Welcome to Maggiano's in Tyson's Galleria. We are located off of the Beltway near the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Our restaurant is a quick trip from the Washington Monument and Wolf Trap. Maggiano's dining room is an ideal location for your dinner, graduation, or important client meeting.

"On May 15, 2010 my wife and I had our wedding reception in the upstairs ball room at the Tysons Maggiano's, which was awesome. Every year we return for dinner on our anniversary and we love it. The staff is very kind and they give us some champaign and nice deserts on the house. Everyone we talk to wishes us happy anniversary and they are so nice. It is always a nice dining experiance that we look forward to. And on top of all of that, the food is great."

"Lots of luscious choices with a very authentic Italian feel. Smaller groups may want the individual choice of ordering off the menu instead of going with the family style entrees. If you order pasta, you get to take some home! Fresh bread before the meal is excellent. House dressing is very satisfying. Part of a chain, but fresh cooking and ingredients could fool you!"

"I love to meet my husband for lunch at Maggiano's. It is Italian comfort food. There are so many dishes we love. Today we got chopped salad which is one of my favorites. We also ordered lasagne and eggplant parmigiana. The eggplant was especially well prepared and seasoned today. We ordered some extra dishes to bring home so we don't have to cook which is always a good idea when you eat here. That's especially why I think Maggiano's is a good value for the money! You also can always count on reliably good service."

"Our family has been going to Maggiano's for many years and always have a wonderful experience! The food is always amazing, and the staff are very attentive. We have ordered family style most of the time where you pick different courses, and for all the food you receive it is a good price. The kids menus are very affordable and there is enough food for leftovers. No matter if its a special occasion or intimate dinner, our experience has always been fantastic. I do suggest to make reservations because it is always busy."

"I took a group of 23 people, including 11 children under the age of 8. Our reservations were at 5:30 and I requested that 4 high chairs be available when we sat down. I did this hours in advance of our reservation. I arrived at 5:20 to make sure everything was ready. They were getting our table ready. It wasn't ready until 5:50 and the high chairs weren't there. I was embarrassed having so many people there waiting for our table. On a much more positive note our waiter was amazing and great with the kids. Unfortunately, I was surrounded by the kids so I could never hear his name. The food was fantastic. I would definitely go back, just be prepared to wait for our table."

"The evening started rough b/c it is apparent that the restaurant overbooked reservations and they were large prom and birthday groups and there were wall-to-wall people.My parents came up from VA Beach and this was their first time at Maggiano's. My dad thinks Olive Garden is the epitome of Italian dining but our incredible waiter JP made sure to change his mind! The food was impeccable, our waiter was fantastic, and my parents were thrilled. Needless to say, my dad won't be going back to Olive Garden. Thanks for a wonderful Mother's Day dinner."

"All the employees were miserable. We made a reservation but still wasn't seated for 35 minutes. We were in a group of 4- two of the entrees were very good, two were terrible (tortellini and eggplant.) The best part was the buy one, take one deal. Wine was too pricy."

"Management was always visible . . . estimating how long it would be before they could place someone else in our seats.
We decided to go light with a chop salad and onion strings, followed by a new Chef's Favorite, Beef Tenderloin Medallions.
There were three tenderloins cooked as we requested medium rare positioned next to a small flatted half serving of mash potatoes with a handful of onion straws on top. The highlight of the dish was portabella and balsamic cream sauce that tasted very good and was intended to bring the dish together.
Not this time . . . it looked like I had just been served in a Cafeteria line . . . at $26 it should have looked nice.
But the tenderloins, sauce and potatoes were Delicious. Service was great."

"I highly recommended that you make a reservation for dinner. We just so happened to go on a prom night and we had to wait until 7:20 to be seated with a 7:00 pm reservation. However when we were seated the server was very prompt and attentive. A plus was that this location has free valet paking if your ticket was validated."

"My wife & I had only been here with larger family groups. Wanted Italian food & saw an opening for 2 & jumped on it. Sat in their alcove with tables in mall area, not in restaurant proper, & experience was quieter & calmer that usual, which was nice for 2. Martinis with Gorgonzola stuffed olives were excellent! Food was excellent - Caesar salad, chicken parm & grilled tilapia, plus a big hunk of that terrific chocolate cake. Did not do family menu, but still brought some food home. Service excellent - Sean was on top of pacing the service, letting us enjoy our drink early, but being there whenever needed. Terrific evening!"

"The food was great and it was wonderful that we got to take a serving size home with us for the next night! Loved that! The dessert we had was mediocre and pricey, but the rest of the food was delish! And we had a super waiter. So attentive to us, too! We were with friends and sat there for awhile to visit and that didn't mess anyone up at all. That was nice not to feel rushed."

"Maggiano's is always outstanding. Food was fantastic. Lasagna is the best. For the first time tried the toasted pound cake with ice cream, hot fudge and caramelized bananas ... it was to die for. It was a somewhat quiet Saturday lunch hour which our table enjoyed. We have no problem carrying on a conversation in normal tones.
Best part of this visit was our waiter, Theo. Not only was he an excellent server (not intrusive but attentive), he had a great sense of humor. We're definitely going to ask for him in the future."

"We had a wonderful experience this past weekend. My sisters and I took our 82 year old mom out for lunch on her birthday. They gave her some lemon cookies for her birthday at the end at it was really special. Our waiter was so excellent and the food was super and we are still enjoying the leftovers at home!"

"Maggianos at Tysons II used to be our long time go-to place for family get togethers. Very disappointed in what has become. Maggiano's is now a nicely decorated feeding station that slings out pasta and industrial food line dishes with little to no culinary value. It's noisy, large, and set to cram the maximum number of people who are shuttled in and out as fast as possible. It used to be a restaurant with well prepared Italian cuisine (great pasta), caring service, and an understated elegance. Our visit this April was the culmination of what we now see as the last chance we give Maggiano's. For the price, we would rather head to other small regional Italian or family style restaurants."

"Maggiano's service continues to decline under the weight of its popularity as a cheap place to eat Italian "comfort" food. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes for a table, and then were seated in the "overflow" room, which is really a room like a cafeteria for the Corner bakery next door. Service was distracted and erratic, and although we ordered a plate that had the extra take-home meal, we never received the take home meal. Clearly, the low prices are continuing to draw large crowds, but eating here is like eating at a busy Disney restaurant during high season--it's just not an enjoyable experince any more. Get the take out--the food is still acceptable, but the ambiance is only for those who like a high school"

"The food was amazing, but our waiter was awful. It was my first time to magianos, and I was not aware of how the process for taking food home worked (order an entree and get to take home seconds). The waiter was curt and didnt explain anything. He was also very aloof and acted like we weren't good enough to be there. I'd imagine a family style place to have much friendlier service."
