"The portions are large, the food good, and the restaurant packs in the crowds. We've been going for years, but the last time just seemed too chaotic. There were several large groups (graduation), servers going back and forth constantly, and just too much activity for it to be relaxing for a twosome. I think they've become too successful. The food is also richer than what I prefer to eat."

"GREAT FOOD AND REASONABLE PRICES. I Arrived late for my reservation on a Saturday and although they were very crowded, they seated me right away. The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the lasagna and received a free order for lunch the next day. Whenever I think of Italian food, I head to MAGGIANO'S Old Orchard. They ALWAYS aim to please."

"We had a 2 hour lunch! Really!
Our reservation was set at 2:15 PM. We arrived at 2:12 according to our cell phones. But were not sat until 2:45PM. We ordered family style. Our appetizers took over 20 minutes to appear. Then we asked for additional serving which took another 15 minutes. What did appear was the WRONG item. Our main course was not served until 3:35 PM! We asked for an addtional serving on one item, at 4PM, by 4:15 we asked for our leftovers to be packed up including desert. That took and additional 15 minutes. We did not leave until 4:40PM!

"Went to Maggiano's for mothers day. Reservations were made for 1:30. We were seated at 1:28. Our server was Jackie. What a wonderful experience. Very attentive, pleasant and helpful. It did take a little extra time for the food to be served, but it was Mother's Day and packed. The portions were large, served hot and very flavorful. Classic dishes come with another full portion to take home.
Upon leaving I did mention to the management just how pleased we were. One more note; My parents are elderly and need some help walking. I had requested a table not to far from the entry. They provided a table in a perfect location for us."

"My daughter and I had planned to enjoy an early Mother's Day with a nice dinner after an afternoon of shopping. We were pleased to see that we got seated right on time, even though there were a lot of people waiting. I wasn't happy with our table (on the aisle and close to the kitchen), but I figured it wasn't worth bothering about. We knew what we wanted, so we ordered right away. 35+ minutes later, we still hadn't received even our salad. I had to ask the waitress for it, and when it came, it had obviously been prepared and sitting in the dressing for quite some time - the lettuce wasn't crisp at all. I asked the waitress twice about the pasta, which never came at all. After 45 mintues, we got up and left. Doubt we will go back."

"Maggianos is a favorite spot for my family. We frequent several of the locations in the area. I was very disappointed in my experience, as my service was well below par. the food was the same is it normally is, but our waiter seemed to pay very little attention to us. I had to college students is my guests this evening, and I'm not sure if the waiter thought that he would have a low tip because of the age bracket of our table, or if he just didn't care. he paid very good attention to the table behind us. I take very good care of my waiter is when I receive good service, and was very disappointed in my experience this time. we are not sure if we will visit this location again."

"Great time- we went in to celebrate my daughter's 17th birthday. Flowers that I that I ordered were in the table upon arrival-nice surprise for my daughter. Meals were great- everytime we go in, I try a new dish. This time it was the Bowtie specialty dish. It was great- portions are always great. What brought us in was the take a meal home. The prices are reasonable-you walk out pretty full and still with leftovers. The waiter did a great job with the dessert item- he brought out the most amazing chocolate cake to sing happy birthday. Daughter loved it. Which by the way- it's better than Portillos chocolate cake- those were her words.

"I always enjoy Maggiano's. I can always rely on it to be good. It's good, really good for the price, not necessarily great. The menu has a large variety of good choices. "I was very disappointed for this Easter brunch because the main dish was warm , at best,when I received it. The coffee tasted as though it had been sitting around for awhile and when I poured cream into it the cream scattered into small particles.
I have never had such a poor experience at your restaurant before. It will be some time before I consider going back."
