"Everything about our dining experience at L'Andana was good except for the waiting. Our meal should have taken about an hour; it ended up taking about two. Since this was our first meal at L'Andana, I don't know if this is typical. If we go again, we will instruct our waitperson that we don't need quite so much time between courses. The setting, the staff, and the food were uniformly excellent."

"Very good food, but not near the creative level of other J. Mamanno establishments such as Mistral. Very nice Tuscan-inspired interior design, comfortable seats and table spacing, good service. Menu items are somewhat "normal" or standard, well executed but not inspired like downtown cutting edge foodie establishments. "I had dinner with a friend staying at the Burlington Marriott, and I decided on L'Andana, based on location and reviews. The food was good, but not exceptional enough to justify the prices charged. The wine was very good, and L'Andana has a very good list. The atmosphere is quiet and dimly lit, which is a plus. One thing about atmosphere which I found annoying for a "high class" restaurant is that they had cheesy music playing on the PA in the main dining room. Service was rather amateurish to the point of being amusing, considering the price point.To be fair, I did not have a steak, and this is essentially a steak house. Overall, it's good to know that there is a good expense account restaurant off 128 near the Burlington Marriott."

I applaud restaurants that do make menu changes,but not impressed with several of the new items.
I don't need L'Andana to offer several steak cuts/sides.
I can go to Capital Grillefor this.
I dine at L'Andana for the creative choices it offers.
Cornish Hen/Swordfish not 2 of them.
Lamb Bolognese should be better described with pork/veal also.
I miss the Chicken with Arugula and Tomatoes!

"While my first impression literally was, "Wow, the parking lot seems small." Once inside the beautiful building it was all forgotten as I got lost in the smell of the wood burning fires and the pleasant ambiance of the restaurant. A spacious room with high ceilings gave a open feeling to the room. The waitstaff and hostesses were pleasant and helpful. Our drinks were delicious and the food choices made decision making difficult because there were great options.
We were very happy with our appetizers and entree choices. All the food came out hot (though I thought my soup was a little TOO hot) and the plates were beautifully prepped. The a la carte sides are large and sufficient to share. We will definitely be going again!"

"This is just another over priced steak house. The menu is boring as you can imagine since it is just a steak house. Everything is grilled. For that price I would like to see more culinary techniques. For the starter, I had Prosciutto Di Parma. The mozzarella does not taste anything. It tasted like the cheap one you buy at a supermarket. Real Italian fresh mozzarella would be nice. The Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly but again I can grill a steak just as good.
The dessert, Panna Cotta Di Caramello with salted caramel was too salty. No one at our table could eat it. What a disappointment!"

"I have been here several times. They have all the ingredients for success. Occasionally there is a hiccup. The server seemed distracted and so there were lapses that affected what otherwise was a wonderful meal. I like L'Andana and will return. I almost always use this venue for business purposes. These people travel alot and are looking for a nice dining experience to make it all worth it."

"We went here to L'Andana to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had a reservation and were immediately seated. We were shown a cocktail menu and wine list to peruse. There was a great selection and I got a cucumber martini while my wife got a blackberry martini. I had the arugula salad and my wife had the ceasar salad. The arugula salad was so fresh! It tasted like the arugula was fresh from the garden. For the entrees, my wife had the salmon and I got the swordfish. We got the truffle fries and sugar snap peas as sides. Again, the fish was very fresh and delicious as were the sugar snap peas. The truffle fries were good as well. I had a glass of pinot grigio from the wine list that was good, too. For dessert we had the panna cotta, amazing!"

I had made a special request for a round table. The table was ready for us immediately upon our arrival and they had saved a round one. The servers were professional and helpful and teh food was delicious The ambance is second to none!"
