"The grilled calamari appetizer was really good. Loved the flavor of the olive oil and balsamic vinegars. They made a big difference in the taste of the food. Mario was really nice and paitent. Just a nice relaxing dinner overall. We never felt rushed to move along even as the place started to fill up for peak dinner hour."

"My fiancee and I dined here on a Saturday night (March 8, 2013), so the place was packed. And pretty loud. We were 10 mins early for our 8 p.m. reservation, and there was really no place for us to comfortably stand by the bar because it was full and the tables are crammed almost right up against the bar area. But the staff got us a table around our reservation time, our server did a yeoman's job, the food was tasty (eight-finger cavatelli with olive oil, pepper flakes and crumbled sausage, and crispy salmon with a lemon caper sauce on risotto), the portions were sumptuous, and the prices were decent. Don't go there on a Saturday night if you're looking for peace and quiet, but for a solid Italian meal with solid service, jump on in."

"It is a very nice Italian restaurant located in what I assume was a diner at one point. It has the same architectural style, but the inside has been completely gutted and looks very different. There is a large, open kitchen and a lot of tables. Great food and our waiter was fantastic! There is a good selection of seafood options and traditional Italian food."

"The staff at Rosebud Trattoria is wonderful. They are friendly, and very attentive. The food is plentiful and quite good, especially enjoyed the mozzarella cheese ball. with basil and cooked tomatoes...yummy. The only issue I had was you're only a foot away from the neighboring table(s), and the noise level was vey high. It was very difficult to carry on a conversation across the table, you have a better chance of talking to your fellow diners on either side of you, which we did, and enjoyed it. I did go at 7 PM on a Saturday night, so I imagine it was their busiest time of the day. Thanks to Joseph D, our server, he was wonderful, and his suggestions, were right on."
