Beano's Cabin
Amazing cuisine, well-chosen wines, impeccable service, and a unique transportation option to the restaurant have made Beano’s Cabin a favorite destination for years. In the winter, the only way to get up to Beano’s Cabin is via an open air sleigh ride, pulled by a snow cat. Live music is performed while guests dine on an expertly prepared meal by Executive Chef Bill Greenwood.
Adults enjoy a five-course dinner with live musical entertainment for $112 per person. Discounts are available for children 11 and under. Please note these prices do not include alcoholic beverages, taxes or gratuity.

"Great experience in Breaver Creek! A bit expensive. Rid win open snow cat to and from Restaurent is beautiful and often times a little cold so dress appropriately. The live music is a little loud and makes conversation difficult. Overall a fun experience to do at least once!"

"This place is so over rated. The food is decidedly average. The roast squash salad was so uninspired it was laughable. Tiny cubes of boiled squash does not a roast squash salad make. The panna cotta was the consistency of white jello and totally devoid of flavor. The halibut (farm raised from Colorado or wild from Idaho - depending on which server you asked) was decent. The ambiance was reminiscent of a family style Italian restaurant with the crooner at the front blasting out cover songs all night. The service average. Ok, maybe I'm a cynical New Yorker who is used to excellent food and excellent service but for $200 a head (including wine,tax,tip) I expected a lot more. The ride up the hill is fun!"

"My family and I were on holiday in Colorado from the UK and came across an advert for Beanos Cabin and decided to treat ourselves. And what a treat it was!! The staff at Beaver Creek were really helpful and friendly in getting us all on the sleigh and had a great welcome at the restaurant. Loved the food and atmosphere. Very memorable experience. My 9 month old niece was also very welcome and the restaurant did have a nice family atmosphere. Only let down was that the end of the meal was very rushed and we weren't offered coffee etc, the bill was put on the table without us asking. We guessed they wanted the table for other customers. But up till that point the staff were so friendly and attentive."

"Michael, our waiter rocked! We were seated for the 7:30 seating, which we did not realize was past the children's menu options. Well, luckily our 9 and 11 year happended to love the two speciality entre's of the night, but Micheal was quick to re-adjust with the Chef in order to provide kid friendly extras, such as personal pizza's for an app; and french fries as their side....btw...the pesto scallops were wonderful.
Of course the sleigh ride there and back is always special.

"We went to Beano's Cabin on our last night at Beaver Creek. We did the early seating with our two boys (5 and 8). From the open air ride up the mountain to the beautiful log cabin restaurant everything was perfect. It was definitely expensive so be prepared it's a 5 course menu for adults. They had a guitarist that was wonderful, a fire going and the food was wonderful. Our waiter was attentive and knew his way around the menu...Gorgeous views all around! Highly recommend!!"

"Beautiful restaurant, and the sleigh ride up the mountain is a real high-light. The food is complex, and beautifully presented. However, as a family attending their restaurant, our service was less than desired. Our entire table spent a good deal of the evening with empty glasses-- wine, soda pop, or water. Empty, finished plates also sat on the table for far too long. This seems inexcusable given the hefty price one pays. We were a party of six, and 18% gratuity is automatically charged. In a restaurant of this caliber, we would normally have left a 25% tip, but felt cheated with even the 18%. :("

"We've been to Beano's many times over the past 15 years sharing one of our favorite restaurants with both business associates and personal friends. It has always been a special experience, from the ride up the mountain to the varied menu, excellent wine list and wonderful music. We have always had fun, friendly and excellent service. We were confident we'd have the same experience when we invited visiting friends to join us this past weekend. Unfortunately, our dining experience was not great, not even close. Service was slow and our various waitstaff appeared rushed and a bit abrupt. Music was loud and not up to talent level of our past experiences. Perhaps we just hit an "off" night?"

"Great experience to ride up the mountain on the snow cat. Interesting menu but the more "safe" appetizers were sold out, so had to try Drunken Elk Tar Tar and Rabbit, not so excited about that, would have preferred the proscutto. Great experience but felt they pushed towards the end to try to turn over tables and fill up their Snow Cat on the way down. No need for them to approach tables, they should just post their schedule."

