Review 5 for Table 6

Overall Rating 4.0 out of 5 (Very Good)
"Unpretentious wine list - the one we chose was wonderful. Delicious food. We particularly liked the brussel sprouts - very good. As the restaurant filled, the noise level increased and became a little noisier than we like. Service was good. We like the open kitchen."

Review 10 for Table 6

Overall Rating 5.0 out of 5 (Outstanding)
"I've been missing the best bite in Denver: Table 6's fried brussel sprouts w/lemon puree. Absolutely addictive! Overall, a lovely experience. Tasty & affordable wine, pleasant servers, comfortable ambiance, and delightful things to eat. Table 6 pays attention to the details & draws the maximum flavor from simple ingredients. When they hit the ball, it's out of the park. But there were a few things that fell inside the park & for a restaurant with Table 6's reputation, that was disappointing. The texture of the potato dumplings was grainy & tough, but the mushroom broth they were bathed in was spectacular. The pork rinds were tasteless, but the jamon wrapping them was delicious. A must have dessert: chocolate filled beignets!"

"We've eaten there seceral times and liked it. We don't go often because they don't take reservations at the time we usually eat. This time my wife enjoyed it. I just ordered the wrong thing and it was awfull. I couldn't eat it. They offered something else but I had lost interest."

Review 14 for Table 6

Overall Rating 2.0 out of 5 (Fair)
"While the Brussel sprout appetizer was exceedingly tasty, and the salad was very good, the entree choices were unexciting. I don't understnad the point of putting white potato french fries on top of white flour dumplings (which were not thin enough and didn't taste handmade) that were filled with white mashed potato. The minute steak was not very filling and really, minute-steak in an upscale restaurant?

The noise volume was so high that our lip-reading skills were needed in order to converse with our friends.

Review 19 for Table 6

Overall Rating 2.0 out of 5 (Fair)
"Underdeveloped flavor and poor technique, sadly make for a forgetable meal. The confit duck was dry and unseasoned, due to the poor technique of sauting after the fat immersion. My wifes pasta was overly seasoned with cruched red pepper and the lump crab meat was not seasoned at all. My daughters steak was cooked to perfection but had no seasoning, sauce or butter for added richness and flavor. The saving grace was the bread, a perfect blend of crunch and light earthy dough, and the pasta which was obviously housemade and absolutely perfect. The baker in all likelyhood makes the pasta and has a long career ahead of them. I had heard many positives about this establishment, however on this day I found far too many negatives."

Review 23 for Table 6

Overall Rating 2.0 out of 5 (Fair)
"The green sauce on the Barramundi fish was pungent. The fish would have tasted much better with nothing or perhaps a little white wine sauce. The bread and butter were marvelous as were the squash soup and the vegetables. The entree's keep getting smaller to stay under $25 - understandable given the money printed in Washington and the bad economy. Usually we enjoy our dinner at Table Six but this last visit was a disappointment."

Review 24 for Table 6

Overall Rating 5.0 out of 5 (Outstanding)
"A friend and I came across this restaurant via some excellent reviews from coworkers and so thus decided to give it a try. Turned out to be one of the best restaurant experiences I've had! The food was marvelous, from the Almond Tater Tots & fresh Oysters; To the Sirloin Minute Steak with Red Onion Vinaigrette and the Hawaiin Barramundi; And finally the Cheese platter for dessert. Everything we ate we enjoyed enormously. The wine list is superb, we had "The Infinite Monkey Theorem" (Malbec, Grand Valley, CO) which paired well with the food, and I even found a new beer to love: 2007 Samichlaus Helles - try it! Finally the server was pleasant and knowledgeable, and left us wanting to come back for more. If you like food - Eat Here!"

Review 28 for Table 6

Overall Rating 5.0 out of 5 (Outstanding)
"This was my husband's and my first visit to Table 6 and we couldn't have had a better evening!

Each course was perfectly prepared and timed so that we had plenty of time to enjoy each dish. The service was also superb. Our waitress was attentive without hovering and answered our questions thoroughly.

We also enjoyed the eclectic clientele in a vast array of attire, from jeans and cowboy boots casual to sparkly after-five dressy.

Overall, it was a fun foodie adventure we're eager to repeat!

Review 29 for Table 6

Overall Rating 2.0 out of 5 (Fair)
"The food was fair, it seemed like they were trying to cater to foodies, but fell WAY short and lacked attention to detail. Our waffles were totally burned, my eggs had about as much butter as eggs, and the benedict was salty beyond belief. This was a small place with interesting ambiance; they had a DJ who was really good. The one thing I had a hard time figuring out was the service. It seemed like they had nearly one waiter per table, no joke they are heavy on staff, but we has some of the worst, most neglectful service I've ever had at a restaurant. It seemed like two people were doing all the work as another 8 people stood by and watched. We won't be going back."

Review 37 for Table 6

Overall Rating 4.0 out of 5 (Very Good)
"The only negative I can say is that the music was SO loud that my ears were still ringing the day after we ate there for brunch. I know there is a saying 'If the music's too loud, you're too old' but at this rate, the younger people will be too deaf to hear anything."

Special Features: fit for foodies, good for groups, great for brunch, neighborhood gem, notable wine list
