Fume Bistro & Bar
Fume Bistro is a locals neighborhood restaurant, nestled north of downtown Napa, off of HWY 29. We are an American bistro with French, Italian and Mediterranean influences. We like to call our food simple, honest and seasonally correct. To accompany the food, we offer an eclectic wine list which is primarily, but not limited to California wines. Comfortable, friendly service. Attention to detail. Terrific food in a great atmosphere. Come on in, let's eat!
Please note that our patio is open all year and super 'dog friendly' during lunch and brunch hours - during dinner in the colder months we enclose the patio and it's considered part of the dining room. "Open table billed this restaurant as having a brunch. It actually turned out to be a combination of breakfast and lunch ordered off the menu. We were expecting a brunch, but that was only a minor surprise. The food was excellent and the service was very good. The restaurant does have a patio for outdoor dining. We want to try it for dinner to see if the experience is as good for dinner as it was for brunch."

"I wanted to have a salad for dinner, but with the addition of salmon. Nothing like that was on the menu. There was a pricey salmon entree and the salads sounded good but were meatless. So I told the waitress what I wanted and she said, "No problem, we do that all the time." So I got what I wanted and the charge for the added salmon was very reasonable. The glass of wine was also a good size serving. That's the kind of attitude and service that makes me want to return."

"We went with a group of six. We were sat in the dining room at two tables put together, it was a little cramped. They seated us 30 minutes late however it is a smaller sized restaurant and the hostess sent over apps to make up for the delay, it worked! The food was amazing; I had the short ribs and risotto. Everyone's dish was delicious! Overall I would recommend to anyone."

The meal had all the great amenities with some bread and water beforehand which is hard to come by in a lot of so-called haute cuisine places in Napa these days. "The only downside to our meal was being seated right next to another couple (so close that it seemed like we were at the same table). The restaurant was empty when we came in, so that was a bit frustrating for us to have to be put so close to them.
Food and drinks were fantastic!"

"Highly recommended! Went here for Valentine's Day and we were pleasantly surprised! We had never eaten here before and the food was perfect. We ordered the calamari appetizer, pear salad, duck breast entree and penne & wood fired chicken entree and everything was flawless. Our desserts were equally perfect. Pair the great food with their top-notch service and we had a great date night. The have a bar as well as outdoor seating, so this place serves as a great spot no matter the occasion."

"There were a few large groups there for birthday parties so it was rather loud but still a nice experience. We were told that because we reserved online that we would not be seated in the main part of the restaurant but would automatically be seated in the deck area which is enclosed and had space heaters. We could have waited for something available inside but it was fine in the deck area. Food was amazing and we really appreciated not being charged a corkage fee. I would also like to say that every local we asked about this place gave the same glowing recommendation and the food certainly did not disappoint!"

"The food was excellent. The only negative, which suprised me, was that we were there for a birthday and the resturant and server were aware of that. When I asked the server what they did for the birthday guest, he said they would put a candle in whatever dessert we ordered (and paid for). This really put me off. I would not want the server again, though I would go to Fume again."

"I always have a great experience when I go to Fume. Great for drinks and apps with friends on the patio, or an intimate dinner. Food is always delicious. I always want to order what I've had before and loved, but force myself to try something new most of the time and am always pleased. Service is always top notch. Friendly staff."
