"Delicious pizza! Waiter was very friendly but was noticeably ticked when we only ordered water. We do not drink and did not want any alcoholic drinks so water is what we do.
I just felt like after that we got more attitude than we normally would have."

Review 3 for Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill, Blue Mountain
"I am not usually one to complain about service or about much, but I feel very strongly about being let down this year for this day. I have to say that my last visit, in my opinion, was more than a disappointment. My other observation was that even the serving plates that were out were few and far between. On Previous years the buffet is plentiful with a wide variety of choice. The empty plates were eventually replenished, however in the mean time we went over to what was the Roast beef station. To my unfortunate surprise for all of my guests there was NO roast beef at the roast beef station.
I found the rest of the hot food section less than astounding."

"The only thing I would comment on was the special for Friday evening - Perch. I know perch is small but two small pieces were not enough. More perch and less shrimp would be good! Otherwise excellent!"

Review 6 for Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill, Blue Mountain
"We consider O&B to be our favourite restaurant in the area, but it will probably be a while before we head back, if we even decide to. We live in the area and dine out frequently to entertain family & company or just for an evening out. We were disappointed in some of the changes to the menu. The Japanese Caesar is a great loss and the chicken caesar that replaces it seems to be made with Renee's dressing. The bacon is great though. The New York Strip Loin was a great disappointment, with burnt bernaise or whatever the sauce was supposed to be. It completely ruined the taste of the steak. The potatoe choice was poor and serving size very small. The spinach souffle may be an aquired taste."

Review 8 for Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill, Blue Mountain
"We went after a day at the Scandanavian Spa , totally relaxed and looking forward to a great dinner . Our server was very good but unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. The caesar salad was not bad , the best part being the house made maple glazed bacon but overly dressed. Our main courses were short ribs and a shrimp linguine - the pasta was cooked well and had lots of shrimp but nothing outstanding about it . The short ribs were unfortuneately over salted and this took away from the full flavour of the meat. Dessert was creme brulee and for the price , way too small but tasty. Over all, a beautiful restaurant with fireplace in the middle and a lovely view but the food just did not live up to its reputation."

"We had an excellent experience. One member of our group has many food allergies and the kitchen was able to accommodate. The service was very professional and helpful. Our meals were delicious."

"Menu was aweful. Very little selection and couldnt figure out what the theme was; canadian, italian, indian. The restaurant is too loud and tables are setup everywhere giving very little privacy for a quiet evening."

Review 14 for Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill, Blue Mountain
"I ordered the strip loin, med rare. Steak was charred well done. They took it back while my husband (Anniversary dinner) ate his dinner and they rushed through another steak. The second steak was also not cooked properly and had no sear and not the pink a med rare steak should have. At this point I was not going to send it back again as my husband was almost done his dinner. Honestly I would think Oliver & Bonacini chefs would know how to cook a steak I was very disappointed. They didn't even compensate us in any way..I won't be going there for steak again."

"First time there service was totally messed up as staff assigned was reassigned. By time they figured out we had been waiting forever. They were apoplectic at their error and wrote off the meal and good bottle of wine. This time service perfect and food excellent, though the menu is eclectic to fit varied tastes of ski crowd."

Review 20 for Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill, Blue Mountain
"This was our first overnight date and meal out together alone in over 8 months since the birth of our daughter... we had high expectations.
The food was well put together and plated excellent. I had the beef short ribs and the only fault was the potatoes were a bit cold. A little more au jus would make the ribs that much better. It was lightly drizzled, but a dash more would have made it over the top. The portion sizes are excellent making it great value.
Sharing an appie, main and dessert nearly burst my belt!
Excellent and would recommend."

"The food is amazing but the service is outstanding!!!
We visit once a year when our family stays at Club Intrawest and we are never disappointed. Great atmosphere! The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. We asked for our favourite server again is year and were very happy to see him.
I would suggest this location to anyone that is staying in the Village. We will definitely be back next visit, it's a shame we only get up the Blue once a year."

"Service was excellent, but was let down by the standard of the food. Although the food was cooked as ordered, most of it was so excessively salted the flavour of the strip loin had been completely masked and the polenta fries were inedible."

Review 30 for Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill, Blue Mountain
"We've enjoyed this spot a few times on our trips to Blue for skiing and were pleased that the service and food are still very good. My only complaint was the Lamb Tagine was so salty I almost couldn't eat it. I was told the chef said "it is supposed to be that way" but having eaten in a few Moroccan restaurants, I disagree. I should have sent it back but didn't want to wait for another meal so they brought me more of the yogurt sauce to mix in which made it mostly palatable. My server agreed that she had found that dish salty in the past - perhaps the chef should listen to the feedback and allow the seasonings to take the lead and the salt to take a backseat. Despite that one disappointment, I would still recommend this restaurant."

"With every stay, the overall experience and satisfaction is decreasing. Kitchen needs to do a better job and be more consistent with ingredients and sizes of the plates.
Waitresses are still very nice and very helpful."

"A beautiful spot at Blue Mountain to grab drinks and/or something to eat. We've been before and each time have had reservations. When we arrive, there is no waiting as tables are prepped and ready. The menu is great and food is delicious!"

"This used to be a great restaurant but the food has gone down hill. No longer a great dining experience. My husband had the ribs and they were horrendous, they did not charge us for them tho which was nice. I had the lamb tangine, again not very good. They need to re do their menu. I keep giving this place a try but I am done, not going back."
