"Very good Mother's Day Brunch. Table-side service was prompt and curteous. The food service was slow, but the place was very busy. The food was good and enjoyable. The valet service was overwhelmed - they should have been better prepared for the busy day.

"Chose this location to take my wife to for Mothers day brunch. We arrived to an almost empty restaurant 15 minutes early. When the hostest greeted us we were told we can seat you now but you will have to order off the breakfast menu. If you wait until your reservation at 11 then we can give you the brunch menu. Since not all in our party wanted breakfast we chose to wait. Why since all the food is made to order we could not be seated with the brunch menu I will never understand. Then comes the menu. It was their typically brunch menu. I ask for the special mothers day menu they talked about on the open table website that lists what sounded like several excellent items not normally on the menu. I am told no special menu."

"The first time I had breakfast here it was great. This time I wasn't impressed with the food nor the service. I understand it was Mother's Day but that's no excuse for shabby yet expensive food. It's kinda hard to mess up bacon but they managed to serve me old bacon in addition to tasteless fruit."

"We were looking for a nice dinner before heading to a show at the Fox Theater. We were running late & arrived at the restaurant with only an hour and 15 minutes before the show started. We called in advance to let them know we were going to the Fox Theater at 8 pm, and they assured us that it wouldn't be a problem. True to their word, we were in & out in only about 40 minutes. The hostess had informed our waiter before we arrived about our deadline. We were seated promptly, & our waiter was ready to serve us our drinks immediately. They brought us bread, and before we were finished with it, our dinner was served! The bread was ok, but we loved our dinner. We both had the hanger steak in red wine sauce with broccolini and mashed potatoes."

"Meal was good, nothing spectacular, just normal brunch fare. Grits, shrimp, eggs, omelette, mimosas, etc. Presentation was basic but neat. The service was top notch with the wait staff, bar staff and management going out of their way to be warm welcoming and attentive. Very relaxed atmosphere."

"I have found ROOM to be a great lunch spot. It's a nice venue for employee gatherings and special occasions. The food is always good and is reasonably priced. The cranberry spread makes the turkey burger my favorite lunch item. My only complaint is that the service is sometimes slow. I've been there when there were only a handful of customers and it's still taken a while to be served."

"The service was impeccable. The entire staff was very attentive and created a great atmosphere. They all worked well together and since this is a perfect location to dine before going to the theater - they are all too familiar with the routine as far as getting you out on time. The Manager was knowledgeable and a joy to chat with. He even insured a cab was available and waiting for us once we took care of the check. We made it in plenty of time to not feel rushed. I will definitely recommend The Room in the future."

"Visited the Room at Twelve for the first time during Valentine's Day. The restaurant was outstanding...at first entry the bar area nice and classy. We were seated and the waiter was kind and gracious in helping us choose dinner. The food was wonderful. My wife liked the open kitchen where we could see them prepare food. "We really enjoyed the food at Room at Twelve. The waiter was great. The only criticism I have is that for $55 per person, the servings were paltry (we went with the Pre Fixe option and was not, in my opinion, worth the price). In the future, we'll order off the menu instead."
