"Delicious food, and definitely on the list of places to go back. Everything on the menu looked delicious, but there wasn't enough room in my stomach to try it all."

"Seriously Marco. You've got to get over your Ferragamo star-worshipping. I don't care that you are family friends with the designer. The service is atrocious. Can't you find some decent waiters?"

"Two dinners in last 6 weeks. Food was great both times. Once we had a "professional" waiter. While he was a little too involved in our dinner conversation, he knew his trade. Went back on Mother's Day. Bad service this time. Both waitresses were new, disorganized and didn't know menu. Meals placed at wrong positions. Coffee served cold. Clueless. And don't fall for being put in the "wine" room downstairs. It is has a low-ceiling, and is a dingy, cramped room. Either room upstairs is very nice."

"I can not believe we paid about $100 per person and were treated so terrible! We arrived early to specifically have a pre-dinner cocktail, and were told they would be busy soon so we should sit down. We sat before our actual reservation time and did not see a server for 1/2 hour. We had to call someone over to ask questions and order another drink. We proceeded to have 3 servers throughout the meal. Not one person asked how the meals were (and my tuna was terrible) even when they cleared the table and mine was barely touched. After complaining to the owner apparently his name is Marco - he blamed it on us because we did not sit immediatly. I would stay away from here - not going back!"

"This place never disappoints! We had another wonderful meal and were pleasantly surprised that we could even have gluten free pasta as one of our diners cannot eat gluten. The service was impeccable and the food outstanding as usual. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"Had a group of six for dinner. Felt like I had to wave the servers down to get their attention, instead of them coming over to check on us. A dinner that should have taken two hours laster over three. Not that big of a deal because we were having fun, but just thought the service could have been better. Excellent food! The octopus appetizer and the Italian cream dessert are musts!"

"While dining at Antica Posta we had the worst service I've experienced in years. The server went out of his way to be rude to our group. We ordered drinks that took close to 30 minutes to reach our table. When we complained about this he told us we lying. We ordered appetizers, a main course and a bottle of wine. Despite this, he continued to make snide comments. While the food was quite good nothing can make up for being insulted for 2 hours. Yes, in addition to being rude the service was exceedingly slow. We considered complaining to the manager on our way out but he was only interested in a "TV personality" that was dining in the restaurant that evening. The only good service we had that night was from the valets."

"Not sure whether we got the worst table in the house because we booked short notice via Opentable... anyways we had high expectations of the food as the waiter kept telling us about the many speciality dishes the restaurant has to offer. The octopus was great but other than that, nothing special to say about the food. The restaurant is dark, dated and not very cosy. There are a lot better options in the area. My family and I will most likely not go back there."

"I always have eaten here when I ce to Atlanta But this is my last time. $75 for one glass of wine, entree and tip. Entry level glass of wine is $15! I travel and eat out at great restaurants every week There is no need for this kind of excessive prices. It's Italian food for gosh sakes! So unless you like pretense you can find good Italian on Atlanta for less than this Seems to me Marco is just going after the big expense account corporate crowd If that is you, you will be plrased."

"This restaurant does serve quality food, however entrees do not come with sides and so you need to order them separately. I ordered the Osso Bucco - a stew that essentially only has meat and so wanted vegetables/potatoes. I realize this is a lot of food but I was going to share/take-away bags do exist. The server mocked/questioned my order. Wouldn't a server rather get more money than shame their diner into ordering less? Not good for college students perhaps - no bread was served and my friend's wine came out well after food was served. It could have been that the waiter didn't enjoy serving "children" but we were respectable and ordered some of the more expensive things on the menu..."

"This is the first time I have really enjoyed the food but really disliked the restaurant. First, the good. Every dish was really terrific, and the food and wine prices relative to the quality were very fair. But the experience was otherwise completely offputting. There is only one very narrow valet lane; you can't pull in if someone is pulling out, and once you get in you can hardly open your doors. It took 15 minutes to get attention once seated. The server was trying -- this is management's fault for understaffing. The nicest room is also the bar, complete with big flat screen TVs. Not with my fancy dinner, thanks. The decor is less "Tuscan villa" than it is "German pavilion at EPCOT." The food is good, but be forewarned."

"The restaurant was quite full, and our waiter paid us very little attention while lavishing attention on the table next to us. When we attempted to order appetizers before ordering our entrees, he argued with us and obviously wanted the table turned ASAP. Then the owner came over, said simply "I need this chair" and proceeded to remove the extra chair at our four-top, upon which my wife's purse was sitting, which was quite annoying. When we told the owner about the poor service, he did not apologize and seemed unconcerned. He simply said "I"ll get you another waiter." No one showed up for 20 minutes, and we had to flag someone down. The replacement waiter was less than attentive as well. We won't be back."

"Outstanding restaurant for foodies and robust wine list. One of the few places in America featuring Premium wine by the glass as well as the bottle. Highly recommended!"

