice to not have to talk over background noise. We will definitely be back. Loved the 'club' feel, very good service, food, knowledgeable staff, Mandy was great!"

"This was the 3rd time in a row of being at the restaurant that my son had to send his steak back as it
was not done properly as he ordered it. I ordered the Walleye fried and got it broiled. Had to send it
back and get the proper order.By the time I finally got the proper item my sons were almost done eating
so I took most of my food home. The waitress was not very polite after that happened. My son that had
ordered the steak and for the 3rd time in a row was wrong said he will not ever return again. The
waitress tried to make it look as though I had order my fish broiled and I know that was not true as I
have had the fish many times and have always ordered it fried. It will probably be a long time before
we come out again if eve"
