"We went to Maggiano's for Mother's Day dinner. The food was really good and the service was great! Of course, it was a holiday, so it was very busy, crowded, and loud, but that's to be expected. Dessert was AMAZING! We got the cheesecake and the tiramisu, and they were both TO DIE FOR! We will definitely be going back on a regular night."

"This was a WONDERFUL place to celebrate Mothers Day with my kids and my mom. There was something on the menu for every one's taste. The food was delicious and moderately priced. Having the extra meal to take home topped it all off.

"Italian is my favorite cuisine. The menu is long, the food is good, and the portion sizes are beyond huge. Some entrees include a second serving to take home. Every entree that I've seen has been plenty for two meals and it's a wonder that the restaurant can sell any desserts.
The service was very good. Everything about the restaurant seems well practiced and efficient. I go to Maggiano's whenever I have the chance and take away plenty for a second meal the next day, too."

"This place is right where it belongs, crammed in a huge prefab faux Italian structure in the suburbs (or otherwise found in shopping Malls). I forgot how utterly 'average' this place is. It's for the masses who probably don't know any better.
Feels like pre-fab cafeteria food to me. The same base protein (e.g. a fried chicken cutlet, a fried veal cutlet, a sauteed chicken breast, etc) that is then simply covered in whatever style sauce is called-for (e.g. picatta, marsala, etc) maybe some cheese plopped on top...and done. Still does big portions, which based on the clientele is probably one of the big draws.
It is what it is of course. Really can't expect more."

"Our recent experience was overall very good. However, the restaurant decided to set a very large party consisting of approx. 30-40 people in the center of the dining room rather than one of the private rooms designed for large groups. This led to several members of the group standing in the aisles for long periods of time and talking over the entire room, I will think twice before going to this restaurant again despite the excellent food. ."

"When we arrived the restaurant was empty- which made sense because it was early and it was snowing outside. We were sat immediately which was nice but as we were seated in a dining room that was over 90% empty we were sat literally right next to another party. I said something and the host completely ignored it. I understand keeping people in sections for the servers, but the server could have walked an extra 3 feet so my wife's chair wasn't almost touching another person's chair at the table next to us. It was ridiculous and the service here is always inconsistent, which is sad, because the food is great."

"Our family gathering was for my 60th birthday. One of the best family birthday gathering we've ever had. Plenty of food, awesome service, best waiter we have ever had .... I do mean Ever.... His name was Steve, friendly, kind, understanding, funny, knew the menu, fast service. When we go back we hope to get Steve has our waiter once again. He made us all feel welcomed and has if we were friends. The meals we picked from menu, we were also able to take home the left overs. All meals arrived at table all at the same time, hot and ready to eat. Everyone spoke highly of their meals.

"good food as always, unfortunately it is very noisy in all parts of the restaurant. We were seated in the quiet section with a window table near the Take-out and patio, I am so glad I asked for that booth since they were trying to seat us in the large open area table next to a pillar, but it was still noisy. THe bar is especially bad, a good quality building like that has to look at some technology to cut down the noise or absorb the noise."

"Great food. We always get the classic pastas and take one home. It's a great value. We had the Bowie aglio with ww pasta and chicken ( you can modify the dish how you like) Absolutely wonderful.
Only negative was it was a Sunday and very busy and quite loud. We've dined on other days and the noise level was better. Still pretty energetic all evenings, I wouldn't go for a romantic dinner."

"After serving at Maggiano's for 8 years, you would think she would know the menu by now. My server didn't know there was a choice of sauces on my pasta dish. Waited a while for bread and drink and found out why - she was taking order at another table. Brought my salad and dropped it off on the table on the side and walked away. Never checked back and never asked how my dinner was. Brought new iced tea, placed it next to empty iced tea glass and didn't remove empty glass. Placed my to-go food in a bag on the floor next to my chair without saying anything. I didn't even know it was there. I couldn't understand why she didn't place it on the table, there was plenty of room. She would be a better fit for a Sonic"

"Fantastic experience. Had flowers delivered. They kept them in the refrigerator until our arrival time. Then they had them on the table before we got there. The food was fantastic. The ambiance was great......somewhat dark and noisy, but the place was packed, what can you say..... Our waiter was fantastic. He made the experience a memorable one. Just watching the smiles one after another on my Sweethearts face made it the best date I've ever had. Kudos to Maggianos..........Thank you."

"What a fun place to get wine and deep-fried calamari at the bar before dinner while waiting for our table. Not a long wait either as we used Open Table to make reservations. We brought a friend who had never been there before and he had a great time. The dinners are delicious, and you can take home an extra pasta dinner per person at no extra cost. Waitresses were very polite and helpful as my husband wears hearing aids and has trouble with a lot of noise, so she put us in a table which was perfect. Fully packed on Saturday night but very friendly. Great family or guest place to eat and relax."

"Perhaps the first failing a restaurant can have is to mis-time the completion of the plates for a table. My plate had been under the heat lamp so long the mashed potatos had a hard, chewy shell and the meat had dried to near inedibility, former juices brown and hardened on the plate underneath. Was this a hard order? Not at all, three plates, one pasta, one chicken and all without substitutions or special instructions. Our waiter, Brad, we saw a sum total of three times - our food was served by someone I think they call a backer, someone who helps the server get the plates out all at once. While he was cordial and courteous, he seemed rushed. We all had lemonade or flavored tea, and the syrup was pooled on the bottom."