"Don't miss Beano's Cabin on your stay in the Beaver Creek/Vail/Edwards area! The snowcat-sleigh ride begins your experience. You might be lucky enough to have Jeb play his "Broken Snowboard Blues" for you. Then when you reach the cabin, you warm up to a magical, rustic setting, with willing and knowledgeable servers, happy to cater to your needs. The oysters in their natural juices, tequila, lime and cucumber were a standout for an appetizer. We dined on Colorado Lamb and Rainbow Trout with perfect wine parings. I will be returning again and again to this warm, wonderful cabin. Live music was provided by a lone guitarist who played great baby boomer tunes beautifully but unobtrusively."

"Worth it! The whole experience. Even the sleigh ride. Food is fantastic with a really deep wine list. There were times when the service felt a little rushed. Regardless, this is a definite 'do not miss' place if you're in the area!"

"Beaver Creek is a resort community for families, but Beano's missed the mark with how they handled their kid's menu. Upon seating we requested kid's menu for our two children and were told loudly by 2 different waiters with attitude that "the price was still the same"....my husband and I were offended by the waiters when we didn't even ask about price. Why would the waiters assume that we were concerned about price? Also, the wine steward felt inclined to tell us that the wine he was recommending was from a vineyard that had been sued. What a strange comment"

"We had high expectations for Beano's Cabin but were disappointed. Reservations are required, and our reservation was for 7pm. We were not seated until 8pm, which is very late. The ambiance was poor as the restaurant was extremely noisy. We could barely talk to our table mates due to the noise and the tables are extremely close together. For the price....$112 per person, excluding drinks, I was expecting much more. We will not be back. We tried Zach's Cabin last year, similar set-up, and we really enjoyed that experience much more over Beano's Cabin. Food was better, ambiance was significantly better, and our reservations were on time!"

"A great restaurant tucked up in the mountain- from the snowcat sleigh ride up to the comfy slippers upon your arrival, every detail has been thought of. The food is amazing no matter what you choose, and thankfully the portions are appropriately sized because there are 5 courses. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming and most accommodating, and we can't wait to return!"

"Over snow transport made for an interesting start to a special evening. Be sure to dress warmly and follow the instructions given by the sleigh hostess for using the waterproof ponchos. It's a much more enjoyable ride being warm and dry. Changing into supplied slippers in the cloakroom was a nice touch to make us comfortable. The log cabin environment was classic and inviting. The waitstaff were exceptional. They were always attentive but never intrusive. One waitress even suggested moving us to another table when she realized that we were seated between two tables of noisy young children. (This is not a children's restaurant) The menu choices were impressive. The food presentation and taste was fabulous. Beano's Cabin is a must visit."

"Beano's Cabin is an interesting experience. I thought it might be a bit touristy, however, it's not. The ride up in the snow cat is beautiful, especially on a clear night where you can see the stars. The service in the restaurant is impeccable and the food is solid, but not outstanding.
My major complaint is that we ordered a $200+ bottle of French Burgundy and it had not been cellared. It's inexcusable to sell premium wine and serve it at room temperature.
So, I would recommend the restaurant, just drink cocktails and stay away from the wine list."

"I love the "experience" of Beano's cabin. The ride to and from is beautiful. Unfortunately our food was not very good. I got the lamb upon our waiter's request. It was so tough I could not even cut it with the knife. It was very chewy. My husband got the elk and did not enjoy it either. Our servers and the manager were so very nice though, and did a really good job. They replaced my lamb with a filet which was much better, but not anything very special. I do not mind paying $200-$300 for a beautiful dinner. However, if I do, I expect the food to be outstanding! I will say everything else about the experience was very nice including the ambiance and the service. I don't think I would return to Beano's though."

"Wow! This was a spectaclar restaurant. Matt, our waiter, Clayton our sleigh ride master of ceremony, and the amazing wine someillier made the night even more fabulous. I am not a meat eater but my husband is so we had a great cross section of the menu. Everything was outstanding. The Scallops were to die for - as was the lightly smoked rainbow trout. Both were the best I've ever had. My husband had the pork tenderloin and loved it. The amuse potato soup was also out of this world. The wine list was incredible - for us California Napa wine drinkers. The price was as expected - a bit on the high side - but we truly loved the whole experience."

"Memorable, but COLD ride up the mountain. Talkative and fun college kid narrates a history with fun facts. They have slippers you can change into, but we all thought it a bit gross to put on something someone else had on.
Bummer that the fireplace is not working. Last time a roaring fire made a great photo and added to the atmosphere.
Great wine list, mulit coarse meal. Great food and plenty of choices. Very expensive. $780 for 5 (one child).
