"My husband wanted to go to Perry's for his birthday dinner, specifically for the pork chop - his favorite! The last time we were there, they had a lobster mac and cheese that was excellent, and we ordered it again. This time, the recipe had changed, and it was not quite as complex, but was still delicious.
Perry's is very good at special occasions - I had mentioned it was my husband's birthday on the reservation, and they gave him a special dessert plate with "Happy Birthday Tim" written on it (in chocolate). When we went for our anniversary, there were rose petals on the table."

"My husband and I took our daughter for her 22nd birthday. Asparagus appetizer was excellent, as were all main dishes. Our waiter recommended the creme brulee for dessert and it was fabulous.
I had mentioned that it was her birthday when I made the reservation and they came and spread red rose petals on the table and also brought a tasting selection of desserts at the end of the meal. She was thrilled and really enjoyed the meal.

"It was obvious right away why this Perry's gets such great reviews. My wife and I enjoyed a perfect evening celebrating our anniversary. When making the reservation I had mentioned that and they had rose peddles arranged on the middle of our table when they seated us. The steaks were cooked to perfection - my wife had the Chateaubriand and I had the prime rib with the bone in. The sides were delicious (steamed asparagus and potatoes au gratin). The wine list is remarkable. Service was excellent and they surprised us with a specially made desert. You get what you pay for and although the price for the evening was a little high, we got EXACTLY what we wanted."

"I normally done at Mortons steakhouse....but a friend recommended Perrys. Everything went wrong from the very beginning. My table was not ready although I made reservations. The waiter was very short and not helpful. We explained that this was our first visit. He was very short when asked what he recommended....how some foods we're prepared..and he sometime just abruptly left our table to take care of another table. My husband lamb was undercooked and tough. it was not kid friendly at all....next time I'll take my $300 tab elsewhere."

"The service was not up to normal Perry's standard on this visit. While one could argue that it was busy due to Mother's day, another could say that is the worst day for the service to fall off. We go to Perry's for impeccable service and amazing food. Hopefully it will be better next time. But as always the food was fantastic!"

"When the restaurant can not even get a simple thing right like a hot fresh baked potato, especially one that charges an extra $6.95, it is hard to recommend the restaurant. This is a pricey place. Evidently the staff does not care, since when someone cuts into the potato prior to serving, it is obvious if it is not hot and just a parched steamed consistency. The service was generally good but the server did disappear for extended times. The bread that came with the meal was very good."

"Have been to several Perry steakhouse locations and have generally enjoyed the experience, but over the years have noticed a continuing decline in service and quality of the preparation. For the price, I find it not worth it anymore and will seek out other alternatives. This experience was very slow in service, and orders were incorrect and prepared in contradiction to requirements."

"60th birthday celebration! Rebecca at reception did a great job when confirming reservation and helping arrange for transportation to concert at the Pavillion. Asked for quiet table. Seated in area that had no windows, close to kitchen and screaming baby. Ordered desert at 7pm because we had to leave at 730pm. Amanda assured us no problem. Desert served at 735pm. Rushed through, left late and arrived 15 mins late at Pavillion. Located in typical strip shopping center. Nothing special about this experience. Food was good, but really not great. Very disappointed."

"My date and I found the overall experience of dinning at Perry's in The Woodlands to be wonderful. The food was great and the service as always was the best.
The one negative was that we were seated at a small table for two right on the main isle and on a busy corner. My date was closest to the corner and was in constant fear of having someone run over her or have something spilt on her. We would have asked to be seated somewhere else but assumed the larger tables had been saved for larger groups because it was busy but alas they remained mostly un occupied during our entire stay. I would never settle for that table again.
And although the steaks were great I remember them being a little juicer in the past."

"Our first time at this restaurant. Recommended by colleagues at work. The food and service was fantastic, but the noise was terrible. There were several large tables seated in the middle of the dining room with very loud parties. Once they left about 9:00, it was nice. Not a place for a quiet romantic dinner"

"I have not had such bad service in any restaurant. I was with two business clients and
it was embarrassing to be subject to a waiter who clearly did not know what he was doing, knew nothing about the wine, had drinks delivered late and forgotten about completely and to have food brought that was cold and had to be returned. Coupled with this I was lied to be the waiter with regard to my questions.

Yes, the manager came and apologized and we received fresh, warm food. However the bottom line is that this should never have happened.
I will not return to Perry's and have advised my secretary not to use the restaurant in future for any business and or company meetings."

"My wife got the filet. I ordered the Porkchop. It seemed to be overcooked. It was tough and dry. An awful meal. I ate less than half of it. I let our waitress know and she said she would tell the Chef. We were looking very forward to spend our 26th wedding anniversary at Perrys and very disappointed in the meal. I can grill a much better porkshop at home."

"Way overpriced for the quality. Pork chop--ribs moist and flavorful; rest dry & tough. Symphony Kabob: lobster & shrimp very good, filet tough [management did compensate the poor quality filet with complementary dessert--Nutty d'Angelo--the prepared tableside sauce was excellent, ice cream not so good--bluebell is way better. Rocky Road Bread Pudding was dense and gummy and lacked flavor. Reading the description online, I now know that I had NO caramel sauce and No candied walnuts and where was the butterscotch flavor?? The homemade marshmallow was excellent. Calamari appetizer was good. The turtle soup was tomatoey. Greens in the Field Green Salad did not hold up to the salad dressing, i.e. the greens sogged quickly."

"My third time at Perry's The Woodlands. I took my brother to lunch for our monthly get together, and to have the Friday lunch pork chop. We both had the 'lunch sized' pork chop, which seemed to me as big at the dinner chop. I also had a dozen oysters on the half shell and my brother had the escargot.
The food was terrific, and the service good, if a little slow, but the place was packed. I have also had their filet mignon on another visit and it was great too. I am glad this is close to me. Its by far the best steakhouse in The Woodland. I will make it a frequent spot."

"You can never go wrong with the food at Perry's. Everything we had was just wonderful including the wine choices. The waitress was very helpful as well with selections. We were seated on time. The flow of the meal was good. It will always be a top choice for a nice evening out. Have never experienced a bad meal there."
