"The atmosphere is lively but not too loud. The service was very good. I ordered the Mushroom/Brie burger and wasn't impressed. The Onion Rings were very good! It was good but nothing special. My wife had the Fish Tacos and said they were very good. Drinks were very well made and generous. We'll go back, but I'll try something different for sure. The rest of the menu sounded good but we were trying to keep it inexpensive that night."

"Food was outstanding. Noise level was a little loud for a romantic quite dinner, but that didn't bother us. we just happened to be seated next to the kitchen which added some noise. Drinks were great, service was exceptional, waiter knowledge wonderful, and food was out of this world. TIP- they will substitute the sides, Try the blackened Fish and Grits, with the turnip greens instead of the green beans. The combination will bring you to your knees. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to go back."

"it had been a few years since we been to Saffire's, and it was an impulse for us to choose this restaurant. "My wife and I went to sapphire hoping for a nice romantic date night. We arrived and were promptly seated. The waiter took our drink orders and those came out quickly. Our food order was the. Placed. My wife ordered the pork chop based on the waiters recommendation. I ordered the prime rib medium rare. The food came out in less than five minutes. Nothing says hey we just warmed up your food in the microwave like bringing it out in under five minutes after ordering. I consider myself a prime rib expert and have tried it pretty much everywhere around Nashville. Hands down this was the worst prime rib I have ever had. Logan's roadhouse does a better job with it."

"We have always liked Saffire. Food is interesting, service is good. Just be careful when ordering a salad and asking for chicken or salmon to be added to it. I ordered an $8 entree salad and asked to have salmon added to it. There was another salad with salmon already on it for $14 on the menu. Imagine my surprise when I received the bill and they charged $12 for the salmon, taking my salad price to $20! Shame on me for not asking the price, I guess, but I have never seen a restaurant in this price range charge anything close to $12 to add meat to a salad."

"We ate there this weekend for Mothers Day and the food was bad & so was the service. We had items missing from our order that were requested twice, but never receive the missing items. It took 10 minutes before our waiter showed up to take our drive order. My steak was burnt and my salad was soaked in dressing. I would highly recommend not going to Saffire. For $160, I could have to e to Applebee's and had a better meal."

"I really enjooyed the Caprese Sandwich, though mixed greens were substituted for basil, which was greatly missed! My campanion"s shrimp & grits cakes was really good too, though we both missed the traditional creamy grits.

"Saffire is a happening place in the Factory at Franklin. Using the reservation system was great and when we were stuck in traffic on the way, we called the restaurant and they held our reservation. They offer a nice selection of beer with local, domestic and import options. The menu provides a nice variety of food so you have options if you aren't sure what you are hungry for. The cheese bread they bring is excellent (although I wish they would bring more butter!). I recommend the pork chop with the greens. Not sure what they do to the turnip greens but can't remember ever having any better. I have heard the shrimp and grits are excellent and I look forward to trying that in the future."

"Wow what a find! The food was amazing - I had the crab cake arugula salad and my friend had the grilled salmon salad. We had to try the onion rings as a starter and those were fantastic too. The cocktail list looked so good I came back a few hours later to try the Saffire martini with their homemade blueberry simple syrup and it was a treat. If you are in the area or visiting this is a must visit place.
The location in The Factory mall is great as well as there are so many intriguing antique and art shops there to look around in before or after your meal."

"Food was fabulous. We had appetizer of bam bam shrimp. Very tasty with a kick. Then we had the caesar with ham and sorghrum. I had never had anything like it. It was unbelievably good. Then the three entrees were the New York Strip, the special fish dish of the evening Hawaiian fish and grits, and the pork chop. Each dish was unique and unbelievably good."

"Saffire was exactly what we were looking for - dinner before a show, wine, cheese, very nice menu selections, and excellent food! This was my first time, and I was very pleased. I also loved the fact that parking was readily available. Service was efficient, and our server was fantastic (Alex). My friend was a vegetarian, and for an appetizer, she suggested a very nice cheese plate (which wasn't on the menu). They had some vegetarian pasta choices for my friend, and my halibut was excellent. Loved this place! It was tucked in the Factory at Franklin (collection of shops and restaurants in a renovated warehouse vibe). I definitely plan to return, and will always consider Saffire a dining option when in Franklin!"

"We went on a Saturday evening and the live music seemed way too loud. There were four at our table, but we noticed several large groups,so perhaps that is why it seemed to take an extremely long time before our order was taken (and only after we had flagged down our server to ask that our order for our entrees be taken). Once our order was turned in our food came in a reasonable amount of time. Our entrees were flavorful and nicely presented. We ordered the cheeses plate as an appetizer, and, though all the cheeses were good, the server never told us what they were and the accompanying crackers were not enough. Our after dinner decaffeinated coffee was very good. We'll try to go back when it's quieter next time."

"Another great meal at Saffires. I met girls friends for an early dinner. To my surprise the place was already hopping. We had the fried avocado for and appetizer, it was excellent. Two of us had the pan seared Salmon, another the blackened fish taco and the chicken fried steak. All were wonderful. We ended up staying longer than we expected, it is a good place for a late night drink. There was a music group playing by he bar too."

"We dine out every weekend at the nicest restaurants that Nashville has to offer. We showed up slightly early for our reservations, and we were told to go to bar that they would be with us shortly. After an hour had passed I approached the hostess only to see that we were forgotten. We were seated at a table by the door which was drafty,loud and unpleasant. Despite the servers attempt at making a mends our position next to the hostess remained uncomfortable. We watched as the talented piano player was also ignored during his attempt to get a drink during a brief intermission."

"The place has a casual, industrial feel and is great for a date night or dinner with a group of friends. The band is nice, but makes it a little more difficult to hear. Prices are reasonable and the food is absolutely delicious with plenty of creative options. I have not been for lunch, but definitely recommend Saffire for dinner."

"I have been to Saffire many times and enjoyed my meal each time. I love the casual ambiance and a bit more creative menu, but Thursday evening was a total bust. We had a European guest with us and were looking forward to a relaxed and pleasant evening. The evening and the company were great, but our meals were a disappointment. We ordered the fresh catch; Massachusetts Cod with wilted kale and butternut squash. Both meals were over salted. While I understand that saltiness is an individual preference, this was crazy. Cod is a delicately flavored fish and can't stand up to over seasoning. It was beautifully presented, but there were also cherry tomatoes in the kale and squash, weird combo. Dessert was also awful. Disappointed!"

"We always love the atmosphere in Saffire. Most of our party really enjoyed their food, but the ones that had the Salmon were disappointed with the Fall veggies under it. Apparently they could have substituted,but they were trying to let the chef do the pairing. Appetizers are really good. Will definitely keep it on our list of favorites."

"I had the cheeseburger and it was not good at all. The texture was very harsh and mine had a lot of bone and gristle. It was also flavorless. It tasted like they just put a mound of ground beef on the grille."

"This was our first time at Sapphire, and it was Valentine's Day so we were impressed to walk in and immediately be seated at our table. The service was paced perfectly; we did not feel rushed at all, but we didn't wait long between courses either. Our server was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions; his recommendations were excellent (the peach-glazed pork chop was one of the best I've had). I wouldn't say that the food was "outstanding," but it was definitely worth every penny, and we will be back. The atmosphere was perfect as well, live music playing but not too loudly, and though the noise level was somewhat "energetic," it was not so loud we couldn't hear each other talking."
