"We have enjoyed dinner here on 2 special occasions. Knowing that Mother's Day is always crowded, we had drinks at the bar prior to being seated for dinner, so the delay didn't bother us. Had a view of the harbor while seated at the bar! We'll definitely return for another great meal!"

"I splurged for Mother's Day and took my Mom for lunch..I have very little money and have never spent so much for a dinner in my life. My Mom is 78 and I wanted her to experience "fine dining" just one time in her life. I was disappointed from start to finish..Our waitress had no personality and came over once to check on our meals and it was at the point when we were finishing up..the filet mignon was nothing special..the whole meal was just o.k. I am sorry I spent so much money at Morton's as I will not be able to spend like that again."

"I brought friends to celebrate my godson's graduation and it was the perfect place for a special occasion. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They even printed a commemorative menu for all of us, noting the date and the graduate. As for the food, the steaks melt in your mouth. Large steak knives are provided, but you can cut the filet with a fork! We started with a hot seafood appetizer to share that included oyster rockefeller, scallop wrapped in bacon, lump crab cake, and shrimp jasper alexander. The crab cake was pure crab, with just enough filler to hold the mound of crab together. Everything about the meal was superb - pricey, but superb! Looking forward to my next visit."

"Dined on Saturday for a birthday celebration and enjoyed an outstanding evening. The food, wine,bartenders, waitstaff and manager all made the occasion an exceptional one and this restaurant is now on our list to revisit. The bar has a great vibe and the restaurant is equipped with good acoustics because even though there was a lot of energy moving throughout the room, you could still hear the conversations at the table without straining. That's a big plus!"

"I got together with a group of old friends as a sort of mini reunion. The noise level was good, as we definitely wanted to talk and catch up. There was good energy, and the dining room was very busy, but not too loud. The food was fantastic. We got a shared platter of cooked seafood. Everyone enjoyed it. The wine selection was very good, and the steaks and sides were perfect. Everything was cooked as orderd. Desert and coffee followed, and the entire group was full and satisfied. The service was very good and attentive. My only reason for giving a 4 vs a 5, is that I'm not the kind of patron who likes waiters to be "too" familiar (like we are old friends or something). The guy was fine, but more reserved would have been better."

"Excellent steaks. The filet mignon and center cut bone in rib eye were cooked to perfection. The carrot cake was moist and sinfully delicious as was the lemon souffle (very light). If you're looking for a quiet spot, do not go on a Saturday night. The dining room was packed and very loud."

"The ambiance of Mortons was very nice. My partner enjoyed the lamb chops said they were excellant. I did not nejoy the halibut as it was overcooked and very dry. Vegetables were good but the presentation of the Lyonaisse potatoes was not good and they tasted just ok. I thought the food was very pricey for such inconsistencies not sure I would return again.

"I'll start by saying the services were and always are excellent, I have been here numerous times , business & pleasure. Our waiter was very informative and friendly, appetizers and sides were very good.On to the main course my wife got the 8 oz. Filet, the presentation was absent, lacking anything to say wow that looks good.(It looked like a small float lost in the ocean with nothing around to grasp on to. I had the Sea bass which I had one other time here, so it was good enough to reorder. As the waiter placed my order in front of me, my wife said what I was thinking, wow that smells a little fishy, but I said to her its fine. It wasn't , I grin & beared. We appreciated the picture and desert, but were there for main course."

"We went to Morton's for my boyfriend's birthday, and it was amazing!! Not only did they email and call to confirm our reservation, but because I made a note that it was his birthday, they customized the menu to say "Happy Birthday Charles!". In addition, they were very attentive, helpful, and accommodating. Dinner was cooked exactly to our liking, and they also gave us a complimentary soufflé to celebrate his birthday!! Well done Morton's! We will be back next year!! It was well worth the extra money to be so well taken care of! Thank you!!"

"6 of us for dinner, 3 ordered the $57 strip steak, cooked medium. All three steaks came out well done. Very disappointing since we spent over $850 not including tip between bar and dinner. two of us didn't even finish the steak as it was too tough."

"My husband and I have been to Morton's quite a few times and have always enjoyed it thoroughly. Our recent trip was disappointing. We went for restaurant week. The chowder was good. The filets were 6oz, although I think they were smaller. We got our choice of mashed potatoes OR broccoli. We figured they'd be big enough to split so we could each have starch and veg. Not so much. The steaks were also overcooked. What a surprise. When I told the waitress she said she wished I had said something before we ate them (kind of snarky). That would've been tough as the steak was only 4 bites total. The manager offered us an afterdinner drink on the house. We declined."

"My expectations were far to high. I expected an elegant stakehouse with delicious food full of flavor. Unfortunately to my surprise the atmosphere was extremely stuffy and stale; the lighting made me feel tired and created an awkward and uncomfortable feel. The facility needs to be renovated and updated; my friend and I would have stated and enjoyed a few more glasses of wine had we felt comfortable. The food was alright, a tad sparce and leaving something to be desired for the prices we paid. I would not recommend the restaurant considering the overwhelming amount of delicious competition that surrounds the facility in the seaport location"

"This place is truly one of a kind. The menu is spectacular, and our server, Danielle, was a cut above. She was the perfect waitress: personable, witty, conscientious and extremely attentive of everyone. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu and honest about what was good vs. just okay.
My wife and I both ordered all the exact same things (signature salad, filet mignon, Chicago-style mashed potatoes, chocolate mousse), and we both loved everything. We also ordered the foie gras butter, which was delicious.
My wife also liked her cocktail, the secret garden, which was light, refreshing, and very sweet. Meanwhile, I loved the Matanzas Creek Merlot that our waitress recommended to us.
We can't wait to return to Morton's."

"Great visit over all. Went for Restaurant Week and I was very pleased with the visit. They have a couple options if you want to step up your order and still operate under RW mentality which was wonderful. Our server and the manager were fantastic. The time we were waiting in the bar was filled with wonderful chats with the bar staff. They all were wonderful and the food was perfect! Would love to go there again."

"Came here for restaurant week and it was amazing! I got the restaurant week seafood special (Huge ceasar salad, filet mingnon, bacon-wrapped scallops, creamed corn side & Morton's chocolate cake) all for $59. My boyfriend got the Blue Cheese/Almond salad (forget the name) and the Chicago steak. Everything was really great.
My only complaint is their wine is very expensive. The cheapest bottle of red was $45 (compared to $29 at Capital Grille with the same quality)."
