"One Eleven Main was a great surprise! From the brickwork decoration to the interesting framed artwork in the dining room, the restaurant exuded a simple, yet elegant atmosphere. We came for our anniversary dinner during our vacation in Galena and had a wonderful time. We ordered the beer cheese fondue which we wish we can bring home! My beef pot roast just melted in my mouth and my husband ordered the ny strip which was excellent as well. Our server was amazing and handled the entire restaurant but was attentive to everyone! How he managed- we don't know! One Eleven Main was a great find and we will definitely come again."

"Our experience at One Eleven was fabulous! The menu has a lot of variety which was great as we had a teenager and a 8 year old with us. Our server was very attentive and provided some great suggestions for our dinning experience. The food was fabulous and everyone in our group was very impressed. We loved everything and will definitely dine at One Eleven again!"

"Always great food with very friendly, efficient staff. Each time I've eaten there I've had a fantastic meal and relaxing time with friends. There are so many dining choices in Galena and we've tried most of them, but we keep coming back to 111 Main. The special seasonal menu is worth the drive each spring through autumn!"

"This is one our favorite's in Galena. The staff is very helpful and good. The food and wine is excellent. It tends to be a little noisy, but not a deal breaker. We have been going to 111 since the first year it opened and it has maintained a high rating with us ever since. We will be back."

"It was a great meal. The only thing that was upsetting was a $15.00 Cork fee to open and serve a $10 bottle of wine my wife and I brought with for her birthday dinner. I thought that was too much for this service. They might want to reconsider that fee. Everything else was great."

"Our server Jake was very pleasant, but it did take us an hour to have food served. We had said we weren't in a rush, but the house didn't seem so busy as to have needed that much time. Once the food arrived, it was absolutely delicious and plentiful. And to their credit, the salads were upgraded for the delay."

"The trout appetizer was very good. The gluten free entrees were disappointing. I recommend not getting the walleye. It was fishy and dry. Service was acceptable, but I think they wanted us out of there quickly. Not the romantic evening I had hoped for."

Several of us had the duck and the walleye, both were outstanding!
The restaurant is in an old building with the original exposed brick walls and is rather skinny. We sat in the back but if you are making your reservations online request the tables closer to the front, it's a nicer view."
