"Having never been to this restaurant before, we had just expected the average Italian-fare. We were all pleasantly surprised with the quality of our dishes. The portions were large, and very good. The dessert we had was so good, I'd go back just for it. And to top it off, if you order their classic dishes, you get an order of any of their classic dishes to take home!! Hello lunch the next day! My family and I all agreed that we would go back again. The service was also good. If you like pasta....you'll like Maggianos."

"The food and ambience was great, but the server did not pay much attention to us. One of our orders for the take home pasta was incorrect but we didn't bother to ask for a change because it was difficult to get the server to come back. It was a busy night, but some more service would have been appreciative."

"We came here with a group of 9 and did the family style dinner. We had an 8:15pm reservation and were seated at 8:35pm. I will dock the service one star because of that. I hadn't been here in a while and I think the food isn't as good as it used to be. The good: We loved the chopped salad, the bruschetta, and the chicken marsala. The bad: The chicken tortellini was bland and nobody ate much of it. The 4 cheese ravioli was just OK. Our servers did a nice job trying to fit everything on our table and kept our drinks full. They were friendly and attentive. The restaurant needs to take out some of the tables, they are way too close together."

"Maggiano's has what we consider the best deal in town if you choose to eat from to the classic pasta list. You just can't beat having a great pasta meal and then getting a second full meal to take home with you, all nicely packaged, well-priced, and ready to go at the end of your visit. Service is friendly, as well. We've recommended the restaurant to many friends. The only occasional downside is if you choose to go on a weekend night when they are particularly busy. It can get a bit loud and there is a lot of motion around you if you're not in a booth. Lunchtime and week nights are a better time to visit if you prefer things a bit quieter. Still, comfortable and a great value. Reservations are a great idea!"

"This was our fourth visit and we believe our best. We ate early so there wasn't that "rushed" feeling. The staff was rested and ready to go. We were told about the specials, suggestions were offered. Main course arrived in a timely manner after our salads, not in the middle.
The only thing we didn't care for was the "family style" dessert.

"I was disappointed in my dining experience on Easter Sunday. We ate early so it wasn't very crowded. Our waitress had a very large table going and then ours. She was very friendly and started out good. We asked her what she liked on the menu and then decided that we would each get the pasta dish that came with lobster , clams shrimp and mussels.
She did not tell us that it was served family style so we go 3 very huge bowls of the same entree delivered to our table. Had we been informed of this we would have tried a few different things. The food came out on time but was missing one key ingredient , the lobster. I asked her and she said it was shredded. I never found it and was not too happy but she was very busy so we just ate it."

"I took my wife out to Maggiano's in Bellevue for our 17th anniversary on the advice of a friend and I was not disappointed. Having lived in Napoli Italia for four years, I was hunting for a restaurant who served really great Italian food. Maggiano's is that place from the Tomato caprese and mussels appetizer and complimentary Spinach & Artichoke al Forno, and throughout the whole dinner the food tasted absolutely amazing, come hungry as the portions are very generous. Our host and the staff as a whole was fantastic very attentive and professional. I highly recommend Maggiano's to anybody looking for an exceptional Italian meal."

"read all reviews before selecting for easter dinner with the family -- many reviews were critical of the service - i felt "management would have responded" in kind to take corrective actions --- WRONG ---- wait people disappeared after seating - i had to keep flagging them down to order drinks - the appetizers - more water - bread -- over all the food was somewhere between ok and good - massive amounts - less quanity and more quality would bring me back"

"Really enjoyed our meal. We always love to find those restaurants that are just loud enough to be energetic but then reasonable enough that we can still talk to one another without shouting.
The only minor complaint I have is how close the tables are so as the servers were trying to get by you were very aware they were there."

"We had a great experience! The food was great; the pasta was a little dry for my liking but overall tasted great. If you like your pasta saucy then make sure to ask for extra sauce. Out appetizer took a little longer than usual (as per the waiter...we didn't even notice) so he gave of free bowls of their chicken soup (which was AMAZING!!). We were so full at the end of the meal so make sure to bring an appetite!! The tirimisu was sooo yummy!!"
