"We stopped in for the first time with an out-of-town guest. Service was very good. The wine list comes on an iPad. Very good food, portioned in the right amount to not over stuff a person. Fish was fresh tasting ond the fillet our guest had looked very good too. A nice desert finished the night off."

"We went for our anniversary dinner and said as much when making the reservations - great decision! We were treated to a decorated table, complimentary champagne, a great dinner (black cod - delicious) and a fabulous complimentary dessert. The vibe is a little more business than romantic, think men in suits at a lodge, but that didn't matter because the food and service were perfect!"

"Quiche was only lukewarm and too "bready" for my taste. Top and bottom crust. But they were nice about substituting a small beet salad for the standard green salad at no charge. I had been here before for dinner and liked it. May have been a bad day. It was Mothers Day so they might have been overwhelmed. No excuse though."

"We had high hopes for a nice Mother's Day brunch, but, it was not to be. Our waiter was clearly overwhelmed. We had to ask for coffee several times. He brought our soup with no spoons. He got one of our orders completely wrong. Nice enough guy. Not very good. Food was fair, I guess. My frittata was cold and flavorless. Should have gotten the fried chicken."

"The service was impeccable, and food was simply fabulous. I can't say enough about the customer service that started and ended with the valet parking. Everyone in between was focused and interested in making us comfortable ensuring all our needs and wants were met. "The food was noticeably off Sunday night. My friend's mussels were so small she couldn't pull anything out of the shell with the small fork; she sent them back to the kitchen, where they should have remained in the first place. My whole grilled fish had absolutely no taste, though the slaw served with it was good. Maybe I could have just ordered and paid for the slaw. The last time I had the grilled fish it was excellent. Such a disappointment. We won't be back for a while. I had planned to take out of town business guests there in two weeks but have now made other plans."

"It is the impeccable service that brings us back over and over again. Our friends arrived first, and we were shown to the patio to join them. When the table was ready they came to get us, we didn't have to go ask, or worse yet get forgotten a la Ray's on the River. I love that you can converse even though the room is crowded (good - I want them to succeed!). The menu is varied, the wine was delightfully chilled. The small bite dessert is really clever, and tasty. This is the type of dependable restaurant that you know you can trust. European foodies may require more in flavor but for me it has to be an overall experience and we will return, with guests and friends."

"The food was nothing special and a limitied menu. Basic food, side items overcooked,nothing special to make me want to come back. My son was visiting from out of town and tried to find someplace nice. Blue Ridge Grill was a let down and the wrong place."

"I invited a friend to celebrate her birthday at lunch. We were treated like rock stars and loved every minute of it! Thanks for a great experience - excellent food (lobster salad) and service. Everyone called me by name once I checked in (and no one referred to us as "you guys!")."

"I have been dining at BRG for years and it is a steady performer. Great ambiance, comfortable bar area for a pre-dinner drink and the menu has something for everyone and it is all good. Be sure to save room for dessert!"

"I have eaten here several times and usually been very pleased. However, yesterday I took an old friend to lunch here (who lives out of town) and the food was very mediocre and EXTREMELY overpriced! Our soup was cold and we each had a salad that was lack-luster. Plus, the chicken that I added to my salad (for a small fortune) was tough and flavorless -- 2 salads, 2 iced teas and we split a soup and it was $80! Not going back anytime soon."
