Welcome to Maggiano's Tampa, located on the corner of Westshore & Kennedy near the Westshore Plaza Mall. Our restaurant is convenient to the Port of Tampa & only 2 miles from the Tampa International Airport. Maggiano's 380 seat dining room is an ideal location for your dinner, baby shower, or important client meeting. Our fabulous patio has an old-world feel of dining on the bustling streets of Florence. Maggiano's specializes in serving lavish portions of authentic Italian-American cuisine served family-style. "I took my wife of 30 years and our daughter and her boy friend to Maggianos for Mothers Day dinner. I had reservations but kinda firgured with Mothers Day and the crowds, the reservation would most likely not result in a timely seating. To my surprise, I was wrong, we were seated within 2 minutes of arrival. Great service, and great food. Couldn't be happier."

"Ours was a party of 4 and we loved Maggiano's. The mussels we had for an appetizer were delicious; the Italian salad was fresh and plentiful and our meals were delicious. Our waiter was attentive. We will definitely return."

"We were not seated at our reserved time, but this could've been due to the fact that the restaurant was packed. When we were finally seated, Mickey, our waiter took our orders. The food took a little longer than usual to come from the kitchen. I asked the lady at the conceirge desk to please relay the message to our waiter that today was my mom's birthday and put in order for her a cheesecake with candles to be bought for dessert. At the halfway point of our meal, Mickey brought our take home orders. The dishes were not close properly and had spilled. We sent them back to the kitchen and asked for replacements. My mom received a piece of cheesecake, with candles, but she was not sung happy birthday by the staff."

"I loved the entire experience I had a party of 11 so the only thing I found very stressful was waiting for my table because the lobby area was not very comfortable for my 84 year old grandmother to stand, and my seven year old adventurous son to be next to a bar scene but overall I did really like the waiter. He was very fast, excellent communication skills, happy and very presentable."

"We reserved a table for Mother's Day. Since it was 11:15, it was pretty quiet. We still had to wait for about 10 minutes to be seated ... but no big deal. We enjoyed a couple of the classic pasta dishes - in which we got to take a dish home for free. That was real nice! My husband got a veal porterhouse. He said it was good as well. The server was also very nice and on top of things."

"We have eaten at the Magiannos in Atlanta many times before moving to Tampa. We found everything to be just fantastic, the food and the service. "My family went to Maggiano's to celebrate my graduation! The place was packed as it was a Friday night. Very noisy! Too noisy to really hold a conversation without having to yell. "We had reservations for 7PM but didn't arrive until almost 8PM because of multiple accidents on the bridge. We were greeted promptly and our table was ready for us even though we were so late. The food was exceptionally good, sauteed to perfection and the sauces were well prepared and tasty. The service was great also, even though the restaurant was rather busy, the timing of our order was precise. We drive over an hour to get to Maggiano's and everytime we have a great experience."

"We now have to travel 200 miles round trip to eat at Maggianos. This will be my last trip to your restaurant in Tampa. Service was lousy, food was cold. We were seated and then asked to move for another party, promised free drinks but were still charged and on top of everything else our dining experience lasted over 3 hours due to the poor service and waiting for our food. Get it together. Technically, I felt like they should have paid us to dine there after this experience."

"The food and waiter was great. But every time we have been to maggianos the wait time for seating is horrible and unfair. I had a reservation for 8 30, and arrived at 8. 8 30 rolled around and the hostess said we had one table ahead of us. After watching about 5 groups come im and be seated within 10 minutes of their arrival, i made the issue aware to the hostess. She then gave us a huge attitude."

"We had a reservation booked for 7:30p.m. and waited almost an hour. It was our Anniversary (12 yrs) and we requested to sit upstairs. We understand they cannot fill all upstairs requests but we thought since it was our Anniversary they would make an exception. When our table was ready, they put us at the worst table. Pretty much in back of the hostess people when you come in. We asked if we could wait for the upstairs but they said it wouldve been over a 30 minute wait or longer. We did not eat all our food or even touch our coffees we were so ready to get out from all the excessive noise around us. Food is great and waiter was very good."

"Maggiano's is always a good time. But I had never taken my child there. Always drinks and apps with friends. I made a reservation because you never know how a Friday night will be. I made it on the earlier side and made sure to be there on time. I asked for a booth away from the crowds as not to disturb anyone. They were very accomidating and got us situated quickly. Sarah our waitress was very friendly and prompt with our food and drinks. Everything was great. My only comment is that the bowtie pasta with veggies needs more sauce. It was a little bland and dry. Overall, 2 thumbs up."

"Our server was exceptional. She made some terrific recommendations for our dinner. Our table was directly in the path of dinners going to and from their tables. Although not very comfortable, it was great for people watching. Prices are reasonable. Very loud place. It was not disappointing however I don't think we will return."
