"Mothers day lunch for the mom and grandmothers - so the chaos was definitely all around, but the service was good, the food was as good as it always is (Porkchop, Calamari, Fried Asparagus, Filet Mignon, etc).
Big space for big noisy parties with young children (ours). Spending some money on moms makes them happy!
Salads are Huge, pork chop is enough for 3 ppl. Calamari was excellent that day. Broccolini was disappointing.
Standouts for me on this visit: Calamari, Chopped Salad (lots of bacon), Bread, Creamed Corn."

"The food and service were really outstanding, but we were seated in a small room with no other guests. The chairs were uncomfortable . If we go for another holiday -- this was Mother's Day -- I will ask for the main dining room. The atmosphere was not what we usually have at Perry's."

"As always, Perry's does not disappoint. If you want a top notch steak or awesome seafood, look no further than Perry's. Of course, the food is not inexpensive, so be prepared to pay handsomely... but your stomach will thank you."

"I took my mother and father to eat at Perry's Steakhouse for Mother's Day. Dad had the famous pork chops, while mom and myself had the grilled salmon. Everything was great. Mom kept saying over and over, how much she was enjoying her Mother's Day dinner. The bread pudding was to "die" for. I became the best daughter ever on that day :-)"

"Perry's Sugar Land is one of our fave go to places for special occasions. On our last visit, the overall quality of drinks and food was great. Everything from the famous fried asparagus to the yummy white chocolate cheescake, were excellent. Our server and overall service left a little to be desired, though. We couldn't understand our server, he sort of mumbled. He didn't try to make himself clear when we said "Pardon?". If not for the disinterested server, our dinner would've been perfect."

"I have eaten at Perry's many times and thought the food this time was not up to my expectations. My salmon was slightly undercooked and my wife's Caesar salad with chicken was not correctly prepared. The chicken was not sliced but just added as a breast to the salad."

"We come to Perry's several times a year. Mostly excellent every time. We were a table of 6 celebrating 2 birthdays and a wedding anniversary. The service was impeccable and the restaurant is beautiful. We ordered and the salads were out quickly and very good. When the entrees arrived, one lady had to send her salmon back because of the very strong fishy smell. She ordered another entree, but it did not arrive until the rest of the table had finished their meals. I ordered the lamb chops and they were not nearly as tender as they usually are. The desserts were wonderful and festive with candles and a sparkler. This was not our best experience at Perrys, but we will be back. Everybody has an off day. The Sugar Land Perry's is our favorite."

"Food was wonderful, service was terrible. Server was in a hurry to rush us through our meal and tried to get us to order chocolate cake (it takes 20 minutes) when he dropped off our entrees.
Very disappointing experience, and not what I've experienced in the past at Perry's.
I'm going to mark this as a disappointment, and hope the servers and management work on pacing their service a bit before my next visit."

"We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary with dinner at Perry's. Our neighbors had taken us there once before, and we were impressed. Rose petals were sprinkled on our table in honor of the event. That was a nice touch. The asparagus with lump crabmeat was delicious. Everything was excellent. The pork chop was actually too huge for one person but truly tasty."

"Steak needs time to rest after it comes off the grill in order for the juices to equally disperse throughout -- making a very moist and delicious meal. The server immediately asked me to cut through the center to make sure it is cooked to my taste. I asked him, "How long has the steak already rested from cooking?" and his response was a shrugged shoulder with an "I'm not sure." If I refuse to cut it immediately, I look rude in front of my guests -- Therefore, I did cut into it and witnessed all of its juices flowing OUT of the steak instead of staying where it belongs...IN the steak. I was disappointed.
Please don't have your server put us food snobs in that position, and just let us enjoy our steaks in the best way possible."

"We had a wonderful time . The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. Our entire table had fish dishes. The seafood and fish was some of the best we ever had. A must try if you like fish. "I thought there were too many people jammed into that little room we were put in. We had a huge long table(tables pushed together for about 12 people) party behind us which after they left and the tables were separated, I could see where our meal would have been much more enjoyable and the room more suitable for the prices there.I was about a foot from that huge party."

"Went to Perry's Sugar Land for Easter dinner and leanred about the Sunday night Pork Chop special. What a deal!!! Salad, entree and dessert for less than the normal price of the pork chop alone. If you have never tried the pork chop, it is to die for. The service and food were outstanding. We will definitely go back again."

"There were four in our party. One ordered tuna and it was served "cold" or not hot enough for that person so she requested that it be substituted and asked for the salmon which was what I had. It was delicious. It took a long time for her substitution to arrive and we were just about through eating when it arrived so that was not pleasant. The manager came out and apologized. The waiter then told us that the manager was providing four desserts at no charge, which was very nice, even though two of us would not have ordered dessert. We received our four choices of dessert and they were wonderful."

"A group of friends and I went here for my birthday dinner. We were seated promptly and then when we arrived at our seats, there was a designated seat for me, with a printed card that read "Happy Birthday ****". The center of the tables were also adorned with rose petals. The service was excellent. The waiter told us about the special dishes and was very attentive throughout the evening. They even gave me a complimentary dessert trio platter. Overall, I had a great experience! Would definitely recommend to others."

"It was pretty good but has been better in the past. Our waiter seemed to not know the menu very well. While we were eating, in between bites, he started describing the desserts. Obviously not the proper etiquette. I asks about wine, Reisling, his answer was they only had one by the glass. we wanted a bottle but he never asked, just assumed. The food was good though."
