The best things in life aren't trendy or flashy. The best things in life are timeless. Comfortable. The grille is that kind of place. Casually urbane and elegant-without a hint of pretension. The kind of place that feels right- the moment you walk in, and each time you come back. Because you will want to come back. The Grille is a classic where you can relax and catch up with friends and family. Enjoy a casual gourmet fare with an emphasis on great steaks and the freshest seafood- and a unique twist with every dish.
"I have been going to The Grille on Congress for many years and the meals have always been terrific. The staff is very courteous and te service is very timely. I never feel rushed and continue to patronize this establishment often."

"Very nice atmosphere, pleasant surroundings. Menu has pleasant food, but only a step or two above ordinary. I know people who love it, but I find it a place to go when I don'know what else to do. $5 happy hour glass of wine is ok."

"The food was less than Average nothing was impressive whatsoever, except for the biscuit at the beggining of the meal. It's all downhill from there. . Our waiter was nice but that was the extent of our satisfaction. With so many options in the area I will never return"

"Always reliable, food is good but relatively basic. Lots of it pleases the generally older crowd. Noise can be problem. But those biscuits quiet everyone down - for a moment."

"I ordered roasted chciken which was over cooked, the skin was burtn (and it tasted burnt) and the meat was very dried. I had to ripped off the bone and put in in my salad to moisten it with the salad dressing. MY husband had chicken marsela which was good but not for the price. The biscuits, however, were to die for."

"Had always wanted to eat at the Grille (since it opened) and not in our area - so hadn't done until this past weekend with a visitng friend...the restaurant is "nice" - but dated...and was surprised at the booth near the kitchen that the owner wanted to place us...while we did request another table...and were re-seated...thought this was off to a bad start.
The restaurant was quite busy and the waiter while nice...was not attentive enough - never asked if wanted another glass of water, wine or drink...just one thing after another...drinks, appetizer, food, coffeee and off he went each time.
You could feel that they wanted the table for incoming diners and it was an uncomfortable feeling all throughout our dinner.
Food was o"

"This restaurant was over booked and did not honor reservations. The hostess was not available for check in. People were crowded at the entrance and waiting for more tham 30 minutes. Since there was no one to check in with, we left."

"We had a 6:15 PM reservation. I had requested a table for 4 in the back room. It was not available. The first table we were shown was unacceptable. It was the first table for 4 in the front where everyone entering the restaurant would pass by. I usually ask for a booth but one of our friends who we were with is a big man and needs to sit at a table. I personally prefer a booth and will ask for one the next time I come. I have a phobia about sitting at any table since I do not like people walking in back of me. I told the waitress (Laurie) about my dissatisfaction with the table and I must say she went out of her way to compensate by offering us excellent service. I would ask for her next time. The food was excellent."

"I have been to The Grille on Congress many times during the past 10 or so years, and have always found the quality of the food, presentation and service to be above average. My last visit was no exception. Portions are more than adequate to match the good quality and taste. And of course, there are the famous biscuits - of which you cannot eat just one. A very comfortable restaurant with very good food and ambiance."
