"I was at the restauarant a few years ago and thought to try it again. My party of seven was put in a high traffic area and the chairs were so tightly placed there wasn't room to maneuver without hitting the person behind you. I could also join the next table's conversation since we were so close. I will think twice about bringing people from out of town there again."

"Ate at Maggiano's on Friday night, the restaurant was crowded but did not feel like you were packed in because of the restaurant layout. The music was classic Italian music and at just the right level so that you were able to talk and be heard across the table. Our serve Lauren was great, she answered our questions with expertise and was spot on with her recommendations. The food was great, tasted fresh and authentic."

"My son took me to Maggiano's for Mother's Day on May 12, 2013. I ordered the Chicken Marsala with mashed potatoes. My son ordered the steak meddalions. When the food arrived, I proceeded to eat my dinner when I bit into a hard object. It was slightly smaller than a dime. The restaurant replaced my meal but because my son was done eating, I had my meal prepared "to go". The restaurant removed the cost of my meal only, I left hungry, and my son felt bad. We weren't even offered a dessert or brought another loaf of bread so I could have something to eat. We have had numerous occasions at Maggiano's but was extremely disappointed with this experience. The cook knew when his ladle broke but didn't take precautions to retrieve the pieces."

"It's always a pleasure to come back. Overall a good experience but a little over priced. The entree portions are a good size, salads are very good, but the value for the appetizers is my disappointment. $14.95 for two crab cakes is way over priced."

"Our evening at Maggiano's was delightful!
Each of the four of us ordered something different. I had the
Chicken Saltimbocca and it was absolutely outstanding! My only wish was that it would be on the list to get a second meal of this dish to take home.
Two people in our group were offered this opportunity and were truly amazed that it was presented to them.
Carlos, our server, was very welcoming and attentive, without being intrusive. His services to all of us were above par.
Overall, the experience was wonderful!"

"The food was very good as always. I was somewhat surprised that some of the expensive entrees did not include a salad. I believe the lunch portion of shrimp scampi was $15.95 without soup or salad. That is somewhat pricy.
I did appreciate that some pasta dishes included a take home extra entree. That makes those dishes very affordable.
Our waitress was outstanding. She was very friendly and helpful and yet professional."

"Yes, Maggiano's is a chain, but the feel is like a family Italian restaurant that serves good comfort food in large portions. I especially appreciated the service--it is the FIRST time a server asked me if I had any allergies AND the chef personally came out to discuss my order!! Great place for families."

"Maggiano's provided an "at-home" environment while still being a place to go for a high end date night. Our servers were attentative and friendly; providing positive feedback since this was our first time going to Maggiano's. The food was delicious and tasted like authentic Italian. Definitely worth the cost, especially considering I had enough to eat for lunch the next day. I look forward to going back and trying some of the other dishes!"

"Very romantic ambiance. I never leave hungry. The meal for two is great! My boyfriend and I always enjoy the crab cakes. He had crab cakes at maggianos for the first time and since then nothing has compared, they are to die for. I went there before on my birthday and ordered the veal which is a dinner item not included in the meal for two. It was also amazing and I have yet to have veal better than Maggianos! I never leave unhappy."

"I came for dinner with my friends last weekend. The chef comes to your table to take your order if you have any allergies to food (which I do). He also added a slice of flourless chocolate cake at no charge for my birthday! Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Everything is made from scratch, and it is delicious every time I go! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for service is because the waitress kept forgetting to bring stuff."

"The food was fantastic, and our waitress was wonderful. She went above and beyond for our son who is a VERY picky eater. We had a large group of us there, and we ordered family style so we got large portions of several items to share. Our waitress accommodated our son by getting him a special plate of plain chicken to eat. Although it was very loud, we had a very pleasant experience, and will defiantly return."

