"First, we had drinks with Buddha buttons and those were both fun and yummy. My fish in a miso glaze was delicious. The roasted artichoke was good. The duck was a bit overdone and kind of bland. It would have been nice had they seated us in one of the many open booths for 2, rather than a table for 4."

"I made a reservation for Friday night knowing that it would be busy and I had tickets for a 945pm show down the street. We arrived at 800, and were given a pager and told "although we are busy, since you made a reservation you will have priority seating and should be about, 10-15 minutes and to wait in the bar." So no worries, we waited in the bar and then 836pm rolled around at which point we checked back in with the host. When we asked this time about our reservation, we were given the "how dare you" attitude as it was only 6 minutes past our reservation and they still had 19! tables to seat for the 800 reservations. She suggested we grab dinner at the bar IF we can find a seat. Information that would have been useful 30 min ago. We left"

"We prefer to sit on the bar side, as this area is more romantic and great for date night. However, the music can get a little loud sometimes. So, it would actually be great for a first date -- that way you can blame not talking on the loud music (and still get some great food) if your date is a bust! Ha! But, for couples that really just want to chat and experience the great menu -- stick to the dining side. We have learned to reserve a corner table or booth on the bar side -- you get the energetic atmosphere without being in the middle."

"First I would like to say the food is outstanding. The atmosphere is very nice. I have visited the restaurant on several occasions with friends and tried several different dishes. We have also tried several different desserts and they have not been on par with the quality and taste of the entree selections. We tried them on a whim, we do not normally even eat dessert, so if you are not inclined to try the dessert menu you will be satisfied with your dining experience."

"I don't write a lot of reviews, mostly because I won't take the time to write a review on a so-so restaurant on which I'd already wasted enough time (and money). That said, Jing deserves a review because it was that special. From the enthusiastic greeting at the door, to the even more enthusiastic greeting at the table, to the well trained, attentive (but not invasive) servers to the perfectly prepared Asian inspired meals, to the beautiful decor...wow. "Jing is always great. Prices are a bit steep so I only go here every few months and usually for lunch or happy hour (less expensive).
We went for restaurant week and the food selections were excellent and plentiful. We had the Ahi Sashimi and Chicken Lettuce wraps for our first two courses, which were both excellent. For entrees, my Paris Shrimp was fantastic, crispy and full of tangy sweet flavor. My husbands Peppercorn Tenderloin wasn't what we expected (more of a stir fry when we expected a steak) and the meat was a bit chewy. The flavor was very good though. My Ginger Collins was very good, but tasted a bit too watered down (too much soda water). I wish I could have ordered another one to get my buzz on, but too pricey ($11e"

"Food was delicious and well presented. Service was sporadic - sometimes attentive and sometimes not, especially after we were given our bill. i got the feeling they were more interested in turning the table than letting us linger ver coffee and dessert."

"Friendly and knowledgeable wait staff; beautiful, romantic setting. Experienced sushi for the first time and was pleasantly pleased. The Peppercorn Tenderloin was flavorful and melt in your mouth tender. We'll be visiting Jing's again."

"Have dined here a couple of times before, very delicious chinese food. Did the 52.80 thing but the Hawaiian Chicken I got was very fatty. I didn't eat it, they used dark meat and it was just fat after fat. Our appetizer was great, the calamari is amazing how light the breading is and we of course loved our dessert (banana spring rolls). Over all was a nice dinner but disappointed with the entree. My husbands ribs were great though!"

"You never know what you are going to get during restaurant week. My group was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food as well as the quantity of food. We did not leave hungry. The food was awesome. Our waiter was energetic. The drinks were great. I will be coming back to this restaurant."
