Undici is the recreation of a Tuscan farmhouse. The stone, woods, plaster and tile are all reminiscent of an era passed. The cuisine consists of the freshest quality ingredients available at market. This allows us to change our menus daily to provide continuing freshness and change. The menu is truly rustic Italian. All of our pasta, including gnocchi and ravioli, are homemade daily using only Caputo Italian flour.
"The atmosphere is very subdued, giving the feeling of dining in a wine celler or rustic barn. We had table reservations, but elected to remain at the bar as out 2 bartenders, Tony and Mark, were so friendly. Their understanding of what we 2 foodies expected and knowledgeof the menu was outstanding and definately added to our great experience. I have to point out that the very good quality of the meats and produce would have been compromised with over seasoning, or being draped in sauce. I had the Venison chop- cooked to perfection, while my friend had the rabbit. No one was dissapointed. This is a definate regular stop for me now.One heads up while listed on Open Table NO points are allotted for dining.."

"My first time there. They make it out to be fine dining, but far from it. You can wear jeans. The food was just OK to good. Very expensive for just so, so food. I will say the wine list, and service was excellent. With so many places to go to in the Monmouth County, I don't see myself going back. The bar area did look like fun place for a drink."

"When I went on line I had requested a special desert for my wife for her birthday. First it never came as well as her desert was just place in front of her. Then after I complained they came out with another desert with a candle on it. Never an apology for this poor service. We will never go there again"

"Everyone wrote about how good the $17 small pan pizza was! It was burnt around the whole very wide crust! The server did not come back to ask us how it was! I was surprised and disappointed. I must say the antipasto was the best I ever had! I wish the service was better that night!"

"Undici's dining room was not at all busy when we visited on a rainy Tuesday evening. It was lovely to be there when its not loud! Interesting wine by the glass, very good Caesar salad, very good basic pastas, etc."

"I had a group of 7 and this was the only place available for lunch. We had a very good meal and everyone enjoyed it. I would say the only downside was that the interior is dark and since we were there on a sunny, spring day it was a little gloomy however we soon forgot about it when we had the great meal. There was something for everyone, including desert, and we had different food allergies in the group. I would go again."

"Thanks to Restaurant Week for introducing me to this charming spot. Food and wine were exceptional. I had the mussels and linguini bolognese....superb. We felt a little rushed at first but our waiter was just being attentive. Overall the service was very good. Wine list was a little overwhelming but the sommelier was very helpful in choosing a lovely bottle in our price range. Will definitely go back."

"Undici never disappoints. Whenever my family looks for a place to get together and celebrate, Undici is the place we go. The food is always incredible, as well as the service. I recommend this restaurant to more people than I can count!"

"We have been to this restaurant approximately four times in the last year and a half (only because it's not local for us.) After the first time, our server remembered us and greeted us warmly. After our subsequent visits, we were made to feel like honored guests who dine there regularly. It's a feeling I really can't describe. I only wish it were closer so that we could go more frequently. The food is outstanding, atmosphere is beautiful, and service is exceptional."

"As always, Undici is superb for dining at any time of the day/night. I was sorry to see one of my favorite dishes currently off the menu; however, the chef agreed to prepare it, since the ingredients were available at that time! Of course, it was fantastic. We are so fortunate to have such a 'gem' in our community."

"It was our first visit. Its reputation preceded. The experience was wonderful. Only drawbacks were noise level (high, especially on a week night)and price (high, even though the food was excellent). Will return on special occasions."

"This was the second time that my husband and I ate at Undici. We had such an incredible meal the first time we went, I knew that our special Valentine's dinner would be perfect at Undici--and it was! The Misto and Formaggi Antipasti appetizers are a great start. These should be enjoyed with wine! The wine list is overwhelming, but no worry, there is someone who walks around the restaurant to recommend wines! (Even if you aren't looking to buy a hundred dollar bottle, you will still be pleased with the less expensive options!) My husband thoroughly enjoyed the veal chop special and I melted when I had the gnocchi with braised oxtail entree. Lastly, you must order the very special dessert: Nutella pizza! It is unbelievable!"

"Undici is one of those rare places where the proprietor has captured the essence of a fine dining experience with the authenticity of the subject cuisine. In this case Italian at its finest. To mention the food is of the highest quality prepared to absolute perfection is truly an understatement. The atmosphere is perfectly romantic and traditionally rustic as the name implies. It's like having a superb dinner in a warm wine cellar iluminated by hints of sunset and moonlight. The servers are completely educated about the food and exceptionally knowledgeable of the vast selection of wine featuring various vintages and selections from all regions of Italy from the simple to the extraordinary. All who serve here are like family."

"Honestly wasnt blown away by this place. The food was good, the decor was beautiful, the bar seemed really nice. My mixed drink was great but we asked for one accomodation on the risotto that she was just like no sorry. Oh and this is not a place for couples! Its a group place. Everyone around us had large tables of after work people screaming drinking and the managers did nothing even though they noticed the lady next to us scream loudly on more than 1 occasion. The seasonal ravioli was good i loved it but my boyfriends braised pork shank couldve been alot better. The appetizer of meats and cheeses was delicious and i would expect bread to be warmed in a place like this but it was cold. The chickpeas they served with it was pretty nice."
