"Our server was wonderful! The food was excellent! We attended their Mother's Day brunch and needless to say, all the mothers were very happy with the restaurant and their choice of food. "A very upscale restaurant that is sharp and inviting. the service staff where great and the food was well prepared. We ordered appetizers that included some very flavorful crab cakes, though the calamari in the spiced red peppers were over fried and rubbery. I had the aged New York Strip which was cooked medium and to perfection. I the ambience was perfect for our party of 6 and the way the restaurant is set up you can do either a large group or a quaint dinner for 2 and still come away with a great dining experience. Pricey "$$$$" yet you get what you pay for. A great meal and service."

"My wife and I drive over two hours one way just to visit this restaurant from Hilton Head Island SC at least once every other month. I would say this was the most disappointing experience we have ever had at this restaurant. This was always a can't miss place however the quality of food and preparation was so below standard it is beyond words. For a restaurant of this level to have a signature chop salad missing 3 ingredients is inexcusable. Steak was over cooked and everything else was not even worthy of criticism. Will not write this place off yet but will have to be in Jacksonville before we give another shot. Last time we take a drive just for a meal at the Capital Grille."

"We celebrated my husband's 30th birthday recently at The Capital Grille. I booked the reservation online. When I made the reservation, I put in the little "special request" box that it was my husband's birthday. When we got there, we only had to wait maybe 2 or 3 minutes to be seated because they were getting our table ready. When we finally got to our table, they had decorated it with little birthday confetti and there was a birthday card on the table as well.
Our experience was amazing. Wonderful food, waitress was fantastic. Will definitely be coming back for our anniversary in a few months.

"We were looking forward to a romantic evening. The table next to us had one man and five women. There were incredibly loud, obnoxious, and potty mouthed. We could not help but hear things like their talk of what went on in the women's room. They were so loud we couldn't even hear the waitress when she was talking at our table. "Capital Grille is a fantastic restaurant. Their service and food selection is second to none. I found the one in Jacksonville to be just as impressive as the ones I frequent in Boston. I know I can rely on great food and service at any of their locations. Excellent as always!"

"This is a restaurant for special occasions. Had a great meal with friends who were leaving town. The food was above average but not excellent. The lobster was a little overcooked. The wine list is excellent with a broad range of very good choices for reasonable costs. I've had better meals there, but some worse. Overall a very good high-end night out but on the expensive side."

"Our Party of 3 arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation expecting to sit in the bar area. Instead, they seated us immediately. Service was knowledgable, attentive, and displayed extraordinary teamwork. The steaks (tenderloin/poached lobster, porterhouse, slice filet w/onions/mushrooms were perfectly cooked. Yes, it's expensive, but worth every penny. Highly Recommend!"

"Both steak and seafood lovers have great choices here, special preparation and careful detail to satisfy. Special Occasions are done better here than any restaurant in Jacksonville. We were treated to Birthday champagne and dessert. The staff is above and beyond in their ability to satisfy special requests. Our guests were first timers and were very pleasantly surprized. I can not wait to go back - even if it is not a special occasion."

"Me and my wife enjoyed our dinner,our waitress was on top of her game. She came checked on us to see if need anything,explained the meals as if she was dining with us. Kept us entertain with her jokes. I will be coming back hope that I get the same service that got there."

"I was so impressed with all of the things that the staff did for my birthday. In fact, I was truly amazed. I don't want to spoil the surprise for someone else, so I won't say what was done. The steak was fabulous (oscar filet), the salad was fabulous, the side order was fabulous, the wine was fabulous, and our waitperson was super fantastic. A memorable evening."
