"went for anniversary. this place is very classy and comfortable. i would go back to celebrate again or just go to have the pizza. the atmosphere wasnt loud but not tomb quiet either. i had the special which was very good. by the way, have dessert. they have a fudge brownie wrapped in filo dough that is a must try!"

"We arrived 10 minutes early for our 8pm reservation & weren't seated until 8:30, and only then because we agreed to sit out on the patio, knowing there were heaters out there. Only two of the six or so heaters had fuel, though and we were seated as far from them as we could be. While we were eating, the kitchen staff started dumping warming pans out onto the walk a few feet from us. The food was good, but not great. The staff was juvenile in their handling of our situation. We witnessed several other guests leave who had earlier reservations and the hosts seemed happy (smirks on one young man's face) that they had fewer guests to juggle. The experience was very unprofessional, and I'm quite surprised their usual clientele puts up with it..."

"We were given a comfortable booth that made talking to each other very easy. No one was isolated on one end of the table. The soup and sandwich or salad choice was a bargain as well as good. We were greeted warmly and sent off warmly. We will continue having meetings and lunches at YiaYia's."

"Food quality and presentation were poor. The lamb was not cooked as asked, especially since I specifically emphasized it on account of it being improperly prepared on our last visit. They did bring another entree and did not charge me for it but , of course, I had to wait another 30 minutes while my partner ate her dish. I will probably not return or at least not order rack of lamb."

"My wife had been here many times but it was my first visit and I was very impressed. After a little mixup with the seating for our reservation, the service was excellent. "Awesome food, but really sketchy service. My wife and I ate there with our two teenage kids. The waiter took a drink order from my wife and I, but never offered anything to our kids. Once he took our food order, he was no were to be found. Three dinners came out via a food runner, then later the fourth appeared. The waiter finally did check back, my wife asked for another glass of wine, which never came, but was put on the bill. We had to track down a manager to get our check."

"I had the new short rib dish, which not only had great flavor but a bit of an unexpected kick (in a good way). The main reason for just a 'good' rating: this was a special dinner, with my boys both turning 21 (we celebrated their triplet sister's birthday with dinner Friday night in the different city where she goes to school). One son in particular wants a steak that is not a filet; we reviewed the menu from 5 different restaurants and chose Yia Yia's because of the skirt steak. The one dish they were out of? You guessed it! However, the manager has contacted me, and it's all going to be OK!"

"We love Yia-Yia's, and we were there on a busy Wednesday, the day before Valentine's. The place was packed and the staff was stretched. Our entree came out a little slower than usual, but not distressingly late - it was a special night. The manager gave us a free drink, and she did not have to, because we were not upset. But, Yia-Yias' people, like the food and atmosphere, is first class."

"We have been to YiaYia's several times, and we keep coming back; we love the food, we love the service. Our kids join us sometimes and they have a fantastic kid's menu, even offering a small filet, which my daughter LOVES. Cocktails are fantastic. I've never had a bad meal here!"

"Has been a favorite for years. Some confusion with hostess staff, but was seated relatively quick thanks to reservation. Waitress was rushed and sloppy. Ceasar salad was horrible but food was redeemed with main entree, which was the fish special of the day. Husband's steak was perfectly cooked. Have always loved the interior. NIce selection of wines."