"I've heard a lot about Antica Posta and it has been recommended several times to me. I finally got to try the much anticipated Italian restaurant 3/15/13. The food was good, but the portions were dramatically small coupled with outrageously high prices. For instance, expect a Caprese salad to cost ~$15 for a dollop of Mozzarella and two small cherry tomatoes. Similarly, bowtie pasta dish with ~1Cup pasta for ~$30. It is simply not worth the price. The waiters were helpful but not especially friendly. The wine list was surprisingly extensive and of quality. I recommend you look elsewhere for fine Italian dining."

"Food is good. This was my second time there and we were a party of 6. The service was SO much better than the mean waitress we had the first time that I thought it was a significant improvement, but the rest of the group thought the service was poor (most of the group hadn't been there the first time I was). I don't understand why they can't get that part together. But this time the waiter wasn't condescending so that was a huge plus in my book."

"While the review is less about the food and more about the experience, it did not live up to expectations. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet we were seated right next to the only other group in the room, and they were unpleasant. I understand the need to put patrons fairly close together, but we very easily could've been put two or three tables away and had a much better experience. What was supposed to be a romantic evening out turned into both of us wanting to finish dinner and get out of there asap. The food was good but not great, and in my opinion Pricci, which is right down the street, is far better. Lots of great italian in the city and a bad experience like this one makes it very unlikely we'll return."

"It was our first time eating here and we brought 2 other couples. It was wonderful! Great attentive service, everything we ordered was delicious. Our only complaint was we aked our server for suggestions for an appetizer and he said he could do a sampler plate. It was all great but we were charged individually for the appetizer rather than having on large plate with a set amount. We each were served our own plate. We would definitely go back again!"

"Food was fantastic!!! Cost for two people was $124 (one iced tea, two appetizers, two entrees, two desserts, and two coffees). Service, however, was a little slow (Saturday night between 7:30 and 9:00). Getting there was the real challenge: While the address is correctly listed in the restaurant profile in OpenTable; when "Get Directions" was clicked (OpenTable Android App), the directions sent from OpenTable was 515 West Paces Ferry Road not 519 East Paces Ferry Road. We spent a considerable time trying to find 515 West Paces Ferry Road, which doesn't exist. I assume this is an OpenTable error, not the restaurant's."

"I was extremely disappointed that they chose to continue their Valentine's prefix menu through Saturday. I wasn't even thinking about Valentine's Day when we booked the reservation through you all. There was no notice that it would be a pre-fixed menu and we all found it to be confining. We added one appetizer and they charged us $25 for a small plate. We were also charged a Valentine's corkage fee of $30 each when the website clearly states they have a $10 corkage fee. The waiter did adjust this after we complained, but it was just a bad experience. It was a good thing we had fun friends with us or the night would have been really bad! Big waste of money!!"

"The food was extremely expensive and mediocre, at best. In addition, we attended the Sat after Valentine's and were asked to give a deposit in order to secure the reservation. The place was empty when we arrived and left. In addition, and this is the worst part, we were charged $40 for a "side" of risotto. This was in addition to our $60/p pre-fixed, three course meal. The server knew that the $40 for what should have been a side item was absurd but made no mention of it. Won't be going back here again!"

"I dined here on Valentines night and while the food was very good, they set us in a galley way that is clearly not intended for seating. It was very obvious they were trying to make the most financially out of the holiday night but I was very dissapointed that we were not given the option to wait for a normal table in the resuaurant or at least offered some sort of concession for being sat in this terrible area. We were right next to the kitchen were several of the spanish speaking kitchen workers were screaming orders back and forth to one another and which certainly did not make for a romantic setting. Overall the food was great, service was fair but I was shocked they sat us in this area."

"My wife and I hadn;t been to AP for a while. It will probably be quite a while before we return - there are just too many good Italian places that, frankly, are better and less expensive. We were seated in a cramped table - one of those bench on one side, chair on the other, located right by where servers went in and out of the kitchen.
Ossobucco was good as usual. I had the Bowtie pasta w/ crab - so-so. The bread is simply not good. Lots of places are dropping bread service, AP could do so as an improvement.
Wine list is extensive, but questions can receive an "I don't know" answer. Never had that happen before."

"We had an out of town guest visiting who wanted Italian. We had never been to Antica Posta but heard good things about it. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. This was on a Tuesday night and the tables were filled with groups of guys in suits so it seems to be the place to go for a business dinner as well. As a woman, I liked the choice of small plates. My husband and friend ordered regular size entrees and had plenty to eat. We also had the appetizer sampler and tried a variety of items , all delicious. We will go again."

"I've been going to Antica Posta for years, and it never disappoints. As always the olive oil was terrific (I bought a bottle to take home, the wine was great (from Faragamo), my ravioli was delicious, and the panna cotta was the best. We were a group of five. One person had the sea bass, and said it was perfect - he couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Everyone had a great meal, and a wonderful time."

"We felt like our server was extremely rushed and did not have time to take care of us. When he would ask how we were doing,he would be looking at his other tables and not even looking at us. We were hoping for a quiet, relaxing dinner and this was not the place. The food was good, but unfortunately not the experience we were looking for."
