"I made a reservation for 7:45 because of the rain and traffic I arrived at about 8:20. I did not receive a call about my reservation but when I got there the waiter told me she gave away my table and I had to wait an hour to be seated. That is unacceptable!!!!!! I went and ate at wasabi rest errant instead and don't like the way I was treated. I understand it was Mother's Day weekend and it was busy but that's no reason to be treated like that."

"Maggiano's has never disappointed Good quality food at a competitive price. Maggiano's always delivers excellent customer service from the reception desk to the well trained servers. We were served by a server named Goiyto who impressed us even considering the extra pressures of Mothers Day."

"The food was excellent and there was something for the whole family. My only complaint was that the service was a bit slow, perhaps due to it being packed for Mother's Day. We also had to ask for napkins as there were none on the table. I also felt they were a bit pricey. Overall, it was a good experience."

"There are very few chain restaurants that I love, but Maggiano's is one of them. The food is consistently excellent, as is the service. We had a group of 22 for Mother's Day. The service was just a smidge off, but very forgiveable considering it was Mother's Day."

"Normally Special occasion days are a madhouse at a rest. and while they were busy our server was still great and the food was delivered at the proper pace throughout the meal. However two things here were amiss. One the barware was cracked when one of our party received his drink and it looks like all the bar staff did was pour it in another glass. Second the cooks do not have a clue on what Medium consists of in a steak. Ours came out almost on the rare side of medium rare. The steak went back and came out perfect the second time."

"Our first visit there was on Mother's Day. That could have been why the service was a bit slow as they were pretty busy. My son got the veal parmesan which he said was pretty good. The spaghetti that came with it was ho-hum. My husband got eggplant parmesan and he says it was good. My flatbread was pretty light on the toppings and the flatbread itself was drab. We all got the chopped salad which didn't have everything in it that was listed on the menu. With the hustle and bustle around us (we were seated right near the front door), we thought that if we sent them back, it would be a long time before we saw them again. Overall, it was okay. We will try it again to see if it gets any better with less going on."

"Trying to find a place for a Mother's Day meal is always a challenge. I called the restaurant for a reservation and ended up in voice mail . Checked Open Table and got it! This restaurant was so prepared for the onslaught of this day. We had two young children and 6 adults they seated at a large round table, wow! Meal is always good and service was amazing considering the crowd. Much better than I expected based on previous year's at other restaurants. All I can say is if you want a good family meal on a busy day this place does it right. You won't be disappointed. Use Open Table and you will be sure to know your options and get what you want."

"I always enjoy dining at Maggiano’s. The family style dinner is the way to go if you have a large party and like to try a variety of foods at a great price. If you go, you must ask to sit in Rafael’s section! He is fantastic, attentive, keeps you smiling. I have a lot of family members in the restaurant industry and even they don’t get as big as a tip as I left him! Maggiano’s is a great way to catch up with family and friends!"

"Very loud--elderly person with us could not hear anything we said. There were lots of young kids running around.
Service was spotty, at best. Had to track down waiter when we needed him. Pepper mill on table was broken. Grated cheese not offered. Had to chase down and remind waiter to bring our "take home" entrees.

"Maggiano's looks and feels like what we all think of as an authentic old-time Italian restaurant in New York City. The food was very tasty, plentiful, and quick to arrive at the table. The service was excellent and our server was very attentive and friendly. We arrived at 6 PM for an early dinner and were seated immediately. Reservations are "a must". By the time we finished our meal and dessert, the place was packed and there was a sizeable waiting list of diners. The noise levels increased considerably as the tables filled up, but it never got to the point of being a major distraction. This is not a cuddly romantic place to dine. Prices are moderate and the "buy one - take home one" pasta deals makes the cost very reasonable."

"Booked a group reservation to celebrate my graduation. The hostess peronnel did not handle the reservation well by not texting us when our dinner table was ready and did not offer an apology for it. They did not seen to care. They also provided the wrong menu selections (which had been pre-selected in advance) to the waiter. However, upon expressing my concerns to the manager, they truly went above and beyond to please us. The food was amazing and all of our guests were impressed/amazed by the entire experience. They never knew about the mishaps that occured in the beginning. Overall, my recommendation would be that if you book a group reservation, make sure the hostesses do their job and are held accountable. Will go back :-D"

"Had a party of 9 celebrating a college graduation...because of that the restaurant was full which contributed to the noise level and the tables were very close together other than that everything was wonderful. Cannot recall when we had better food - did the family style and there was more than we could eat so we got to bring all the extra home which made us very happy! Service was excellent! Cannot wait to go back for more fabulous food!"

"This is officially me and my husband's favorite date night spot. When I discovered I had a gluten intolerance I was so sad to think I wouldn't have much, if any choice for meals. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that there are huge selections available. Just about everything except for the stuffed items (manicotti, lasagna, etc.) was pretty much gluten free. All their sauces are gluten-free. The pasta could be substituted for gluten-free pasta. I'm so glad to not have to give up my favorite date night spot with the hubby. :)"

"We were there on a Friday night and had a fairly new (we presumed) waitress, so our dinner turned into a three hour affair! We were okay with that though, as we were catching up with some relatives we had not seen in a while. The restaurant was crowded and a bit noisy, so conversation at a table for 4 was difficult early on. But, the food was delicious and we didn't mind the delays in service."
