"I've had a good experience at Taps almost everytime. There's only been one bad experience & the manager did take action. It's just unfortunate I took my brothers there during that visit so they never want to go back. I've been back several times w/no regrets.
So happy they have a Gluten-Free menu, this makes it so much easier to dine hear instead of being a challenge."

"Cambria Vacation HouseWhen you spend $31 for a ribeye it can't be tough, poorly seasoned and undercooked.
The potatoes were tired looking but the asparagus was perfect.

The ambience was excellent, Alex was top notch, but disappeared apparently due to being understaffed.
The wait staff were very welcoming and polite I just wished the food was better. Not one person out of our group of eight said a single thing about the bisque, magi magi and risotto or the rib eye.

"The instant I sat at the bar to get a drink I was greeted and asked how I could be helped.The bar area was very busy, but everyone seemed to be able to get more than enough service than could be expected from such a busy place. The food and drinks were prompt and great tasting as well.I will definitely be visiting again."

"The food was great. The waiter was awesome. The restaurant was nice and clean. The only issue I had was after making a reservation and showing up in time, i was told that we were checked in and would be seated right away. As we waited, another couple came in with the same reservation time as my wife an I. They were seated right away. Then a walk in group of 3 to 4 came in, and they were seated as we waited. Then a group with a pager was summoned up and seated. And we proceeded to wait another 5-10 minutes before we were finally seated. Other than that the experience was wonderful."

"It was a girl's weekend out. We had an outstanding waitress, named Roxie. She never gave us chance to ask for refills, additional silverware or plates. The design of the restaurant seemed to have change since I last visited. I was disappointed that the chefs could not make a decent omelet. They were overcooked. I also noticed that there were no truffles. Roxie was nice enough to ask the chef to prepare them just for us. They were very good but not like the ones I have had before. I did take pictures and will post them later. I will always come back."

"Hello- Me and my family/group had a wonderful time all except for the service. We asked for 3 coffees, never brought them. Asked for condiments, never brought them, asked for waters, long wait. Omelettes took forever. It got to the point that when we wanted something, we simply got up and got it ourselves from the wait staff inside. Our waitress was very friendly and courteous, just maybe a little over worked and/or forgetful. We will definitely come back, but regarding this outting, the service was poor. It would be better if you made the coffee readily available for the customers and maybe have an omelette station to place your orders in yourselves. Even when we asked for the check it took over 15 mins to receive it."

"Wait staff was excellent however the host is not very pleasant, I've had bruch at TAPS twice and the hostess attitude is the same. She does not look at you to acknowledge your presence and there's no smile in her voice when speaking. Even though I had a reservation somehow the hostess overlooked my reservation and my friends I were seated 15min late and I had to remind her I have a reservation and had checked in on time.
Once your inside the food, atmosphere, and wait staff are great."

"This was our first time here. There were so many things on the menu we wanted to try. We will have to return to do more. We focused on fish but there are some steks we can't wait to have too. "They served a cold steak, then reheated it, and served us a hockey puck. It was embarrassing, since we wet buying dinner for clients. The waiter disappeared for at least 20 min. So I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon, if ever. We did speak to the GM and he said he would adjust our bill after we called him to voice our concerns. Still waiting for my adjustment."

"My friend and I both had the ribeye steak and it was cooked to perfection. This was the best either of us had ever had. We ordered stuffed mushrooms annd they were to die for. The menu is a bit pricey but we both walked out stating that it was one of the best meals either of us had ever had. (2 ribeyes, 1 order of stuffed mushrooms, 6 raw oysters and 4 beers= $126.00)"

"Went there for their prix fixe Valentine's Day dinner. The lobster bisque was good, although a little rich for me (bisque should be rich but not swimming in cream), prime rib was good although I couldn't get rare only medium rare, husband had filet mignon which he loved. Both had mashed potatoes mine with a bit of bacon which was tasty. Dessert was butter rum cake which was divine-freshly baked in it's own pan and topped with ice cream. The most memorable item of the night was the champagne/sparkling wine flight with a long stemmed red rose. Service was good. Would return for sure for another prix fixe menu night."

"Menu was pre-fixe for Valentine's Day. For what they charged we could have gone to Fleming's and had way better food and ambience. We had reservations and were sat at a tiny table barely big enough to put dinner on in the wine tasting room. Dinner was ok. I ordered prime rib and it was cooked as I asked and the portion was more than enough. My husband ordered the salmon. I had to share my dinner with him as his portions were a little on the small side. Dessert wasn't good. We both ordered the double chocolate cheesecake, it bad no chocolate taste or cheesecake texture. It was more like flan. It took almost 30 minutes to get the dessert. When we told our server we did not like it, she did replace it. Replacement was not much better."

"The service was extremely slow. Oysters were very good, but my entree (Rib Eye Steak) was flavorless and was very tough even though I ordered it medium rare.Management did not charge for my entree even though I did not complain, they just noticed I did not eat but a couple of bites of the steak and asked if I did not enjoy it, for which I replied, NO!! I would not go back."

"Service was ok. Food was not prepared correctly. I ordered the filet trio medium. The first one was medium well the second one and third one were both well. We had 10 people in our party and only 2 people were happy with the way their food was cooked"

"Had reservations on a frigid Sun. night when it was fairly empty. Been here 3-4 times before, and were positive. Party of 7 were seated promptly. After that, everything went downhill. Took the server 10 minutes to come to our table to take our drink orders. We asked for a Prix Fixe menu. 25 minutes passes and waitress comes back asking us to take our order to which we replied we did not get the Prix Fixe menu yet. We finally get the Prix Fixe menu after 30 minutes from the time of asking. We ordered 5 minutes later and get our main entrees another 40 minutes later. Food average. Rib eye ordered medium rare was cooked well done. Manager got us another one and comped that entree. Nice gesture, but we will not be coming back anytime soon."

"We went for brunch, service was great! I do wish Taps had the same selection at brunch as they used to. Food is good, but the selection of items is down. I miss the jazz music playing and the beads, but most of all, the selection of items."
