Nada
Nada is a contemporary Mexican restaurant in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. Located on the corner of 6th and Walnut, we are right next to the Aronoff and across from the CAC, perfect for both pre and post theatre. Nada is open for lunch five days a week, brunch on Saturday & Sunday, and dinner every night. Nada features one of downtown Cincinnati's best patios during the summer months. Inside the restaurant, you will be part of Nada's inspired and spirited design, expert service, and chef-driven cuisine. It's an experience unto itself in Cincinnati. "If you're looking for burritos and chimichangas, this isn't where you want to go. The menu has much more interesting and unusual fare. My fresh red fish was well prepared and delicious. My dining mates all ordered tacos of various kinds, but these are not like the hard shell Taco Bell type tacos. They came with a plate of meat, fish, or chicken and interesting veggies piled on small soft tortillas. Very good. Try the sangria."

"As usual, the food was fantastic. I've gone to Nada for lunch countless times, but their brunch was simply amazing. The French toast tasted almost almondy. Light, fluffy and fantastic.
The brunch enchiladas were spicy, yet not overpowering and the chorizo egg tacos were divine.
Will definitely be back."

"I have had several good experiences at Nada but Father's Day brunch was a disappointment. The food was excellent but our service was horrible! Our server was slow, he did not know the food options for children, and he was not helpful. While we sat with empty beverages or while we waited for quite a while for our check, he was socializing a few feet away. The other servers had the audacity to get out the noisy electric vacuum to sweep the floors while we were eating. In all fairness, he was friendly with a warm smile. Also, my mojito was not very good."

"Although this is a popular and trendy place in Cincinnati I would not recommend it....I have been there twice in the last 2 months and both times the service was terrible. We waited an incredibly long time for the food to arrive.The entrees were good but definitely not worth the wait. The ambience is quite loud thus making it difficult to talk with your party.The staff is friendly but again that does not make up for the delay in receiving your food."

"Dined at Nada last weekend.
Taste of Cincy was bustling and the need for a real meal was calling. Was seated immediately but was juggled between a waiter/waitress and neither could get in sync.
There was also a Reds game that had just let out and they came in true drunken stampede style. Moving tables around for themselves, walking up and plopping down at random locations.
The food finally arrived and it more than made up for the wait/rowdy guests! The Nadarita hit the spot and cooled me from the heat. Overall I will definitely be returning to enjoy this cuisine."

"My favorite things about dinner at Nada are the margaritas and the guacamole appetizer. My fish tacos were okay, not the best I've ever had, but good enough to order them again. What really would bring me back is the Prickly Pear Margarita. This was my third visit and I like to come here when I'm in town for business. I would recommend as a good happy hour meeting place.
The only negative about this experience was the service. We were seated upstairs and I'm not sure about the staff/table ratio, but definitely felt neglected as I sat with an empty water glass for most of the dinner. Waiter was not even around for me to prompt about the water."

"This meal was our third experience at Nada. Our server was attentive...but not invasive. He was sure to see that our meal was served in a timely manner. It was not a rushed feeling...even though we told him that we needed to finished in one-and-a-half hours...we had a show to attend that Thursday evening at 7:30 PM.
The staff and floor manager spoke to us as we ate. They were helpful and aware that the quality of service and presentation of the meal was meeting our expectations. We were not disappointed!
All courses of the meal were served smoothly and in the proper sequence, from the guacamole appetizer (a repeat order) to the flan and cake desserts... Plan on attending here with an appetite!
We will be back!!!"

"We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and wanted a place downtown that was new to us. Nada fit the bill. The staff were very helpful. We were early, and so we went upstairs and indulged in Happy Hour, before coming down to be seated at our table.
Service was wonderful, and the food... All of the appetizers were great especially the Short Rib Sopa, and the Seviche. Loved the entrees too, especially the Pork Carnita Enchiladas. Only downside was we were just too full for dessert, though they sounded wonderful. And as we were leaving the MD wished us a Happy Anniversary, which I thought was a nice touch.

"I've dined at Nada a handful of times now and have always had great food, great service, and a great time. On occasion I've come in for just drinks and chips which is also a fantastic option. The bar area is a little snug depending on the time and day, but the sangria and margaritas are worth it. It's probably best to make a reservation for dining as the restaurant is popular due to its outstanding reputation."

"We had 9 people in our party and we were going to a concert at 8. The service was great. No problem getting everyone taken care of. We also didn't feel rushed. The only weird thing is that when confirming the reservation I was told that we would need to leave by 7:00 pm to make way for more reserved tables. Never had that said before and it took away from the wonderful service we were given by the rest of the wait staff. I would still recommend it even with that."

"We celebrated my birthday at nada. Drinks were pricey and just average. Food was good but bland for being Mexican. It did seem to be "the place to be"."

"used to be our favorite place until last 2 visits. getting drenched by the absent-minded young man pouring water isn't my idea of date night, particularly when it isn't accompanied by either an acknowledgement or apology. had issues last 2 visits with order being correct and the waiter dashed away too fast to even correct it. table next to us had same issue and I felt badly because the young woman was celebrating her birthday. granted, my husband and I aren't the beautiful scantily-clad 20-somethings that seem to be the mainstay of nada, but we are fairly affluent and love great dining -- just hasn't been our recent experiences at nada. guess we'll start looking for a place that likes middle-aged people like ourselves."

"My fiancé and I love to go here as much as we can. However, out waiter was about as bad as I have ever had. He disappeared for 20 minutes after bringing us our drinks. It just seemed like everytime we needed him, he was no where to be found for at least 5 mins. We would still go back because the food is so good."

"A group of six went to dinner prior to seeing a show. Good mexcian fare, margaritas above par, right next door to the Aronoff Center. A little noisy, but tolerable, and service was excellent."

"I am torn on my review of Nada. The food was good, however some items seemed overpriced. I enjoyed my experience, but could have had an equally enjoyable experience at Bakersfield or Tacocracy for a lot less money. With that said, it was a special occasion, therefore I was happy to spend more than usual. Our server was outstanding and very energetic. Also, the pink grapefruit margarita was divine.
Unfortunately, Nada will not be on my list of favorites, but I would not grumble if a group wanted to venture there again. I will just have to sit on the fence for this one."

"The food was exceptional. as it usually is. The music was very loud this time, which not only made it hard to have a conversation. But I could not even hear the waiter. The service this time was sub standard. But I will not hold it against the restaurant because last time the service was exceptional. It was just that this waiter was so slow. I would definitely return."

"It was the first time I had tried Nada for brunch, and who would've thought that a Mexican place could have such yummy morning food. It was delicious. My girlfriend and I went for a birthday brunch, and the server was so kind to bring out a plate of delicious fried dough dipped in cinnamon sugar. There was even a candle. So nice!"

"At least once a year we travel to Cincinnati and have dinner at Nada. As usual, they do a wonderful job of taking care of my gluten free family. It is not often that we are able to get chips and salsa and be assured that they are gluten free. In fact the rest of the party actually preferred the GF chips. Food was delicious and service was awesome! He added to the evening being a success."
