"We celebrated another birthday with a large party at Maggiano's and a great time was had by all, especially me---the birthday girl. Dinner was excellent as was the service. At the end, I got a candle and a plate of their wonderfully light lemon cookies as a birthday surprise. The didn't rush us and we partied for 2 hours. I try to plan as many family celebrations there as I can. Plus I meet friends for lunch or a quiet dinner there in between "occasions". It's always superb."

"We celebrated our 4 year anniversary at Maggiano's. I love this place. I had the salmon on a bed of spinach and orzo---yum! And my husband had the porterhouse steak with carmelized onions and a side of cripsy red potatoes--delicious! We started off with the stuffed mushrooms which were soooo good. I had the riesling and he had portino beer. All so good! And we topped everything off with a dessert wine and NY style cheesecake. To die for!! The food was awesome, the service was great and the place was hoppin' as always :) Great night!"

"Maggiano's was great as always. Even on the busiest eat out day, Mother's Day, the service was superb and food exceellent. Restaurant was packed therefore louder than normal. Our party had:
- chopped salad, loved that
- mozzarella cheese
- chicken picata
- chicken and spinach manicotti (favorite dish)

Eaten here many times and only difference is this time a smaller group and therefore no family style dining. Also, they have changed up the concept to more a complete entree meal (chicken comes with pasta). I for one did not want the pasta and would have loved the larger chicken portion or option for veggies."

"My wife always wants to go to Maggiano's for Mother's Day and it is always special as it was once again, this year. The food was awesome (as usual), and the waiter was absolutely fantastic. There is not a negative word to say about the whole 3 hours we were there. We ordered the Family Feast, Chef's Classic and the crab cakes were to die for. The veal was tatsy and the cheesecake and tiramisu was something we kept asking for more and they kept bringing more. Couldn't eat the rest of the day. Was absolutely stuffed and had some extra to bring home.
We will be back next Mother's Day! Guaranteed!"

"Maggianos is a special occasion place for us. The food is good and the place is always busy which is a good sign in the restauant business. Downside on our recent visit was we had to wait about 40 minutes to get our meals. We had small child with us so we have a limited "window of opportunity". Overall, it was sitll a good experience. Lesson learned for us is Maggianos is better for us on a night when we can get a babysitter. Either way though, 40 minutes is a long time to wait for a meal."

"Our group of 4 was approx 40min late for our lunch reservation due to very bad freeway traffic. We were seated within 5 min of arrival and when we told our server we had a 2pm show at Segerstrom, our orders were expedited. We were dining on our delicious dishes within 20min of being seated. The Parmesan crusted tilapia w/ spinach & orzo was a beautiful layer of favors. I can't speak for the others, but from the silence at our I could tell they were enjoying their entrees -- shrimp scampi, veal piccata, beef tenderloin medallions. The apple crostada w/ caramel sauce & scoop of vanilla ice cream is to die for. I've tried similar desserts at other restaurants. This is the best!"

"I have been coming to Maggiano's for a couple years now and not once have I been disappointed by any aspect of my dining experiences there. The staff is always helpful, friendly and very accommodating. The servers are knowledgable about the menu and have the ability to make truly helpful suggestions. "Brought our aunt for a B-Day lunch. Food was absolutely delicious and the overall experience was super. We told them about the 75th birthday, and they had one of their staff who was a established singer come out and give her a memorable and superb performance. We had their chocolate creation for desert which easily could feed 4 and left with so many leftovers including a few meals that they give you ready to heat at home, it was a bit overwhelming."

"We were seated right on time even though the restaurant was very busy. The waiter was friendly, explained the menu. We told him we had theater tickets so he brought our food right away. Can hardly wait to go back with a big family group."

"I ordered the chicken and spinach manicotti, the top part of it was completely burnt, I didn't think they would still bring it out like that but they did. Normally i love going to Maggiano's but that was a little disappointing. I would still go again but wouldn't order the same thing. When the waitress gave us the check she was already saying bye and telling us thank you for coming but she didn't give us the take home pasta so I thought she should've gave us the pasta first, then say her goodbyes and thank you's. I also had a $10 off coupon and she didn't want to collect it until after I gave her my card which i thought was odd because usually they ask for the coupon first before i have to pay."

"In the past, my experience has always been great. Food was above average and service was excellent, I haven't gone here for a year though. On our visit 5/4/13, the quality of food seems to have gone down drastically. As for service - rushed and abrupt. I was told to hold on for a minute when I asked for a doggie bag for entrees barely touched. BTW, the front desk girl could not find our reservations. I showed the Open Table reservations on my iPhone and she refuses to even look at it. She said that they do not go by online reservations. I had to aggressively pursue two other girls behind her to check and they found it under our cell phone#. They said that the name Andy may have been misspelled? No apologies from any of them."

"We have been to Maggiano several times and this is one of the not so good experience. This particular experience is not as good as prior dinning with Maggiano. They sat us at the Bar area even when we have reservation. The service is not to par ( was bad). We kept requesting for items which the server should have brought them or should know how to take care the guests. He attitude is not one of the finest personality within this type of industry. Overall, the food is good but definitely not a quiet place."

"We arrived a few minutes early and were seated right on time for our reservation. We ordered appetizers and salads instead of an entree. The server brought out the salad. and forgot to order the appetizer. He apologized and gave us free soups while the appetizers were fired. When they came out they were too salty (crab cakes)The salad was the spinach salad and the dressing was on the sweet side and although it was good it wasn't what I would have expected on that type of salad. I will be back and try something different next time."