"We came for my Dad's 90th birthday. We were seated in a quieter area of the restaurant which was great for the birthday boy since he does not hear well at all. Seating was comfortable. Service was excellent and attentive but not pushy or rushed. Suggestions for featured items sounded yummy. Our dinners were hot, excellent and way more food than any of us could eat. Prices were very fair for what we ordered and for the amount of food that was served. We were able to slide some spumoni ice cream into the empty places in our stomachs for a refreshing dessert. They even treated my Dad to free dessert and cookies with a "90" candle on his ice cream. What a delightful addition for him.
We will definitely return to Maggiano's again."

"Our waitress was very bad. I think she had to many tables. Everytime we tried to order she said she would be back, but then arrived 10-15 mins later. Our food was good, but then when we tried paying for our bill that took 15mins and then they came back to our table to tell us that they forgot to charge us for our drinks. It took 30 mins for us finally leave. Very bad experience."

We had a negative experience with being seated. Our reservations were for 6:15 p.m. We arrived at 5:55 p.m. We were finally seated at 6:40 p.m. This happens every time we visit Maggiano's."

"When we made our reservations we didn't realize that the restaurant had a second level and no elevator access to the second floor. The restaurant had our table for 8 on the second floor. We had 3 people in our party that are not able to navigate stairs so our 6PM reservation became an as soon as possible waiting list. Seating in the waiting area is limited to tall chairs and that was not conducive to height challenged 80+ year old people.
On the plus side, once we made it known to management what we were running into they made every effort to rectify the situation and comped us a portion of our meal.
The food was excellent and the portions were such that we had another meal the day after. I would still recommend this restaurant."

"We've been there a few times now w/ the 'girls' from work and it's always a favorite. The portions are BIG..PLUS you take one home so it's enough food for you and/or a loved one for a couple of days! I loved the special where you get an appetizer or 2 salads, 2 classic pastas (plus you still get one to take home) and a dessert for less that $25 a piece..very good deal for your money and the food ROCKS~"

"Great server, Brian, was attentive and charming. He took care of every request in a timely fashion even though he had a large party nearby. We went with Marco's meal this time, trying the Stuffed Mushrooms, Spaghetti with Meatball and Eggplant Parmesan. All were fresh, hot and flavorful. We had Chocolate Zuccotto Cake, a must for any chocoholic. Additionally we chose Mom's Lasagna and Taylor Street Baked Ziti for our take-home meals. Lots of good quality food, reasonably priced. A relaxing, well-paced meal. We will be back."

"The food was delicious and plentiful. There were four in our party and all were satisfied. The service staff was very accomodating with the correct blend of attending to our needs but not hovering. We had a lovely evening there. My only criticism of the place is that it is very noisy but after awhile it just becomes background noise and we were able to converse."

"My husband likes your take one home for tomorrow menu. I had the shrimp and crab cannelloni. Both were Excellent. I had a nice glass of wine and my husband liked the choices of beers. Brian our waiter helped make the evening complete. He was attentive, funny and made the experience more enjoyable. We will go back. WE have already been there many times."

"Went on Easter with my elderly mother. Everyone went out of their way to make her lunch enjoyable. Waitress was busy but very attentive. Host escorted my Mother to the table and treated her with respect. Overall, great experience!"

"We've been going to Maggionos for years, the original in a class by itself, and the others for years to celebrate occasions as well as just a night out, and the Milwaukee location delivers what you'd expect: good Italian food, ambiance better than a chain and white table cloth service (their seems to be a "team" dedicated to your table).
Would recommend to anyone, will definetliney go again. Someone once told me that people don't go to McDonald's for the great food, but for the consistency of knowing a burger in Chicago will be just like the burger they had while in Florida, or wherever. Maggionos offers similar, upscale consistency."

"We have been fans of Maggiano's since our days living in Chicago. We were thrilled that a Maggiano's opened in Milwaukee as we transferred here in 1997. The food is always consistently good, and the service is friendly and helpful. Our two boys have embraced the food, especially our rather picky 11 year old. He loves the spaghetti and meatball!"
