"My first time in this space - which has always been one of those jinxed Manhattan restaurant locations with periodic turnover - was a pleasant surprise. An ambitious menu that delivered great taste, an awesomely friendly staff and a beautiful atmosphere combined for a very pleasant evening."

"Everything started out so well, with a panoply of wait staff/bus people fawning over my table, ensuring that after each sip of water I took my glass was filled. However, once tables began filling up, the service deteriorated quickly. We had ordered the prix fixe brunch and when we were finished, we asked for tea which never came. We had to leave, complained to the m'aitre d' that we hadn't gotten the tea and he just stared at us. Too bad - the food and atmosphere was nice."

"love this place! my fourth time and still can't wait to go back. Food was delicious -- prix fixe Valentine's Day menu was thoughtfully created and a nice selection. The service is fantastic -- very very attentive and can't do enough for you. No attitude here. Nice wine list, categorized by price, which I think is extremely helpful and prudent. The butter cake for dessert was rich, and buttery!!"

"The food was good - the small hors d'oeuvres were delicious and just right, especially the sliders and the crostini. The LI duck special was delicious as was the salmon, but the short ribs were not as flavorful as they should have been. Lovely room with lots of BPs. Service was very friendly and attentive, but left us for a half hour waiting for the bill. In general, a fun evening."

"Valentines day must be the hectic for any restaurant. I felt the pre-fix was over priced and should have included a drink. The portions were small and I didn't find the menu that creative. I liked the place though and would definitely go back for drinks and appetizers."
